When a crazy plant lady and crazy fish guy come together to form an alliance. We met on marketplace trying to sell plants to each other. Fast forward 1 year later, we now live together and do all our projects together. She has gotten me more into houseplants and I have gotten her more into fish aquariums.
We’ve been working on all these house plant projects for around a year to and this is our status. We also have a bunch of fish tanks mixed in with the house plans which I think is super cool. We built a shelf that holds house plants that drains itself so that you don’t have to remove the house plans when watering now.
A lot of people have been asking about the humidity in our house and it doesn’t get too bad. it’s actually really pleasant in the house. Plants love it. A lot of people seem to think that the walls are moldy and we’re gross people that live in crazy humidity but that’s not the case. Once in a while, the place will get a bit of a musty smell in the house, but that can be controlled with fans and a dehumidifier when needed.
We used to have probably double the amount of fishtanks you see in this video we used to have a bunch in the basement as well. We also had a 450 gallon pond in our basement but that was creating too much humidity down there and we were starting to get a little bit of mold in the house.
