Hey Christine! I've been watching for I guess 7 or 8 years now (Since Pinksofoxy days!). I don't enjoy the plant videos but I do occasionally watch them just to catch up. We all grow and change and THAT'S OK! I really love your food and cooking vids, your crafty and cleaning videos, your declutter videos, and even just your vids where you are grocery shopping or cleaning your patio. Things are so weird in the world right now so I am just thankful to have videos to watch so I can live vicariously! Much love to you!

Change is good. I really curated my life, in terms of what I love to do and it had to be 1000000% of what I wanted to spend my time on. I am even good now with purging anything from my life that is not what I would run in and save from a fire, without even thinking about it to the point of driving myself nuts. It's not worth it. People, material things, ideas, interest, are all combed over on a pretty regular basis now. It's been wonderful! You 40's do really wake you up! I do like what you eat in a day because you give me ideas but do you. It's all lovely.

I love the calming effect of your videos. This video is inspiring and it’s just what the doctor ordered. I’m in my 40’s too and been feeling torn on what to do for the next 10-20 years of my life. I always look forward to your videos! My love of plants started 2 years ago, and your videos were part of the beginning of my planty journey. I’ve learned so much about plants and figuring out soil mixes for each plant. Thank YOU so much for sharing your knowledge. Please keep making videos and sharing what you love. 💕

I absolutely love your videos. You either thoroughly do your research before filming a video or you are extremely knowledgeable about plants! I so appreciate how you not only show what you do but also the RESULTS. Case in point, I just watched a video from another channel where they showed step by step how to do something and later in the comments they admit it didn’t work. That is so frustrating!

I think I found you because I was looking for neutral decor inspiration back when you were living in Hawaii. I have loved the direction your channel has gone. I love the videos about minerals/crystals and the plant, particularly tropicals, content. You have a very soothing presence on RU-vid and your videos are ALWAY educational, in some way. I'm not super into cacti and succulents but I still ate up those videos because I found them interesting and learned something. Such a great message to do what you love.

What a great tip about using that heat dish instead of a regular heater!! I have most of my plants in a corner that had tall windows on BOTH sides, so in the winter it gets MUCH colder in that area of the house. I know my plants need it to be a bit warmer, but didn't want to put a normal heater over there because I already struggle trying to keep the humidity above 35 this time of year😕 but that's the PERFECT solution!! It just hadn't crossed my mind to use one of those. Thanks! ❤

I find that if you soak the plant in water for about 15 min, before you try and remove it from the moss, its so much easier! Also, that little soak is not enough to hurt the plant as long as you don't leave it in there for longer than 15 min.

I submerge the entire root ball in a bowl or tub of tepid water and gentle massage and remove the moss while the plant is submerged in water !

Christine, thinking of Tucson being a vacation destination in 22. What time of year is the best time and what sights do you suggest?

If you completely submerge the roots and moss in water it allows the moss to soften up naturally breakaway from the roots

I’ve always enjoyed what you talk about, I always wondered what happened to your jewelry business?

One change I’ve noticed in you is seemingly more contentment in staying put- you haven’t talked about traveling for awhile. Is that more Covid related or are you less interested in roaming? I’ve been loving the plant content by the way. I’m light limited where I’m at so I’m crazy envious of your beautiful light where you are!!

Thank you so much Chelsea!! Yeah I've been in such a good place and feeling incredibly content. Deep-diving into plants was the best thing ever, it's been a huge part of that contentment. We still have a passion for travel and the lockdowns definitely put that on hold but we plan to get out and explore more this next year.

Does it really matter if you get all the moss off the roots? I've planted some without taking any of the moss off & not had problems of staying too moist or drying out too much. What am I missing?

To get the moss off, soak it for a bit before you go at er. It’s wayyyy easier 💚

Just spraying down with the water hose removes most if not all the moss with less damage than nitpicking the moss off

Love your videos! Great content! But I can’t help noticing the use of scissors for unboxing. I know plenty of us (including me) use this sometimes but it would be safer to use box cutters. It could be something you may want to consider-or not. We’re just really here mainly for the love of plants 😉
