To wake up next to her is a dream I watch her sleep as the gentle rays of the early morning light dance across her eye lids coaxing her to wake from her peaceful slumber. I touch her soft skin and stroke her perfect lines. The vessle this delicate creature has been givin is sublime. I brush the hair away from her calm and quiet face and take a moment to remember this place. As we hurl through the infinite and linger in this space. I know that in this moment i am happy and blessed with loves grace.

The line "In dreams there's a way to die" is so simple but yet so profound and powerful. My brother killed himself about 2 years ago and the only way I can be with him is in my dreams. It often feels like he didn't even exist, like he was just a far off whisper or a story I tell myself but when I dream about him it brings back the memories of how real he was and how immense an experience it was to be around him. It sure makes waking up and the next day difficult, I makes me feel what a big hole is in my life and just wish I could go back to dreaming

Your comment brought a tear to my eyes. I have had similar experiences. My cousin, who i was pretty close with, died in a car accident almost sixteen years ago. Every once in a while i have dreams about him. Just us guys hanging out in a bar or something (like we did when we were younger). Weird thing is that these dreams mostly occur in the weeks leading up to his birthday or the day that he died. Probably something subconscious, not sure. Can't really say anything that'll make you feel better except that i thank you for sharing that story. Made me think about my cousin in a good way.

Suicide is another form of murder. As human beings, we have a need to feel wanted and to feel like we belong. "Himself" is just a different way of saying himself in the context of society and the people around him, it is society and their environment that ultimately defines a person; if they are unable to sustain that definition then they are cast out. People are driven towards suicide because murder in itself is such a burden to the conscience that it prevents people from committing the act, but if they, as in a greater collective, are able to persuade an individual to take their own life, then they are blameless and are able to continue their cause.

I know I don't know you ,but I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother. your post brought me to tears. I have dreams like that about my pop pop. He's been dead ten years and it's very hard to get over it still gives me a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes just thinking about it so I completely understand where you're coming from

My dog Maxx died two years ago. I was listening to a Spotify playlist while I cried myself to sleep and this is the last song I remember hearing before I fell asleep. Every time I hear this song, I remember playing with him in the garden . I remember him cuddling me while I napped when I had serious lady problems. I remember him sleeping next to me for weeks after he accidentally bit me when he and our other dog got too into a play fight and he bit my wrist on accident. I forgive you, Maxx.

I lost my Momma January 12, 2015, and this song reminds me of all the things she’s missed….the birth of her 2nd and 3rd grandson’s and now she’ll miss her 2nd granddaughter’s birth in May. I would give anything to hug her and hear her say I love you just one more time.😔

Haunting... My mom died January 11, 2014 and I haven't been able to let her go, only because it hurts so much. When I heard this song I could feel angels surrounding my mom and take her to heaven. Yup. I watched Longmire all over again because it's been years since I've seen it. And then I'm like oh wow I remembered why i loved this show so much. Also had to look this song up. Hey Longmire fans I wish they would make a Longmire when he was a younger cop. We could see mistakes and choices he would've made that turned him into the Sheriff. I was recently asked, what it's like to lose one's wife. I guess, after a few years, it's not so much that you get over it, mostly you just get used to that missing piece. It's different when it's a friend, girlfriend, relatvive, so on. Those types of relationships are, by nature, absent of the promise of tomorrow. When you abruptly and unexpectedly lose that person you promised to keep safe, that kept you sane, you lose everything you expect could be, that you could be. There is no direction after that. Only what and where you have to be.
