I just realized, the new version ( same lyrics ) to me just sounds happier and I just realized that in this video this Nancy doesn't even smile as the new one Nancy smiles even when dying-
That's called not being able to deal with grief. I don't really know what stage she was on but even before it seems like denial. "His colors ought to show again-". I feel like she was probably in grief or denial. If don't know. The smile at the end looks like hysteria.
In the song the creator put colored lyrics wonder if that means smth but here are all the qords so far Colors ive lost myself memories color-coded by the love he gave to me ah his voice 2nd part -->
I had a theory about the first version, that Nancy was stitching Henry up due to her saying: "stations and a needle help me fix himself" and "making eyelids under the starlight". Someone replied saying that she could making a Henry doll. IN THIS VERSION SHE LITERALLY HOLDS A DOLL
I was gonna ask "who makes eyelids for a doll" but I guess it could be one of those weird dolls that closes its eyes when you lay it down and opens them when you pick it up that end up kinda half-drunk winking over the years
Kasane-P Your comment made me realize a pronoun change so I edited a comment I made, thanks for keeping me humble on that! I think I would have less problem with it if they kept the old and still presented the new. It shows growth, shows character, and since music is such a unique emotional experience for people, you might get attached to one differently than the other because of what’s changed or remained. Both are still good in their own ways, and I wish that was celebrated more on their channel! I was just glad I still had this version on my laptop to toss back up for people who enjoyed it as much as I did when it first came out.
@@akzringo2222 yeah, it would be nice if they did something like they did with The Chattering Lack Of Common Sense, where they made the original unlisted and then added a link to the description of the remake. also yeah im glad you had this version saved, i really love this one
@@akzringo2222 Late reply but I agree. I’m a Vocaloid producer myself and I know I’ll eventually cringe at my old work, I always keep it up to show progress. I do this mainly with art I made too. Art I had from back in 2019 sucks ass but I keep it to show the progress I made as an artist!
@@akzringo2222 completely agree! im working on my first vicaloid song rn and i know one day i wont like it, but that doesnt mean other people shouldnt be allowed to enjoy it!
why do i need a last name With all due respect to the original artist, they do seem to enjoy a revisionist view of their own personal history. I think preserving media and finding pieces of history that end up lost is important, even if it’s “small.” I get very attached to my music, and if it’s gone forever, I feel like I’m missing a piece of my own soul! Edited to reflect pronouns, have not been a part of this side of the Vocaloid fandom because I stay more on the Japanese side
Oh man, I wish this was me! This is by Ghost (Ghost-P), an earlier version of Housewife Radio they produced and then deleted before replacing it with the current version.
fairy fair ·w· I think there was an even earlier one, I believe! I’ve never seen it or had it surface yet, if it’s mirrored somewhere. Most people have encountered this one first, so I just left it as “original” for sake of search results.
i wouldnt say this version is better than the newer one, there are a lot of improvements in that one. but i still really like this one! the instrumental for this version is really cool!! they're like two different styles of music that fit the same song (if that makes sense)
I completely agree! I’m a big fan and very attached to my favorite Vocaloid songs, whenever they get taken down I’m always so upset. I think Ghost’s intentions with this one versus the new one is different, they appeal in a different way and both have things I like and don’t honestly. I love this fandom so much for how creative these artists are and they’re always improving!
This isn't the original housewife radio, there is one that is older than this one from 2014. This is the 2015 remake, which was replaced by the current one in 2016.
ngl this version sounds a lot more like Black and White's final. and also GHOST's old songs sometimes give off just overall old vocaloid vibes (like this one
0:57-1:36 Tbh best part Edit: just noticed the guitar at 2:14, sounds so good with the rest of the instrumental 🌌 Also, wanted to add that the instrumental is so much more detailed, love it ❤
This is actually the second version of the song, not the original - here's a reupload of the original if anyone's curious ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VEsn-HXaSwI.html
I think everyone else here disagrees with me, but I kinda prefer this version over the other one. The other one is kind of overwhelming, but this one kind of makes more… sense? I can focus a whole lot better with this one is all.
This one sounds more of a chaotic denial song whyle You forcé yourself to belive something You make yourself think The new one sounds like a full on mental turnoil, a breackdown, panick attack and oh good, your medicación is making You feel worse song
*I use a translation machine Both the new version and this version have their own good points and I really like them! ! (*´ω`*) It's very interesting how the lyrics and basic tune should be largely the same, yet they are like completely different songs... ٩(๑òωó๑)۶ Last but not least, thank you for re-uploading this song! I will continue to listen to both the latest version and this one!❤(ӦvӦ。)
I was there for the og upload of this and this is still the version that plays in my head when I try to think of it objectively ;w; the power of looping shit as a teenager
Definitely a few major differences. The words seem to flow into each other in the remaster, meanwhile this version has every word individually pronounced. The pitch is higher on this one too. Also, the "black and white" and the "Stitch, sew, cut, pull" parts seem to be a lot softer. Finally, the voice in this version is pretty shaky. Just my little observations! X3
Oh no, did it? I put up leaked footage from the new Pokémon remaster and I have been getting tons and tons of dumb comments on it since 🤦 Thanks for the heads up! I haven’t been around Ghost’s stuff in a few years now, but this little beat is still something I love of theirs.
I need a version of this with like. 80% Housewife Radio 2.0 (this version) but then the end is Thanks To You Song-era Housewife Radio because that ending hits SO DIFFERENT
0:32 - 2:27 I definitely like the tuning in these parts better than the new one but my favorite part of the new version doesn’t sound the best here ngl😭😭
