One of the things I love most about South Korean movies, is that other characters in the movie don't just become useless to show off the prowess of the main characters.
thats kinda one of the plot twists ;) I thought that 2: = this explains why the director would make good/normal characters appear to be bad guys and the other way around in the same movie
@@MaxDerp the kid is smart, genetics for intelligence is passed from parents or maybe her grandparents who knows, the mom's dad was a pretty smart guy. Other than that, her parents can teach her skills of being a good agent, her mom could teach her how to fight and her dad could teach her computer skills and espionage ways. I am not saying she will be an agent cos her parents are naturally agents but with the right training from both of them, she can be a great agent one day.
Most Korean films honestly hit way harder than Hollywood ones, the plots are so interesting ,I do love Korean movies way more than hollywood :) BTW keep up the good recaps!
Like his goofy face when he shows he hid the passenger list in his sock :D In addition in that scene he is ceeping his cool even with a gun on his back acting to look for the list.
Omg! I can't explain how much I really liked this movie plot lol its so funny and the right amount of action. It's similar to Spy Family, that new anime that is materializing atm. I know that it was initially either a manhwa or Manga. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was a manhwa cause they have been making so many good stories the last few years that I personally liked from those online web comic apps. There's so many good ones lol
@@koharumi1 oh! I'm not 100% sure tbh, but I don't think imo. There's a few 'family spy' type stories out there. But that would be kinda interesting too 🤔😇 if so, I'm not sure which one came out first, but I know that there's a few movies that are older that have similar themes in the movie, like parent spies while the kids don't know or just a couple that are spies while they don't know each other are spies themselves... And those came out way before any of these did; like Spy Kids, The Smiths, and then this one movie with Gal Gaddot and Isla Fisher? That's also a really good one Btw. In it; Isla fisher and her husband are normal people and meet Gal gaddot and her husband who are spies, and then they somehow find out etc 🙃 but totally worth watching. There's also a movie review about it too! Forgot the name though sorry 🤷
@@koharumi1 I don’t think anyone got the concept from the other. But if you want to know, the manga for Spy x Family was first published in 2019, and Okay Madam was released in 2020. They definitely don’t follow the same storyline though. Hope this helps!
Movie title is Okay Madam (2020)? OK. Added to my list! "Such unconditional love makes Mi-Young cry"- AI-narrator. It made me cry too. Such love is so hard to find, it's almost EXTINCT! I'm surprised Hyun-Min wasn't killed. This was a BEAUTIFUL action comedy movie. South Korean movie makers certainly know their onions, tomatoes, peppers & every other vegetable over there. RESPECT! GREAT movie recap"! YOU'RE ASTOUNDING! BEST REGARDS!
@@ottis1411 I know in the past there was no CGI so they made the stories better than the action and the film, like some of the old west movies or shows idk which in the night scene if you see shadows that means it was really day time instead of night time. :)
@@ottis1411 . Yep! You're SO RIGHT! The guys over at DUST here on RU-vid have proven that over & over again! LOW BUDGET but so much GREATER than Hollywood"! YOU'RE AWESOME! BEST REGARDS!
man tht movie jus hits DIFFERENT!! i went watch it right after this review, its🔥🔥🔥 and lets not forget to compliment his story telling skills. Keep up the good work, u gained a new supporter
It's a good movie, but can we please stop posting comments like this " We can all agree that they have never disappoint us with their content", I know it's a bot, so stop liking those comments,=.
I'm still quite new to Korean dramas like this, but I can already say, they have many excellent qualities. For one, the way each character is so fully fleshed out makes it feel so much more personal and the whole story feel more full.
this is so good I love these videos, keep it up! I always watch your videos when I want to watch a movie but don't want to spend the money since im broke lol
I still can't wrap my head when movies portray poor families with well maintained houses that are so packed with expensive stuff. At least show them living in some dilapidated dirty or messy house.
Gotta love South Korean films, they’re just about the right mix of fun, suspense, drama, action, comedy, and morals about family, friendship, loyalty and other virtues.
South Korean film and TV shows are so good. i really enjoy them. there’s one on Netflix i have to finish about a young woman who goes back in time to save the world 🗺 from the very machine that sent her back. it’s so good. the plots of some may be scifi or thriller, but they always have human characters with depth. great recap - thanks :) 🌱🌷🚴🏽♂️
Great characters, interesting plot, well integrated comedy. Holywood better step up their game instead of going for brand recognition and formulaic BS. Also what film is this? I think I wanna really watch this or at least have it ready to watch when I find someone willing
I think the best part of these videos aren't the recap itself but seeing what moments of jank surface in the script from grammatical aberrations to bizarre pronunciations like pronouncing "granddaughter" as "grand-after" which.. is valid but I lost it SO hard. Bless these channels.
