@@HappyGilmore-ep3iq i’m not sure where you got your information from according to your comment most single mothers don’t have a mother was never said above. I said most single moms don’t have a support system and I gave kudos to her mom for her support.
Her parents would have had had to raise her kid. She couldn't even take care of herself at that age. Hell, many teen moms don't even get to graduate high school.
I left an abusive marriage with 2 toddlers in tow. I raised my 2 sons as a single mother. One is an aerospace engineer and the other one is studying to be a neuroscientist. It was not a walk in the park, but I soldiered on through the difficulties. I thank God, The Almighty for all the blessings. I look at my sons with gratitude and humble pride.
Wow. Good for you! I also was a single Mom. I hated when experts quoted statistics of single parent children. I determined to raise my 2 children with a belief in God. They turned out very successful also .
Well Friend... That is the textbook-non book definition of Faith... It's impossible to see it❣️and remains elusive to those who find it difficult to logically understand that they also have been given a measure of faith, and all you need for it to grow is a grain...not even an entire seed. Just grain of mustard seed size faith and encouragement in the Lord Jesus Christ to grow... He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a grain of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20 - Are you willing to believe it for yourself, now that you have actually seen and heard it take place in another? I'm praying for you to take a grain of faith and try it for yourself 👑.
I did it! Pregnant at 18. I put myself through college while working. My parents gave me love and encouragement. I put my daughter through college. She’s now 38. I got married had my second daughter, got divorced. I found myself single again. She’s 22 and graduated on May 8th 2024 from college. I have on granddaughter age 13. My eldest daughter is expecting her 2nd child in November. I am 56. I look back on my journey without regret. I lived, loved and raised beautiful young and smart young ladies. You get out of life what effort you put into it! ❤❤️
@@cheflaco she a great mother of two children. That’s part of being a good wife. It’s crazy every time we support are woman here comes a hater, your insecurities are showing.
I had a friend who got pregnant at 14.. now she's an accountant. She was good kid that got side tracked..😢. Your current circumstance does not dictate your future.. Just work hard...
They told me the same thing i had my son he is 25 yrs old play College football major in Criminal Law became a COP and now just had his first baby boy...my second son is one of the highest rank TE in the nation as he plans to enter the NFL draft next season and i have a 6yr old ...who is healthy and thriving....Glory be TO GOD for all his mercy and love and protection💯💥
Omg this mom personality is so amazing. She radiates so much positivity and excitement that her kids are lucky to have such a good spirited mom with them
Her babies are going to make sure her retirement is blessed and fulffilled...already fulfilld her life. This young woman is wonderful and hardworking and a blessing...i pay her life is all the way up from here ....just wonderful...great job daughters! Your mom is truly EVERYTHING AND LIFE!HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO HER!
Daycare and her mother took care of her children while she worked. I’m glad that she appreciates her mother’s help, because teenagers should not be parents. After you’re educated, employed and can manage your life, 30 is the best age to have children. 👩🏽🦱🇺🇸
I was a teen mom at 16 grad from high n college despite all the bumps in the road . I was looked down on called names. I was told by my teacher i wasn't going to be anything . I graduated with a 4. 2 GPA, and my daughter walked with me to get that high school diploma. I applaud her for living her dreams and not believing what others had to say.
Wow...her girls are a blessing to themselves and to others. Mom, you did a wonderful job. She cracked me up with the "Thank you God for giving me better kids than you gave my mom".
I love this story for multiple reasons! Teenage pregnancy doesn’t mean that your world is over or your child’s and neither is a high school diploma and/or a college degree is the only way to succeed! Well done ladies!!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I'm so glad her mom was there for her and watched the kids for her to go to work and didn't just throw her away because she was a teen mom. Because that enabled her to give her daughters a great life, and now they're a doctor and in college. Love this for them. Rare story
Had a friend that got pregnant when we were 13, she got into a young mom program and graduated ahead of us is a nurse and her son is thriving. Straight A’s his step sibling and dad are great too. So happy to see. She didn’t have the best family life, she wanted better for her kid and she got it. So proud of you Camille and Nathan ❤️
This young lady had a tremendous support system. Kudos to her for learning and utilizing what that system had to offer. And believe it or not, a lot of young black single mothers has that kind of support. Its what they do with it thats important.
You are so fortunate to have a support system and a good example. Your daughters are blessed to have such as strong family. You didn't allow yourself make excuses to fail.
I did not receive my Masters until I was almost 45. I had an ex who left me to do everything for our child. My child is now off to one of the most amazing engineering schools in the country. I am standing on my own 2 feet. Congrats to her!
My mom had me at the age of 15. My grandmother,Nanny, was taking care of us and then my grandmother’s health started declining so my mom took care of us 💞 Whoever is supposed to be here will be here. No one can stop father God’s Will. My mom is now gone as of 2021 at the age of 71😔🙏🏽💝 Continued blessings to this beautiful family🙏🏽🎉🥰💐
Her mother took care of her child while she worked. I’m glad that she appreciates her mother’s help, because 14 is too young to be a parent. After you’re educated, employed and can manage your life, 30 is the best age to have children. 👩🏽🦱🇺🇸
She and her childern have accomplished more than couples who get married and with to have children. There is no blueprint for being a successful mother/father.
What a complete breath of fresh air this woman is. Not only has she raised phenomenal daughters, but she’s worked hard every step of the way. It’s fantastic that her family were able to help her, but that in no way detracts from the incredible job she herself has done! Congratulations on her business and all good wishes to her for the future.
She is amazing! It shows how pride, worth ethic, love & kindness is taught and how much our kids watch us. She definitely deserves to be proud of herself as well as her girls.
*I appreciate the news highlighting this story!! She made an errant/unideal situation work to the best of her abilities, for **_all_** parties. She trusted and had faith in herself, and the baby [who] she just knew would be special. Not everyone's path, of course, but I am SO pleased (and proud) that it worked for all of them❣ I especially appreciate the timing of this story, given the endless **_vitriol_** expressed in these same YT comment sections about single brown mothers. TFS, and continued/infinite blessings to her and fam.* 💖
I love her journey and how enthusiastic she is. I smiled along with her, through this entire interview. Well, her girls made me shed a tear or two, in the end. Mom, is an inspiration. Happy Mother’s Day everyone!
loved this its so sweet. mother was very vibrant and cheerful and her children carry the same personal. this is gods work in their lives the blessings 🙌
This is a wonderful and very inspirational story. Well done to Sherrel Lemon for working so hard to raise her daughters, despite being a teenage mother. Congratulations to both daughters for their achievements too.
Her priorities were her children. And it shows. I got pregnant at 17. Dropped out of school bc I was embarrassed. Our parents gave us a small loan to invest in a small business. 4 more kids followed. Thanks to the flexibility of our business we never had to count on anyone to raised our children. Everyone was impressed how I raised such wonderful well mannered children who ALL by the way graduated college and working to support themselves. From a mom who never finished high school
Inspirational young lady. A doctor and a college student and you look like a teenager! God bless you and your children, and your mom and sister!!! You've accomplished great things and will continue to be a prosperous and blessed young lady!!!❤🎉😊
This is an absolute good story for a Mother's Day. We all share the similar stories. I love it! Thank you for sharing and happy mother's day to all the mothers out there.
"Thankful, Grateful, Blessed"....a living example, not just a cliche! Continued blessings over this family! 🙏 This Mom and daughters message is for all young women: Determination..hard work..No excuses!
