Pilot here, thanks for doing audits at these facilities. A lot of these assholes are typical power trips with zero knowledge of rights or laws. I love airport audits. Really shows the ignorance around the industry.

I love it when security do a cam back - basically they are saying that their CCTV cameras are shit and they have to take a low res wide angle picture with their mobile phone where you end up being a few pixels.

Overall I would say that was a very positive interaction. It's very refreshing to see security informed on citizens rights and also be respectful at the same time. It would have been funny if you’d have told that female that you had just stopped by to thank the FAA for that “stellar” job of security they did on 9/11/01. Outstanding job. That’s back when they were actually responsible for security. We all saw how well that worked out.

I think it's a good thing auditors are getting noticed, or at least what you're doing is becoming recognizable to the people that know what you're doing. Hopefully the guy at the fence will educate the others on your behalf. You'll probably be the topic of a big debate at their lunch room table, and hopefully in the end they'll realize that they're still accountable to the people, even if they don't like it. We live about 5 miles from the FAA LA Center on the grounds of USAF Plant 42 here in Palmdale, CA. There is an air park with an SR71 and a YF12 on display. Also on display, the 747 that the space shuttle was mounted to when it used to land at Edwards AFB in Rosamond, and needed to be flown back to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

This is how they should go … every time. Nice guy like Milton the security guard comes and says 'hi' and tells you "Take care of yourself, buddy." I'm happy to see the occasional "right" video

Handled perfectly by the security people and employees, didn’t escalate it didn’t make a big deal, new the law knew what was going on found out what was going on and moved on. Nobody lost face nobody got nasty, and this guy will just go away with a camera and probably not return RV does eventually he’ll stop returning because he’ll find other places that are hostile and I’m noxious and don’t know the law. The gentleman with this RU-vid site is checking to see who is following the laws who knows constitution and it’s just doing a public service to make sure we keep our rights. I really like the way the employees handled themselves, didn’t act like they had something to hide were friendly and just moved on. You don’t have to be best buddies, but you also don’t have to be hostile and nobody wants. That’s the way things should be handled. This video videos like this should be shown by corporations to their place on how to handle things when someone is annoying you and you can’t really do anything about it even when you think you can. It would make a really good training videos for all employees especially security and management of companies how to handle things in an appropriate professional manner and some of these videos would also be good for people to see I have not to handle things because all it does is make them look bad. If it was my companies name I would want to look good in the public and not look like I have something to hide or look like a bully. I don’t care how big of a dentistry you are if you keep doing stuff you’re not supposed to Or it looks like you’re not on the up and up or you have a nasty attitude people are going to wonder why. Even if you are doing something you’re not supposed to have the company is you don’t give it away by being a bully are behaving badly. And if you are doing the right thing you want good public relations. And yes I don’t care about grammar when I write these things.

I've got a little experience with these people...1st...she was fast tracked into a supervisory position...ATC supervisors with experience and brains don't walk out to the fence to confront people...they call security...the last guy was cool and totally wanting to be involved in your cause...guard was cool also...great audit and the supervisor was only one that looked stupid...

I went into that building in the mid 90’s when working on a technology-related project proposal. Controllers were still using CRTs. Head controller, overseeing the others, said that air traffic would be safer if air traffic controllers could control of the planes. Pilots didn’t always follow their instructions. You could see lines of planes stretched out in all directions. Far more were heading to Dallas, not Houston.
