The Houthi group threatened Saudi Arabia and what it called the aggressor countries today, to launch painful strikes, coinciding with the group's announcement of preparing a long-term land plan and strategy against Israel and its loyalists in the region.
This came in a speech delivered by Houthi leader Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi, appointed by the group as Minister of Defense in the Houthi government, during a celebratory event for the group to graduate new military batches.
Al-Atifi said that the group stands today more than ever in high readiness and possesses all the factors of strength to confront all challenges and crises, adding that the group has prepared for a long-term confrontation against the Zionist entity and its supporters.
He added that the Houthis are continuing their efforts to develop a land strategy as they succeeded in the air and sea, and warned the aggressor countries against continuing to provoke the group's anger, threatening painful strikes.
He also warned against the consequences of following the plans of the United States and Britain to ignite sedition in Yemen, stressing that such moves may end in a disaster that befalls those countries.
Al-Aatifi added that the Houthi group now has the ability to deter and escalate at any moment, noting that all options are open if the threats against them continue. He stressed that the group is working to develop its military and strategic capabilities in line with developments in the region. He also stressed that external alliances will not protect the aggressor countries from the consequences of their continued provocations, and that the Houthis will continue to support resistance movements in the region, especially in Gaza.
