With a 3 second take off and no controller, this self tracking game changing drone is taking RU-vid by storm, with its multiple features I test it out to see if it’s all hype! Link: amzn.to/3OdeueR #HOVERAirX1 #SelfFlyingCamera #HoverX1
I absolutely don't need one of these but I want one. I haven't got a Dog, but could go out for a walk with this instead. Imagine the funny looks I'd get by calling it over.😂
Good review Matt! I tried mine on a 18-mile hike the other day. I’m very much about ease of deployment and convenience and it didn’t disappoint. I also did a walk through some woods on a windy path and no issues. I don’t think it can be compared to the cinematic drones as, like you said, it’s aimed at cyclists, walkers etc. it seems to have lots of versatility though. I’ve not tried manual yet as the presets are just so handy. Will have a look though. Definitely worth playing with settings for modes. I set up Follow mode on a long distance and it captured the area around me more which had added to my current edit. Nice one! ATB 👍
I gotta be honest, for ages I was utterly stunned by your apparent mastery of the drone. Flying along beside you in your boat, whizzing along slightly above and in front of you on your bike, hell that time you flew it into your tent really showed what incredible control you had. Then I found out it was a GoPro on a selfie stick with the stick removed via some sort of computer whiz-bangery! 😂
Dolly track only works if you are going straight. If you’re turning left or right, it will turn to tracking side for few seconds then lose you. 128gb will be better, 32gb kinda low in 2024.
Someone tested it skiing downhill, in follow mode. Couldn't follow the guy even in running speeds. He had to climb up to get the drone back. Lost track once again, but this time a snowboarder passed by the drone and it started following him downhill 😅 and he could get his drone back. Two other people proved that the drone just ignores pets running alone or walking behind you.
I mean, it's cool tech, for sure. When compared to the DJI Mini, at the same price point, the image quality just doesn't compare. I guess it depends on your end usage. Thanks for posting, I didn't even know this thing existed.@@AirbornePirates
