Hoverboard not charging? Green light instead of red? Low battery voltage? Maybe you could try this hack. Just be careful. And note that this solution might not work for you since you might have a different problem with your hoverboard
Very good explanation and it's working perfectly. Thank you very much Sir. I didn't cut the charger wire. I used 2 small wires and connected them directly in the plug charger and bypassed the battery for 2 min and inputed again as original. The charger came back on red charge. I didn't use the hoverboard since 1 year. I charged just 2 times so the hoverboard stayed new. But I forgot to recharge again before storing. So I suggest to anyone to never let the battery low a long time. Insure to recharge your battery before store during winter.
A massive thank you mate for this explanation and tutorial on how to solve this issue, I tried it 1st time the bypass I didn't have to do for long as I new battery had charge moments later my battery started to charge and work again, a massive thank you again
YOUR ARE A KING... THANK YOU..I ONLY HAD TO DO THE BYPASS CHARGING FOR FIVE MINUTES AND PLUGGED THE BATTERY BACK IN AND ITS CHARGING WITH OUT THE BYPASS NOW THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Thank you very much! It's fix my battery. I tried to short before but it was unseccesful because I didn't keep if longer. When I follow your video my battery first blink red and after about 1 min the light was read. Now charging without any problem. To short I use a wire and conected - to the + like you when charger was connected
I did this and I revived a dead 36v battery pack. Now my question is the battery on B- and the positive terminal on the xt60 connector shows 40volts but when I test the voltage at the connector it reads 25 volts. I think something is wrong with the BMS and I have an extra one as someone gave me two hover boards with dead batteries for free. Any ideas?
@@tipsfeed4707 just did it,its charging now! works :D EDIT: attention: battery made electrical noise at first minutes of charging, like csgo bomb beep faster and faster. then it stopped and did some different noise klaklaklak and then it stopped all noise and continue charging.
My brand new hoverboard run time is around 25 minutes then it cut off power of board. At full charge it was around 41.5 V and after 25 minutes the battery voltage was only 37.8 V for cut off. Why is the voltage still so high and already there was a cut off the power? At wat voltage should the board switch off? Any suggestions?
I tried to by passed but charger light still green. I bought new charger but still green while charge. Does it mean battery died ? I tested battery it 22.1v . Any ideas about that? Thank.
Hi I followed same steps. When short it, can see red light on the charger. But, as soon as I disconnect, it is turning back to green. How long do I have to hold it for? Tried holding it for 2 mins
I did a variation I just held a bridge wire between the earth into the board and the battery minus for a while and held it there for a few minutes then when took off the bridge it kept charging must have been just enough to fool the system
in my case it became red for 5 minutes then again green. The hoverboard now has 2 bars so at least it powers up but the charger is still giving me a green light so I suppose it's not charging anything...
I think I'm just going to replace all those cells with high-capacity cells, that way I get more than twelve miles out of it I can double it and maybe twenty-four more
