This is a unusual video of the Solent Flyer hovercraft at Ryde on the Isle of Wight. I originally had far more footage, and heavily edited this video which comprises multiple segments.
Do you know why it was having difficulties? What with that tow rope it appears like it was having trouble with manoeuvrability. I'm still not convinced these new GriffonHoverwork 12000td's are as manoeuvrable as Hovertravel's old AP188/100's. Yes the new craft have the bow roof fans but the AP's bow thrusters seemed far more effective.
