Ye Im kinda sad all his moves got to do with the spear, I mean the dash, pumping and flying is cool but other than that they are all similar and kinda the same thing. Someone said they added him bcuz while he was supposed to be an enemy in a mode, he ended up being polished as much as a character so they added him.. so if that’s true that might explain the moves being all similar but still, he should get a bit more moves maybe with the sugar on his head or using his own skin(?)
@@BereliYusuf i think it's supposed to be sort of a beginner character (?) because his moveset is very intuitive and he doesn't have any projectile or cooldown move so I'm guessing that's because they wanted a more accessible and easy to make character? At least that's what I suppose they were thinking and I think it's fine overall.

I think he just meant he didn't take them seriously because they look very cartoony and silly on the outside. He also said he never watched adventure time so he wouldn't know anything about them. I don't think he literally meant finn and jake are a joke

I think I was low-key Smash-braining since I'm very used to seeing someone like Kirby, Sonic, Pac-Man, etc. next to a Fire Emblem character, Street Fighter character or goddamn Sephiroth. I can understand why someone who hasn't seen Adventure Time might see them as jokey, silly characters
it was entirely on purpose that banana guard was a bad pick. It was to get people talking about the game because of how people love to spread anger, and once banana guard hate had everyone looking at multiversus they revealed Jason voorhees and revived themself again
The game is a live service game so characters will keep being added. Banana guard being a character was because they already had assets and skills for him before so it’s more of a for fun so don’t worry too much
@@just_an_elliI don't know why Finn and Jake would be considered "joke" characters, they have goofy personalities but are extremely capable of fighting within the show. Banana Guard is a joke character because the devs took a background character known for being incompetent at... Everything, really, and gave them a full moveset
Is this actually a character? Like out of all WB ip they go with this dude? Like I’m here for it ig but there’s literally better characters in the Adventure Time world they could’ve gone with like Ice King or Marceline 😭
@@unrighteous8745 in open beta the characters had a red outline and you have a blue outline... and same goes for any other platform fighter where nobody has outlines at all...
They didn’t change some of the issues I had with the game. Like put the damage bar and cooldowns at the top or bottom of the screen and not on top of the character so it doesn’t get in the way and it’s easier to read on the side.

This character looks actually unplayable in a real 1v1 lol, I was hoping he'd have a bad moveset but with at least some very specific gimmick like some joke characters have, but nah he just looks boring and annoying to play :(
Thank god a slot was wasted on this "joke character" Animainiacs couldve been the joke character or literally anyone else who has an actual name Even Courage is a joke character if hes in a fighting game
I think a joke character should be unexpected or out of place so animaniacs or courage wouldnt fit imo. I do think the banana wasnt a great choice though.
@@robinsr4745I think as a tutorial beginner character he's fine but at the same time probably could've got a different person From what I've heard he can actually be pretty busted once you learn him but I think it's more to do with his hitbox
I mean not really, sure could've been a better choice but the character slots aren't limited and he was mainly there to be a tutorial beginner guy, plus apparently when you actually know how to play him he can be pretty busted I think releasing him as the relaunch day 1 character would've been better than doing it throughout the season
This is the most unnecessarily boring character in the game. This game being so much slower than it used to be just makes it look like the banana is even worse than he might be
