It depends a lot on the micros you are using. Most micros need much less water than a few years ago as they have changed dramatically. It is often best to swamp them with water for 30-40 seconds max, and then drain off immediately and leave to soak for 30 minutes. Then if necessary you can dampen down a bit more as required. You can always add more water, but add leave them in water too long initially and it can destroy them. Hope this helps.
