I grown these squash, eat when they are young and use the fiber for kitchen sponge and bathroom skin rub, just wet it and they become soft to the skin but tough on food on your dinner dishes, they also last a long time, even longer than some plastic sponges and dry quickly over night since easy airflow, that reduce bacterial grow.

Amazon Luffa gourd seeds, now north America is in springtime, time to grow them. You can eat the fruit when young and soft, too.
