it was a great album that needed a dre and eminem stimulus with snoop and nate dogg as features. almost as if half is album leaked in ny and no one gave a shit until he stole lyrics from lloyd banks to make in da club.
@@shogunassasin69 Just admit you haven't seen any footage of the concerts. O boy ain't that good but the fans love him, then Busta comes out and shit takes off.
@@andremiller1566 bro I’ve been to 50 concerts and they sellout. Fif doing arenas while Bus doing small concert venues. Fif killing Wayne who’s supposed to be a juggernaut in the game. Wayne’s doing small concert venues like Radius in Chicago. You may think he’s trash live but millions who bought tickets and went to shows say otherwise. You’re in a small gated community bro lol
@@andremiller1566 i literally just saw him last week bud. It was amazing. I love busta but when he came out all the songs he played were wack and nobody even cheered. Idk but maybe 50 stepped his game up but I put it up there in one favorite concerts of all time and I’ve seen a lot of ppl live!
50 became a successful mogul branching out into many different businesses. He’s been a hustler all his life so making money comes natural to him. Had one of the greatest runs in the early 2000’s era of Hip-Hop, deserves all the accolades 👏🏼
I was in senior secondary school in south south of Nigeria when GRODT dropped...it was like a tidal wave...boys even began to dress like him and put on mock up bulletproof vest.
I never knew how disloyal I was until I heard Back Down the first time, cause I went from being a Ja Rule fan to copping G-Unit merch like THAT! 😂 😂 😂 😂
Stop it, 50 was a legend before he signed with Eminem, 50 never needed them, he had Jam master jay, Nas, kid kapri, track masters, havoc with him before Eminem, and Em never had nobody before Dre
@@ducatarina If JMJ was still alive things would’ve been a lot different for 50 and who knows how ue would’ve turned out, either way him signing with Dre and Em was a real win win. Things might’ve been different for 50 yet things going on because of Irv Gotti and Ja trying to blackball him from getting a deal with any label as they made sure of it yet Eminem and Dre signing 50 is what put Irv and Ja in their place. Come on you gonna say he didn’t need them? Look how great things turned out for him as he even knows he wouldn’t be where he’s at as he’s shown Em nothing but loyalty after all these years as the same goes for Em being loyal to Dre as he’s still connected with Aftermath.
@@ducatarina I understand but still you think he didn’t need them even if it things did work out with Jam Master Jay if he were alive 50 probably wouldn’t have gotten the recognition he would’ve gotten that he has now. Dr. Dre and Eminem were both the keys and tools for him to rise to stardom, as he was able make it to the top. How many do you think are bumping 50’s underground stuff? And knowing Eminem heard it also shows why he and Dre signed him knowing they knew 50 had a lot of potential and Get Rich or Die Tryin’ being one of the best rap albums around is all because of them
@@ducatarinaDoes not alternate the factuals that Pre Em, Dre, And Lovine 50 was only really big in New York City, Yonkers, Mount Vernon, And other cities in New York State and small parts of Texas like Houston with his work with Bun B And Pimp C and in Louisiana in New Orleans with stuff with Master P he did not become a nationally known artist until the deal with Marshall, Andre, And Jimmy L though and later globally known because of them yeah.
@@better-dayz-r-ahead doesn’t matter bro. You’re not listening. Dudes wanted to be 50. No man wants to be drake. 50 had dudes working out and other things. Drake has no one doing anything. That means a lot. 50 made stars off of him being hot. Drake never made his signees stars. 50 was bigger than drake.
@@better-dayz-r-ahead drake also doesn’t have two diamond albums. You can say what you want but people were more engaged with 50 than drake. I’m speaking facts you’re talking about lifetime achievements over 13 years of selling albums for drake. Add all his albums up and he still didn’t sell more albums than 50 lol
@@laugh-cry-n-think_ Dude you deserve a punch for comparing Drake to 50 how can you compare a youtube artist with 50 ? he had 7 years of run 2003-2010, his run ended in 2010 with the invitation tour
@@better-dayz-r-ahead This is a fact in what world fool ? Drake never sold records who went to the stores to buy his CDs? he is from the Era of youtube, he only has views and streams, Get rich or die tryin sold 13 million in 1 year world wide and 8 million in the US 20 million overall, Massacre sold 5 million in the US and 9 million worldwide 14 million overall and it doesn't end here. In Da Club is the most listened song in the history of radio above Thriller and you have the guts to came here and talk about singles, you think that Drake and his Pop shit is more classic than number 1 hits like PIMP, 21 Questions, Candy Shop, Just a Lil Bit ? Drake's best selling album was Take Care which has mediocre sells and it's not a classic lol fool CAN sold 262,000 UK sold 400,450 US sold 2,338,000 😂😂😂
You should definitely do a break down on a rapper nobody knows about to bring attention to them, for example K-rino from Houston. He's been rapping 40 years, best stories ever, 60 albums and is called the goat by scarface but nobody knows who he is....that's that real
Tupac talked about E-40 who is from Cali and no one talks about him either. It’s aggravating…the bay love him more than Jay-z and he’s been rapping since the 80s/90s
Massacre and Power of the dollar and Get rich or die tryin soundtrack are better than GRODT those albums has songs to put in the Top 5 and Top 10 best 50 songs and even best rap songs of all time
I think it's by default because of how damn good Get Rich was. The Massacre is B+ album which is great! Get Rich or Die Trying is the upper 1% of all A+ or S tier rap albums. The gap is huge not because Massacre isn't great but because how much better Get Rich is as a whole.
I remember everyone and their momma rapping the lyrics of in da club everywhere I went, and this is before I had heard the song myself. Once I heard it, i went straight to limewire! 😅. Until I got the CD. (Man I miss album releases where you were so excited going to the store to buy a cd, then sitting in the parking lot bumping new music) 😭
@@Brian00007 dude who made the video literally asked "what is your favorite album of all time, is it thriller?" And why are you questioning what I chose to comment via my own phone goddamnit
@tjmirez7556 He got rich based on him getting shot. This is why he is washed up now. These rappers got you thinking they the only millionaires and your only hero Goofy 😂😂😂
You have no clue what you are talking about lol if it wasn’t for 50 we would never know who the Game was . The Game was gonna get dropped from Aftermath till 50 had Game join G unit gave the game How we do and hate it or love it and few other tracks . The Game is a snake
Definitely a classic album and Flesh Of My Flesh classic album as well but I wouldn’t say those albums are better then GRODT or The Massacre and I’m a huge DMX fan.
