Great things can be achieved when people are united. Another group of 70 Kenyans have a similar project in NC. If only such groups can exchange ideas on best practices and challenges sky is the limit.

Bravo Lone Oaks community in Texas. Very ambitious project with 39 acres (16 hectares roughly). Working together always makes everyone successful. Am sure many of you would prefer to do the same in your home countries but probably experiencing issues as all diasporas on investing in your respective home countries, with corruption, taxes, delays, etc.,. Reading about Texas in America, it is a big State with lots of land.

Huyu msee simuelewi. On a different interview na Iko Nini podcast, a month ago, on the same site, he said the land is 123 acres na eti ni yake. Hapa he says 39 acres na ni ya Kenyans kadha. Red flag if you ask me.

Alafu hapo kwa math he said $8000 so in ksh is around 1.4M,niaje tena inakua 1.6M usd?

@gracenjambi5574 I think he means $8,000 per lot. So, 39 acres possibly created 75 lots (ama plots); bringing the total to 1.4 million. Alafu hizo extras like taxes, professional fees etc. uki-add inafika hiyo 1.6 M.

With the revenue acquired from US currency, the foreign exchange rate will increase exponentially for them in their country. It's wise investing. If the US dollar doesn't plummet thanks to our absent minded leader.

@InT3graTi-Of-Pur3InH3arT In Kenya, nothing goes through without bribes. If you can't give certain politicians or civil servants money, they will make sure the project doesn't see the light of day. It's not about the investors but rather the business environment of our country.
