It certainly changes the weight of your pourse. Other then that, there are cheaper alternatives who furthermore do actually say what and how much they contain. How can he say it contains high value nutrition when he does not even know how much of each ingridient is in there? Answer: Its only about the money.
If someone is eating a crappy diet to start with, I imagine something like this would be helpful. Seems odd that someone as healthy as you would feel anything. I like that you say it's not really necessary when you can just eat good food. Green leafy vegetables are one of the most important foods to eat regularly and often. I try for three servings a day. I do like the idea of travel packs though for when on the road.
I dont mean this to be incendiary, but might such dramtic positive resuls in a fit young man be evidence of an obvious nutritional deficit......a deficit that was perhaps the predictable result of a solely plant based diet?
I feel like I have more energy. I don't eat healthily at all, so It's definitely filling in some gaps. If you eat well at all, it's probably not worth it
Unsponsored! I paid my own money for this. I do mention at the end that I just stick to the travel packs because I can’t afford the daily scoop, but if I could afford it I personally think it’s worth it based on my experience.
I noticed I said that in editing 😂 I usually get one per season or so, and have taken Athletic Greens since ending this experiment. So when I said that I think I had that extended time period in my head. But it was too awkward a cut to take out so I just rolled with it lol
The information in the video is very useful and helpful! Thanks for your honest opinion! If I was to purchase this, it would be the travel packs for those extra nutritional boost scenarios like traveling.
Wow! That airport looks like LGA. Thanks for that, and for the review. I don’t travel that much (anymore) but when I do, this is something that I’m willing to try.
@@theplantbasedteacher I like your way of saying it: I feel better, I can't quantify truly and I just feel better. So there. I feel better, I can afford it. I'm doing it.
I don't do a plant based diet but a lot of protein so I used this at 430am before I worked out. I wasn't strict on my diet the first half of the first week but noticed a huge difference. I decided to weigh and had lost 8.5 pounds the first week. As for price, its cheaper than having a soda and donut for breakfast!
Thx for saying that about the soda and donut! XLNT point. I've got 4 senior citizens starting on it & they'll appreciate that factoid, although none are worried about the price since they saw what it does for me.
Wow, If an overpriced “greens” product with a proprietary blend, Worked that well for you, Then you’d really like a product with verified efficacious doses at half the price.
Hmm, sounds like your hiking buddies might need athletic greens..........Will you be trying other alternatives in the future for the benefit of our education?
No single green powder comes close. AG1 is at the top of its class as a standalone supplement product, and drives the price accordingly. Until something comes close, people will continue to pay the premium.
Hey I just started taking AG1 and so far I really like it. Gives me tons of energy and I feel so much better/cleaner everyday. It is a little pricey but I think it’s worth it tbh. Also I wanna ask if you ever tried jocko greens? I hear that’s another good green juice powder to try ??
Thanks for sharing! I agree, I also feel better with it, especially over time. I haven't tried Jocko Greens yet! What do you think their angle/appeal is? Might be something I test out in the future! Thanks for watching, appreciate it!
@@theplantbasedteacher I think it’s mostly on taste and how it combines both fruits and veggie supplements. They say it’s also very transparent about all the ingredients in there. I’m getting mine later today to try out so I’ll let you know. I still use AG1 in mornings tho. I just like keeping an open mind. I’m looking to look/feel my best while also dropping a few pounds and getting shredded 💪
@@tatemilligan1145 Very interesting! I'm checking them out now. Much cheaper than AG1 I see. Maybe I'll do a comparison down the line. If you think about it it'd be great to hear about your experience with them. That's an awesome goal too! I wish you the best of luck on it. If you'd find it helpful, I have a guide on the principles of building muscle on a plant-based diet I can send your way. Tips, recipes, meal plan, etc. Totally free, no worries. If you'd like it just shoot me an email peter@plantbasedteacher.com and I can send one over to you!
It does not taste good unless the water is cold (and some may not like the taste at all), not every ingredient is in the proper dose, and the price is pretty steep for a daily-use item!
It has caffeine! Thats why you feel like that. Lol They try to fool people and people think they're instantly getting healthier when they're just buzzing on caffeine. You're not jittery because its not that much caffeine cocoa extract and green tea leaves have caffeine.
Really? It is Goldilocks for me: makes things go "just right." I had forgotten what normal was like, but it's no muss, no fuss. Save $ on t. paper. It took me 1 week to acquire the taste for it. Now I like it. With water and water spiked with a squirt of ginger paste. Also? Maybe try apple cider vinegar (after you read about it) cuz it's so healing for the overall gut situation. (Separate from the AG1!) Good wishes to you!
I really can’t do AG1 the gritty texture kills me. The cold water doesn’t enhance the flavour it reduces it. I am trying to figure out ways to get it down because I’m sure it’s good for me because I don’t always hit all of my serves of veggies & so on. Appreciate the review.
Thanks for sharing! I'm sure the taste/texture isn't for everyone. Personally I've found it better than some other "green drinks" in the past, but it all comes down to preference. Have you tried in smoothies, perhaps? That may mask some of the taste/texture for you!
