i am in the midst of attempting this myself. on my first attempt, i gathered two spools and found the blueprint before dying to a wolf attack. on my second attempt, i was killed by a polar bear after i gathered the spools and the blueprint and forgot about the keycard and was travelling from the oil rig to the submarine. now im about 6 hours into my third attempt. ive travelled to the sub and gotten my keycard, and collected a full nbc suit as well as two spools. all i need is the blue spool and the blueprint, i believe. rewatching this run has inspired me, im gonna make it this time. im playing on a fairly quiet server, with extra hardcore environmental mods to make up for the lower player count. so i dont even have to deal with as many fights as you do lol. if you can do it with all these fights, i can do it with minimal pvp. you got me feeling good about the potential of my mosin lol
