I've been using black and white marble notebooks 📓 to journal since the late 90s. I still keep journals still this day. I never felt the need to buy those expensive notebooks/planners. No harm if you do, just never saw the appeal.
Thanks for your video 👍. I am so tired of videos on how to use fancy and expensive planners. I myself use a USD1 cute monthly spread planner each year and use a 70 cent catch all notebook to jot down ideas which worked well for me. Glad RU-vid recommended yr video to me 😊
Thanks for the video. I have a small customer made notebook as part of my EDC (every day carry) which I then transfer the relevant information to my larger composition notebook. A notebook is a great tool to have on this chaotic journey called life. Happy new year.
This is awesome but I am wondering if a standard composition notebook has 100 pages, how do you have enough pages for 3 months of daily, plus monthly/weekly & random notes?
Great question, Alana! So I use the front and back of each page, so I get 200 pages out of each notebook. Right now, we are more than 2/3 of the way through Quarter 1 and I hit page 100 yesterday of the notebook yesterday. To be totally transparent, I don't typically do daily pages on the weekend (prefer those to be unstructured). There was one quarter where I ran out of room (in the past 7 years!) and I just got another notebook and labeled it as Quarter 1, Notebook B. I hope that helps!
❤i love this. I've been using a ring binder with refill paper and I cut the holes so that I can move pages around easily. This has been the best format! I've tried everything and I just love the customization of a blank notebook. I love that you are using TRULY AFFORDABLE items! Thank you for this video! Just wondering when you are reading a book and taking notes and doing daily pages and weekly planning, how do you make sure you have enough pages for notes and how do you organize your little jotted notes? This was the biggest problem i had with the bullet journal and"collections". I didn't have enough for a collection but didn't know how to categorize certain things. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Again, thank you for this video!
Very organized method. Everyone has their own method, and this is a good recommendation. I tried a "bullet Journal" and it was just too much maintenance. I do find keeping a Commonplace Notebook very helpful though.
