Looking into this myself a while ago made me realise how much junk customers have to pay for just for it to be thrown away. Some of the nicer boxes with magnetic lids go for more than you realise just to be thrown in the bin.
Knife/box maker extraordinaire!!! You made what I thought would be a a basic video interesting, glad you are busy still in the scheme of things 🥒🔪 Looking forward to the future videos 👌🏽
Wait a tic. I ordered a Ti Blue Surgeon. And I live in Canada. Keanu f*ing Reeves that could be my knife!! Ordering from a knife maker on RU-vid is cool.
It’s out for delivery today! Not bad time to wait considering Australia to British Columbia. This Surgeon is going to be my new leather crafting blade.
Do the medicus..,. Like a surgeon but crossed with tanto style... remember your video about custom and finished blades and you had 2 little tantos that you said when you blow off steam you make More non ordered knives... those ones... m3dicus.... the surgeon and infernum had babies...
Cool vid. Good to see the behind the scenes stuff. I hear your about the frustration with coatings. Just wish the coaters would give enough of a f... *squeak* ....ck to inspeck their work. If there's a problem, don't pass it off to you/me to then have to go back to them and complain. Waste of our valuable time and makes them look lazy and unprofessional. Congrats to the fellow Canuck getting that blade!
Okay so I am a Brit who lives in Canada. One of the things I love about Canada is they don’t equate knife ownership as being inherently nefarious, like they do in the U.K. where if you own a knife you’re automatically a lunatic it seems 😂. Anyway long way round to asking this question Dom, have you shipped any knives to the U.K recently? And was it a total hassle? BTW wasn’t a boring video, was actually a topic that often gets overlooked👍👊
haha yeah its a simliar mindset here in melbourne sometimes. I ship to the UK all the time, never had an issue. The only difficult places to ship too are China and army bases
I watch lots of knife channels.. lots of makers.. not matter what every time I see you you look dirty and exhausted... a proper worker.. my experience of Australians is in general they are more about having a laugh than hard word. Not so much in your case..... no offence aussies
i would suggest asking your husband or boyfriend about alternates to bubble wrap. or your husband's boyfriend or your boyfriend's husband. in that order. hahhaaa. keep up the good work.
