Thanks 😊 I'm happy to hear your message! I'm studying hard to become an English teacher like you at college. You were a very good teacher for us. It is not only grammar that I learned from you by no means. (Do you notice who I am 🙃) Take care of yourself ♥️ I'll be in touch soon.
Aki learn English cause it looked cool *Meanwhile me learn English cause everyone around speak English and I don't have choices so learn it so I can understand what they
Aki, when I was in Japan in 2016, I had a hard time communicating with them in SIMPLE English. I had the impression that Japanese people are not good in mastering English. You have proven me wrong. With the right attitude, interest and determination; we can be good in whatever interests us. If you do go back to Japan one fine day to be an English teacher all over again, I am sure you will inspire your students to master the English language. - From a Malaysian English teacher.
In Japan they don't have much chance to practise speaking English. Even here in Malaysia many will face difficulties with their English if they don't practise regularly. And worse we tolerate broken English without making an effort to correct it.
@@mojaff3085 I do correct broken English. Whenever I read notices in broken English, pasted on the notice board at the place where I live, I take out my red ink pen and start correcting. I make sure nobody is looking. I cannot stand others reading it and thinking it is correct English, thus in the process, indirectly, learning broken English. Once a teacher, always a teacher. 😅
Yes, most east asian countries or territories do have english subject in their education. Japan korea china hong kong and taiwan. However due to the homogenous society composition, speaking english to another person or in group setting is very difficult and often or not, you might be outcasted of being arrogant or showing off or just disrespecting your own language in your own country. I do know many east asians can understand good level of english language but they just lack of the spoken part.
@@mojaff3085 i would say, tolerate broken english is better than no english at all. Its a good start. Many malaysians still can go around daily lives with one or just two main languages without the need to master the 3rd. But we are just blessed with the notion that nobody will look at you indifferently if you speak other language than your mother tongue with your contact in public place.
Time moves so fast, it's already 3 year at Malaysia.i still remember when u are still at Japan until now wow, also ur video really another level really good job aki-san👍😀

Quality video like this always get overlook by those fake reaction videos about malaysia on youtube. Which say a lot about the views you get. Idk why most of your video doesn't blow up. This is really inspiring and i hope you will get better results soon.
Really inspiring story! You had a great teacher who inspired you to try out things that probably most Japanese wouldn't do and you in turn are leading by example on how one should live life fullest! Glad you are enjoying Malaysia and looking forward to more videos!
Sugoii Aki san 👍🏻👍🏻 .. Its an inspirational speech .. Its true , we need to do the best in whatever we do .. dont regret if u always changing a career , because we learn from experience .. Thats how life is . Ganbatte ne 😊
That's is really inspiring, thank you ☺️ I also amazed toward myself that I am able to finish watching your 9 minutes talking video without being boring when I usually skip fanmade pv or mv that are over 5 minutes 😂
I enjoy watching your video in Malaysia while i'm a Malaysian living in Japan. I enjoy photography / videography as much as you do and I hope I can do this for a full time. U inspire and motivate me to get out and create while enjoying life.
It is true that life will take u where u ended up. Sometimes we planned but preordained destiny has taken u there. Well said Aki, wherever life takea u, just do your job as best posible that u can do. .. i myself was an engineer after studying really hard in UK for years, then worked in Petronas and after I quit being an engineer of 11 years, I teach little kids in London read arabic letters and reading Quran, came back, wrote children storybooks, then learn to build my own house (project management) . Life will take u many places, enjoy and do your best in everything. You are young , the world is wating. Find your wisdom and inspire future generation. Good luck.
Aki-San, I stumbled upon your youtube video from RU-vid random's recommendation one day and read your Video Title "My New House Tour. I'm back in Malaysia" Made me wonder why would a Japanese embrace a foreign country like his native one. After that, one leading to more of your RU-vid work and found that you're pretty "real" in your comments and opinions especially the part which compare Japanese & Malaysia working culture and lifestyles. I've happily subscribed to your channel and I look forward to more good and interesting productions from you Aki-San. PS: I was also a Mombusho student being sent to Hiro-Dai in '95 because of the long time lapsed, I did not get to use Japanese language much in early years, I had dan-dan forgotten it. Your mixed of using Japanese and proficient English for your RU-vid serve as a great platform for me to listen to Japanese more in a fun and applicable way. I enjoy your explorations and thanks for promoting my country too. Gambatte ne Aki-San!
Aki, I enjoy your videos very much. This one is very special. I enjoyed your personal history and your honesty. Much happiness and success! Daniel in NYC.
Nice! I think we can make an inspirational movie out of your life story. Need to add some romance and conflicts (being stuck here during the pandemic is a good start).
I feel Aki-san is like Chris from Abroad in Japan, since he is a teacher in Japan and then become a film maker by making RU-vid his full-time and promote Japan tourism
Aki-san, that was very moving. Much respect. Anyway, I was thinking. You're already a filmmaker, but the journey is truly long. Why don't you enrol in a proper filmmaking course, and go into the deeps of the art? I recommend Multimedia University because they're very tight with the industry, with many of their lecturers being filmmakers themselves. Also, they're moving their filmmaking faculty from Johor to Cyberjaya, so you get to mix with more filmmakers. Even better, Cyberjaya is home to another faculty which trains animators and special effects technicians, so who knows how far you can take your passion. All the best, Aki-san. I'm subbed, so I look forward to your growth😀
Whatever you do, never ever think about "give up" . Trust yourself, you can do more than this. Be patience and always remember that you can do it. "Aku boleh!" keep tht in mind
Hello aki its a good thing you choose malaysian. And well as we malaysian welcomes everyone who can live here and blend well with us,and infact we do speak English everywhere ever since when we in school, and now even you working in private sector or government we use a lot of English languages for work, for me I've never bee abroad country🤭😅😅 but what's makes me good at English is Our school teacher and self train writing and speaking everyday but of course we don't forget our own malay languages 😅👍👍
Actually as far as South East Asia Countries go, Singapore is a better place to learn, use and improve your english, provided you dont pick up the local slangs
How in the world my search for ボボイボーイ(Boboiboy), led me to Aki's video? Still, it's interesting to know you were an English teacher before you came to Malaysia. I kind of want to know what was your best and worst experiences while working as a teacher, though.
Aki-san is a clever and adventurous person tht like to try new things and gain experiences.... Wow you decided to be a teacher instead of doctor because of English teacher. He must impressed you so much. I suggest you find new job in Singapore in future. I visited there before it's really fantastic. I don't think you would have any problem finding job there
Aki my question for you from a malaysian like me "Do you have fun in Malaysia ?" "Do you feel happy being here ?" "Do you feel like its good working here in Malaysia?"
アキさん、教えてください。 How much do you charge when you first making video for companies? I have an upcoming opportunity but I am not sure how much I should quote.
