Could do a video on your set up as a LTD company? Would like to hear your thoughts i.e. paying yourself dividends to stay under tax bracket or keeping all the money in your business account.

I'm trying to find a side hustle that requires minimal effort due to being a working mum. So far I've started my investment journey this year (a little bit late at age 30), the property we currently live in is going to be our future rental income property. Just struggling to find a side hustle that suits me :(
It can be difficult, I’d definitely try and find something that’s online focused so you can still have as much free time as possible to work/look after kids etc.. I had a mentor once who said to write a list of things you’re good at, then write a list of all of the interests you have, then figure out which of those interests tie in nicely to the skills you have, then focus on the ones which you can monetise and scale. That could be an exercise worthwhile ☺️
Yeah under a LTD co, I’ll start making videos on the BTL and all the back end stuff that’s gone on once I’ve completed on it, should be within the next 4 weeks or so!
Been following for years and love your content, I currently save most my money into a cash isa as think we want to move home in year or two, once we move I I will put majority of money into s&s isa. Still can't decide if to go with acc or dist, wanting a small 4-5 portfolio for global coverage, currently thinking 60 % s&p ,8% ftse 100 and 250, 16% developed world and 16% emerging markets. Any advice welcome
I work 7-3 Monday to Friday and then some Saturdays and I think if I do any over time then I’ll add that extra into my investments I started my own dividend journey a few months ago, it’s not a impressive amount but I’m getting around £3 a month at the moment Then I do RU-vid aswell and that’s around £60 a month So I’m slowly getting there I’m 25
@@DougIIGB if I’m honest I don’t know enough about them as an investment opportunity. I guess it’s a case that a reg is as valuable as the price somebody is prepared to pay for it, I’ve never really looked into them before though so can’t really say! I think I’ll just stick to equities and property 👌🏼

If one was living paycheque to paycheque; does that mean you would need to save a years wages in cash? That seems like massive emergency fund being eaten up by inflation?!? For most people that would seem like a really hard hill to climb!!!
Yeah I’m probably a little risk averse from that perspective, and fortunately not living pay cheque to pay cheque which makes it easier to build the cash buffers. I still think everybody should have a minimum of 3 months as an emergency fund though
I will say, as a Dad of one (soon to be two), setting yourself up like this, this early on in your career is fantastic! I did the same and you'll never regret it!

@@davidkelly1507 thanks! I decided to buy it outright, might make a video on it at some point seeing as they appear to be slightly appreciating in value! I’ve always loved them, my stepdad had an S1 Elise that I took on a track day once which was unreal, always wanted one from then. & whilst I’ve got no kids and only need space for me and my fiancée I thought why not 😂

Completely respect that, I guess what I’m trying to highlight is only 2/3 years ago I was just working a job with no other income, but now having RU-vid as a side hustle allows me to talk about how I’ve accelerated my income in ways I perhaps couldn’t imagine, especially if I only relied on my 9-5, in that way I’m only a couple of steps ahead if you know what I mean, so hopefully that helps everyone relate in some way! 🤞🏼
