I carry my “Have You Been Eskified” pamphlets every where I go. Wear my buttons on suspenders to every TGI FRIDAYS I can find, impersonating staff & handing to all of the mozzerella stick obsessed patrons. Stand on street corners, and now prepping a van filled with delusional college students to knock on doors. So yes @Tanglemane Wes, I am ALL IN!
I felt so bad for President Carter, there was so much lowbrow comedy making fun of him, some was funny and some not. Some was so downright disgusting that even though I was a little kid I felt ashamed of the "comedians" putting out the material and there was an extreme amount of it. He wasn't our worst president, he made his mistakes like all the rest but he did some pretty cool humanitarian things like Habitat for Humanity that are still going today. The bunny incident should have been funny, like you said, but it turned into an example of what I'm talking about and I seriously appreciate the fact that you know that.
There was also that time the Silent King of Holland was saved from an assassin by a dog.. Often claimed to be a pug.. and while I do like that notion, the breed of the dog has been just as much disputed
I knew there was a war against emus in Australia at one point, but not a pig war. Also, doesn't Norway have an emperor penguin in its ranks or something? I think it even has a special title or something.
