I'm happy for Bosh. He kept his head down and played his heart out without care for the spotlight. The Heat won rings because of him. He was underrated, might always be underrated, but I have no doubts that he will be remembered as one of the all-time greats.
Bosh an "all-time great"🤔, boy is that bar low!! Bosh admitted to himself he's not a cornerstone player that can b built around!! I give him props, the move to MIA was a 🏀 move....... just saying 😐!!
@@ReverendSam1still doesn’t take away from his impact and talent. Bosh is an elite player in any area who actually contributes on both sides of the ball. The notion that Rodman is overall better than Bosh is silly
It's kinda funny how Jordan and LeBron's developments mirrored each other, but in the opposite way, if that makes sense. Jordan had to learn that you can't always just brute force, 1v5 the other team if you want to win a ring. LeBron, on the other hand, had to learn that sometimes you DO need to stop playing team and brute force your way to a victory. You can't win a title with your superstar taking 50-60 shots a game, but you also can't win with him taking 5-6 shots either.
Legit. It’s crazy how many similarities they have. Even struggling early to overcome an amazing Pistons team, at one point rivaling a Celtics team, and vs’ing the Pacers multiple times throughout the Playoff history
Bosh played in 14 of the 23 games that the Heat had in the playoffs that year and he averaged 31 minutes a game. I wouldn't describe playing 61% of the games at 31 MPG as "Missing most of the playoffs". It's a good chunk, but saying he missed "most" of it is a stretch.
If the Heat lost the series back in 2012 against the Celtics, "Erik Spoelstra would possibly get fired". 2024-2025 season about to start and Spoelstra is still Miami's coach
@@Kiddingyoumustit doesn’t take a smart person to understand his point, Spoelstra is a good coach, an underrated one even now, so him getting fired more than a decades ago changes a lot for the heat
@@somregularguy I guess that guy doesn't have a clue... I don't really think that Spoelstra would be fired even if they lost imo, that's why I quoted that someone said he could be fired, and still after so many decades with "only" two championships over a decade ago, he's still miami's coach.... Because? Ye I think you said it already.
The 2012 pacers team was led by danny Granger not Paul George, the only reason George got his chance to one up was the next season when Granger got hurt pretty much ending his time with the pacers
So what? People load manage today anyways so 66=82 lol. But in all seriousness I get what you’re saying but it’s funny people bring up the lockout and the bubble for LeBron- why don’t people keep this same energy for that 99 Spurs title? Hmmm
@@ReverendSam1 Chris Bosh actually missed the rest of the Pacers series after he got hurt in game 1 of that series and missed like the 1st 4 games of the ECF
Paul Pierce should have kept his mouth shut if he wanted another title. Obviously things worked out for LeBron, but this is an example of why and when trash talking can have negative consequences.
Game 6 in that playoff series is one of the best all around performances we’ve ever seen from not just LeBron, but any individual player. LeBron was locked in.
For Paul Pierce, the reality for him is that he needs to realize that he held a 2-3 in Playoff series against LeBron, including the one that features Ray Allen in 2014, 13-17 overall, and even better Allen (and Rondo as well) has more title than Pierce.
@@j.l.howlett6843 It's just that I have had enough of Paul Pierce's antics and this should remind him that he along with KG and Allen are the main reason why there were superteams everywhere so he should admit that eventually.
@@AirRusher1992Paul pierce yes he is very salty and you are right but he at that period of time was ending his prime and still gave LeBron the business he was much better shooter than bron, kg was also kind of old whereas wade and Bosh was at their peak condition
@@j.l.howlett6843 In addition, he gets to witness his old Boston running mate Ray Allen wins a title with LeBron in 2013 and frankly he shouldn't be salty about that knowing the Celtics did Allen dirty for attempting to trade him prior to his departure for Miami. I'm glad Ray did the right thing.
I mean quite honestly if the Celtics actually did beat the 2011-2012 Miami Heat , Erik Spolestra definitely would have gotten fired and this Miami big 3 would have disbanded
He meant Isiah, as in the one on the Pistons. Older leader of a great team that stopped that young and upcoming great from ascending further, who then gets beat in an important moment during that younger player’s ascension. Also they had beef and stuff
Boston created the player Lebron James became,no other series in his career felt so long and even he faced them as underdog and favorite in his younger days and in absolute peak, series with gsw were even only twice
@@JonCom3dyyou making up things, so if Klay and Draymond didn't said those things Warriors will win in 5? It was Kyrie who had 41 on 17/24 FG in Game 5 that turned that series around not Lebron, w/o that performance they're finished 😂😂
I remember watching that series and as a Celtics fan thinking to myself "Ohhh shit we're going to beat Miami after being down 2 games" and then Lebron happened to turn to beast mode.
Yup right there with ya. I was so giddy after that game 5 and then Lebron answered the bell and went god mode during game 6. I dont care what anyone says, that will forever be Lebron's single greatest game of his career due to the circumstances.
13:48 “inexperienced Thunder Team”. Yes they were all young but they went to the western conference finals in 2011. The KD led OKC Thunder already have a deep playoff run the year prior to their nba finals run. Young ≠ inexperienced.
@@ReverendSam1 There are plenty of other teams throughout nba history that finished the finals losing 4-1 including the 2024 Dallas mavericks and the 2014 Miami heat
@@abdoulm.sorofino2642 Don't forget the '01 sixers😐, what does that have to do w/the thunder not being able to duplicate that again & Kd rolling out 🤔??
Another thing people never bring up Celtics didn’t have Jeff green .I believe because of heart surgery . I strongly believe if we had him for that series we would have won .
And they were missing Avery Bradley who had been inserted into the starting lineup midseason and was one of the major keys to their turnaround that year. His perimeter defense and athleticism had become crucial that year.
@@ReverendSam1 Yes Jeff Green. a role player can make difference on any team . He was a lot younger then would gave us another athletic wing to defend Bron cause pierce can’t do it all game. He would have took the pressure off . He’s no superstar by now stretch but there is reason is still in the league today .

Its wild that he said "at the end of the day, its just basketball" when getting bounced out the first round...and people still glaaaaaazzzee the froth off this guy. Standards are so low these days.
Say what you want to say, but lebron's 2018 playoff run is just legendary. He completely dominated both sides of the court and knew the opposing team gameplan. This 2012 game was just a foreshadow of what was eventually coming to lebron in the next seasons.
Both LeBron and Jordan could and did single handeledy take over games by themselves. It's like a switch went off and it's game over for the opposing team.
Yeah, I saw this match as it happened. I was wondering: how did it take LeBron that long realise he has probably the best basketball IQ paired with a super human physique?
well yeah… it will always be his greatest game. He was in the prime of his career with the pressure at an all-time high. Its not like he would ever surpass that
Lebron has quite literally never performed that bad in his whole career those finals. Wade would have been fmvp & definitive best player in 2 seperate finals up to that point.
I'm a big time LeBron hater ever since his OG Cavs days. To me, before his Miami days, his play wasn't anything special and his post-game interviews were like nails on a chalkboard with how pompous he sounded. He got the Miami and he sounded insanely arrogant for someone who in a 7 year span, made 1 Finals Appearance and got swept. So in 2011, seeing how poorly he played with how much shit he talked and loosing to the Mavs was incredibly sweet to me. But he definitely got humbled and ACTUALLY matured like he was supposed to be the Great player he should've always been. I will always give him the credit as an individual player because basketball is a team effort, and he essentially singlehandedly made the Cavs contenders on a yearly basis, but he was only elite because the other members of the Cavs weren't on his level. He's a great player whose been blessed with longevity, but if he wasn't drafted by a contending team he just would've been obscure and not stand out.
Up until this day I blame lebron in the 2011 finals and other people still discredit him. But I knew deep down he was going to redeem himself in the following year in 2012 and 13.
My Goat in my eyes my idol i grew up from the start of Le bron 's career we never see a player like LeBron James again it Will be a sad Day when King James retire 🏀🐐
Prime example of how the Association predetermines the outcomes of the games. Watch the game and just look at how the referees give call after call to Miami while stiffing Boston.
So u don't see 👀 how emotional players r thinking or talking a/b games or series like that, "predetermined"🤨?? The dubs don't even like the mention of that '16 season, just like the '07 Patriots.......just saying 🤔!!
Hold on, this is a falsehood, unselfish lebron is not a thing. In Cleveland before the trade to Miami he was the guy and he did take the final shots even though he wasn't ready for that stage. His career took of and he received recognition when Cleveland had head coach Mike Brown and they nearly ran the East. That is the backdrop for Paul Pierce who was pretty much the opposite side of the spectrum he was set to ve the head player for boston but in time he was not handed the keys right away. With so much opportunity or time of possession for lebron he was featured more prominently then his contemporary. The Miami side it was well documented that after the loss to Dallas in the finals lebron stopped pressuring Spo to run the offense through solely him and Wade, even wade interviews made mention of how LBJ kinda wanted things ran a certain way when he arrived and his attempts to get Pat Riley to coach the team. This video has its pros but LBJ single moment didn't when them this series. Yes he was clutch but the team as a team won, not LBJ snapping one time for the one time.
Its a great story, and truly the moment that LBJ became a man. That being said, PP talked alot of shit , but never said that. "Air quotes" from a non-existant sideline NBA reporter.
His 2018 playoff run as a whole is enough to put him there, not to mention some of his games against the Golden Era Pistons when he was the only above average player on the Cavs. But believe what you want
That was the motivation for LeBron James which made him a superpower during the playoff series and he silenced those fans who doubted him whether he would be an NBA champion despite winning a few conference titles in his career, good friends!!!👍
So because Paul Pierce decided to not be careful with what came out of his mouth and talk smack to LeBron, the latter went ballistic and led the Heat to the next two wins and a trip to the NBA Finals. That’s why they said we should be very careful with what comes out of our mouths because there’s the power of words: they can help, but they can also hurt.
lebrons physical prime is the miami days but killer wise and being ruthless give me second cleveland stint his stats are crazy and the mentality is pure attack the only reason is kyrie is alwats injured and love too and the kd joined warriors scenario but overall second cavs stint is the best version he ever had killer mentality wise
