Am I tripping or does this nigga look like Big Sean? Anyways, dope episode, love the series - very insightful and inspiring for young artists who plan on joining the music industry.
Montreal, late 90's early 2000's at Blizzart with the Brass Knuckles Crew and the Macklovitch brothers. Good music, good vibes. Lots of good memories. Those were the days. It is good to see he kept on pushing through all these years. A+
wow this was very well made & endlessly inspiring to me. proud to say fools gold initially introduced me to brockhampton who are now one of my absolute favorite groups.

This is fire but just curious, what changed in the audio of this episode vs the others? I'm asking so I can learn the difference. Did you change mics? Did you use camera audio? Did you forget the boom? Just curious. Great job on the show.

Some could argue that A-Trak might be a true DJ, but some of his current colleagues, ala Diplo, ala Steve Aoki, ala Skrillex are not DJ's. They are good in entertaining the crowd, but the walk with a DJ stamp on their heads is wrong and offensive to true DJ's like Premier, Rock, etc...
You have zero idea what you are talking about when it comes to Skrillex. He's gotten the seal of approval from pretty much any 'true dj' that's ever seen him live. He is not a scratch dj, but he has mad skills.
Those guys are mainly producers. Some have little if any true DJ skills. DJing is just a platform for Producers to showcase their music. The DJ stamp just lost its definition like a lot of mainstream labels and was just accepted by majority of people as someone who presses buttons behind a table on stage. People still mistaken Rappers as Singers these days too.
deal real records what historic shop for hip hop that was i loved that place i used to take 200 mile trip by my self to be in that little sweaty gritty vibing lil gem of a place they need to do a doc of that shop or sure . big up a-trak been enjoying your needle dropping skills since about 97 rock on scratch djs for life blessings
I dont think a day goes by that UK radio (and bars when they're open) doesn't play day n nite Crookers remix. That song was and still is incredibly huge. I never even heard the original until maybe a year or so later
K.T. Harmon don't hate, create, and pave your own path. He is dope af not only a cute white kid. Have you listened to any of his battles? He is well respected. He couldn't fake it 5+ times. Even last years winner was a super young Asian kid, but was sick.
