Jack, the reason why that guy was able to "find" that original thumbnail for the sour sweets video is because that was the thumbnail that showed up the exact second the video popped up in the notifications. I saw it when it came out too
8:40 I'm not the one who posted the original picture, but for some reason when I first saw the video in my subscription box that was the thumbnail I saw. Really interesting that despite you changing the thumbnail before the video released it still showed up as the original one for some people
The website doesn't seem to at all track based on video length. It seems to have a capped range and just ignores long videos. For example, 100k views on a 5 hour long video obviously makes way more money than a 10 minute one, but if you look up streamer vod channels, this isn't reflected. Even just 40 minute videos seem to be ignored in terms of revenue.
I honestly find these types of videos really interesting - it's really cool to see all the previous versions of thumbnails and titles, and how the changes affected the overall performance of the videos, as well as the subscribers gained and comparisons with other videos and channels. Good one, Jack! 😀
Is definitely based on Content... I know two channels one makes gossiping TMZ style content and one is a comedy podcast family friendly and the first one is 4Mil subs while the other is not even 100k the fist one makes 100k views easily on every video while the family graded podcasts struggles to get to 100k however month after month that comedy family friendly podcast/radio show makes as much money as the other I know this because I personally know both content creators..
I bet socialblade will finally update their UI in the next 18months or so. Such an easy fix, and they don't even bother... it's terribly old/outdated design-wise
i'm sorry, how the absolute noodlesticks is Russia of all countries the top geography for Jack's channel???? I know he had audiotracks however I didn't think he'd get that big of an audience in Russia!
10:39 It's showing the estimated time for your number of subscribers to increase by 1 million, notice how you have (approximately) 1.6 million subs on that channel and the projected subs displays 2.6 million.
The reason it skips to 2.8 and 2.6mil is because it’s exactly 1 million subscribers above your current sub count but I still think they should change it to the next big milestone
Jack, can you make a which of my subscribers has the mediumest subscribers like me who has 150 subs so feature creators like me it will be a good idea i guess btw waiting for beans on toast (love from India)
With the 2.6 and 2.8 mil thing it was based off what your channels are currently at and how long it would take to get a million more subs from right now
