You should do one of these on how you would book WCPW so it wouldn't go out of business in 15 months or better yet how you would book yourself to keep your views from going down by 94% of their total at their high point to now. No one cares how a washed up nobody would book the most successful company in the business.
@@muhammadHassan-kj1jy You see the problem with all these fantasy booking videos is they fail to address all the other workers in the company at the time. While you are booking Keith Lee how are you booking AJ Styles? Adam Cole? Daniel Bryan? Cesaro? Matt Riddle? Reigns? The New Day? The Usos? Edge? Orton? Karrion Kross? Jeff Hardy? Drew McIntyre? Bobby Lashley? Kevin Owens? Seth Rollins? The Women's division? The Tag Team Division? How many people are you going to underutilize to book this one person?
Here's my pitch for his return: Start of Raw, wedding setup, Keith Lee's music hits, he's walking down the isle suit and all, and then BAM. Adam makes his debut and marries Keith Lee.
@@jreed7125 they actually both auditioned to play the Joker in the Dark Knight, and they had to flip a coin for who got the part. Lesnar lost and has held that grudge ever since
Let's be real here: The first draft of this video's script was just a Wrestling wedding ceremony between Keith and Adam. Macho Man and Elizabeth style, no interruptions just heartfelt moments
“Keith Lee doesn’t need to win all the time to be a huge deal, he just needs to be treated like one” really wish people who think one lose is “burying someone” would understand this. Someone being buried isn’t them losing, it’s them being treated as if they aren’t that big of a deal or threat.
want a perfect example of someone who loses but always comes out looking like an utter champ? Eddie Kingston! just this year alone he's put on two absolute bangers against CM Punk and Miro, and easily one of the top 10 matches of the year (and it was fight me) against Bryan Danielson! Did he win any of these 3? no. Did people care? Hell no! because everytime he puts on such a magnificant herculian effort that he never looks weak! He nearly caved Miro's neck in, He beat Bryan's chest red and he Blooded punk. Badass
I agree. The problem is that sometimes people look at a loss in a vacuum rather than an overall picture. Kind of in the same vein, when Sasha Banks was on SCSA's podcast and they were discussing her walking out after WM and the rumors about being mad about having to drop the titles to the IIconics and if it was the right call, she said something to the effect of, "Well what happened after they won? Did they follow up on the win?" And she really was absolutely correct in that sense. The IIconics won the tag titles and then they did diddly squat. They barely defended them. So losses and even wins aren't in and of themselves the most important thing, it's the overall booking of a person.
A lot of the time, it's PWBBSD (Post WWE Bad Booking Stress Disorder). We're so used to a big star in WWE losing a major match and then completely being forgotten about. Rusev, Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt on and off, Wade Barrett ect. That when we see a new star lose a major match, it sets off our Pavlovian alarm bells.
@@VinnieGer Well yeah, he's the Undertaker. That's more of an outlier than the actual trend. Unless they're a really and truly established main eventer (Cena, Orton, Reigns, Rollins, etc.) it's almost always a casino gamble whether a high profile loss will send a superstar careening down to the mid-card or not. Look at pretty much anyone from NXT, for example.
@@lilsunny7399 Look, I like Adam, but the fact that his booking can just IGNORE REALITY is a problem for me. I don't wanna see "fantasy" booking, because anyone could book if they had the option to book anything their mind could conceive of, like the The Rock and Stone Cold being 25 years younger and making a return. I want REALITY based booking. Tell me what you would do if Keith Lee caught covid and was out for months, you know, like what REALLY happened? THAT would actually show some creativity, not simply pretending it didn't happen....
Honestly, all of this could've been done with the hindsight of the time, since you already had that NXT & WCPW history with people like Ricochet, Dijakovic, IRL drama with Mia Yim, it really is a question of how can you physically screw up Keith Lee? Maybe one of these days WWE will hire enough people willing to throw their voices out there in a collective towards Vince and Bruce and we get some quality product again.
I wouldn't hold your breath. WWE seems unwilling to reference even NXT, let alone a defunct British indie. As for people prepared to speak out against the powers that be in WWE, they'll just get labelled as difficult, then released. WWE clearly doesn't care about their talent, or their fans
When Keith Lee eliminated Seth Rollins and faced Roman Reigns, I was hyped for his main roster run.Genuinely still a magic moment in SS in last 10 years. Then came BADNESS.
I was saying for a while if they kept the Keith Lee from the 2019 SSeries & 2020 Rumble. I would’ve loved for him to win the 2022 Rumble & go on to dethrone the Tribal Chief at WM38. Imagine the pop he would’ve gotten pinning him after a Spirit Bomb. Roman then could’ve moved on to The Rock at WM39 in Hollywood which doesn’t really need the title IMO. The seeds get planted at the 2021 SSeries during the 25 Years of Rock celebration.
@@ericsmusic5927 I’m not new to wrestling. I know he was injured at WM29. That was a pretty confident & arrogant response meanwhile I never said I was certain he was coming back. I’m not saying either way. I’m speaking hypothetically because WWE themselves seem to want it with all the teasing they did at SSeries. They better hope they can get him too because it seems to be the only interesting story their company has left. After Roman leaves, that’s it for them. They’ve failed to build up anyone else.
Also, change his music, have him talk less, and get him a manager who is actually one of the best wrestler in the world, where is MY job in Stamford? Well, that doesn't matter, we'll be released in less than 3 months.
If Adam is gonna do a video on Keith Lee, I'd love to see him do a booking video on Aleister Black. Aleister was another potential star for WWE and screwed him like they did a lot of other NXT callups.
1:58 "Even Brock Lesnar %#$%@ knew, and he gives as much a #$%!@ about your favorite wrestler as he does about Heath Ledger's kids!" Adam got so emotional, he mixed up Heath Ledger and Heath Slater.
I certainly do like the storyline of Keith Lee being an NXT Redeemer and rescuing Mia Yim and Dominic from themselves has just the right amount of soap opera to his character.
WWE, the only company I know with a track record of taking things that aren't broken, and doesn't need to be fixed, and completely breaking it just so Vince could solely take credit, just in case if the change was to somehow work.
Like...how could a promotion ruin an athletic powerhouse as Keith Lee? HOW?!!! Adam Blampied is the person to cheer us up with a *Fantasy Booking* for the "Limitless One".
Glad Adam is back to rebooking an entire WWE Superstars' career. May I suggest in a future installment Aleister Black, Braun Strowman, EC3, Hideo Itami, Karrion Kross, Kassius Ohno, Rusev, and Ryback as well as Mercedes Martinez & Ruby Riot.
Solution to ryback...keep his undefeated streak in tact, dont book him against cm punk, that spot at hiac 2012 could've easily been filled by either randy orton or Daniel Bryan. Maybe have ryback be the guy to end Cesaro's us title run, lose it to Ambrose at around summerslam and then try moving him up the card afterward
@@timothyblair7464 IDK, there was never a better time for Ryback to be WWE Champion than late 2012 to early 2013. If The Rock didn't return it'd be easier because you don't have to have Ryback drop the belt, but with The Rock he would have to. But maybe he can win the World Heavyweight Championship since Ryback would still be more over than Jack Swagger.
I mean, I genuinely love Adams booking videos, but I'd really like to see another Retro-Booking, maybe something from the Ruthless-Aggression-Era or something from the 90s? Cannot be the only one^^
Keith’s main roster Run (pre him getting covid) was only tainted by His new outfit and theme. He was shot into upper mid card-main event level pretty quickly.
Ali came stupendous in this booking and in the Kofi-mania Fantasy Booking too. WHAT THE HELL?!!! How can a single man tell a jaw-dropping storytelling like these ones, while a "multi-million dollar company" struggles to this day doing a captivating story to at least come close? It baffles my mind.
Replace Cedric Alexander with Isiah Cassidy, and AEW literally did what WWE SHOULD'VE done! I can only imagine how happy Adam is to seeing Keith Lee in AEW!
Sorry I keep spamming the comments, but I just have to say how well done this video was. My favorite videos are the ones that just use logical booking to tell a good story. This, Shinsuke, Jinder and Kofi are four of my top five, along with ECW, of course. Great job, Adam.
I think the ones I love the best are ECW, Dean Ambrose and maybe The Fiend (my issue with the last being I would ditch the McMahon match at the end and have the Taker retirement at Wrestlemania)
To correct you Adam Keith already had covid and had given it to Mia which was why she missed the Rumble since Mia didn't want to leave his side which much respect to Mia for doing so
This has to be my favorite Adam rant so far. I've watched it 6 or 7 times and I still laugh at him. Keith Lee is going to be just fine wherever he lands. The man is money. I'm actually glad Vince can't see it in him. Go do big things Keith Lee so we can Bask In Your Glory.
Maybe WWE thought that since they had Odyssey Jones in NXT, there was no need for Keith Lee since Jones is 10 years younger, has had no history of injuries so far, and does a lot of things Lee did. It does not excuse WWE for forgetting about Keith, but that's probably their reasoning behind it.
I am currently high and it enhances the master piece that Adam created once again. My favorite ones yet. I feel that I can send it to friends that know nothing of wrestling and enjoy the storytelling and devotion of the character of Keith Lee.
He is literally a comic book character. Beast from X-Men, Professor Hulk. He's a powerhouse of unimaginable strength and ability, but has a brain. To echo Adam HOW DO YOU F*CK THAT UP?
If I ever audition for drama school, I think as use Adams talk up speech of Keith Lee as my audition piece. It's close to the greatest thing I've ever heard.
I think it's telling that there's already no ad support for this video. That's a classic Adam rant if I've ever heard one. Don't get me wrong, though, it's COMPLETELY warranted.
Though you should put his bookings through a filter because giving Adam a blank check and the rights to book Lee would just result in Keith Lee winning the tournament to be Adam's lawfully-wedded husband. It'll be like the world's beefiest kinkplay.
I know it'd be a huge commitment but I'd love to see "How Adam would Book 2021, 2022, 2023 etc." videos. Going down the list of ppvs and big moments that he'd book for each year. Another phenomenal video lads 💪
"You're not T-Bar, what the hell is a T-Bar" had me dying lmaooo. Also, did he book a mixed tag match without a woman on the retribution side? Who is Mia Yim wrestling against in this match lol I'd really like to see How Adam would book Sasha Banks in 2016
Keith Lee, is the total package. The mic work, charisma, the work skills. The only way to screw it up was to do it purposefully. They threw the ball away intentionally because he was not a "home grown" WWE talent. He was indi, so he was doomed.
I really hope Keith goes to either AEW or NJPW, both would treat him like the star we all know he is. It's unbeleivable how he was mistreated/mishandled by Vince and his stooges on the main roster, HHH knew what he had, how to present him and how to book him. I just can't understand what Vince was thinking trying to change something that was already working and getting him over?!
I’ve watched this video like 4 times since it came out, and today is the first time I realized Adam said “Heath Ledger’s kids” instead of “Heath Slater’s kids”
I would love to see how you would book Kairi Sane's last 6 months in the company, from her returning at the Rumble to her final night with the company because my God was it awful and dangerous.
I recently had the idea that some company, be it Impact, AEW or whoever, should hire Lee and Mia Yim, send them both of tears through their respective divisions and sell them as "The Power Couple".
