I was watching that punter booming kicks and one went from the 30 all the way almost to the opposung 25. These are the things that win you games forcing your opponent to earn every yard. Impressive.

Alabama isn’t hitting grand slams intentionally. They will be trying to sustain a drive and a RB will break loose for 59 yards or, a receiver will catch a 15 yard pass and go for 40 more after the catch. Alabama is just out talenting other teams! Not their fault.

IMO.... the intermediate passing game is kind of being held back , so to speak. It is what his offense was, and will be again, jus hasnt been time to bring it out, until we meet Georgia. Roll Tide!

If they didn't have the big play capability, everyone would be saying they're going to get beat because of it smdh. Heck this is just the third game and the playbook is barely open. Forget grinding it out and getting players hurt with the multiple contact plays back to back. We're at war and win quickly, the way i see it😊

I have nothing but praise for Josh Pate. He is a Georgia fan but you couldn't tell. Too professional. He sees things no other sports "mouthpiece" does. He is my go to. I believe the other big game is Tennessee in Knovville. ROLL Tide.

Defenses put 8 men in the box you won't se an intermediate passing game. See deep balls and washing runs. Playing to the defense!

I suppose if we got up by say 14 against Georgia and needed to run out 7 minutes of clock, we could put Ty in. He should be able to short pass us down the field with the help of our RB's. He can even run it himself when the opportunity presents itself.

The way Josh Pate breaks things down is just awesome. Idk what that guys IQ is but if I had to guess I’d say he’s around 130. There’s plenty of smart people in this world ( example Elon Musk) that are intelligent but it’s not often that you see an individual that’s that smart AND has that level of sociably skills. as a bama fan i hate to say this, but tennessee is by far our toughest game on schedule. tennessee is in my opinion just as good as we are, maybe just a little worse, but we also have to go neyland and that’s what scares me. not worried about oklahoma by any means

Bama ain't ready for GA. And they're not beating GA either. Bama's defense has more holes than Swiss cheese.

As a UGA fan, even I'm not feeling good about this game at this point in the season. Defense looks ready (when everyone healthy), one of the best pass rushing defenses I've seen in a while for UGA, but offense is going to be a late bloomer this season. But I believe as the year moves forward, players will emerge to embrace roles on offense. UGA will get better....."hot" like a lot of good teams do as the year progresses. Don't know why, but UGA offense is always slow out the gate. Schedule sucks this year with all the important games on the road, but on the flip side, these games should be home next season. UGA under Kirby is a different animal in Athens.

This is game one of potentially 3 this season between UGA and Bama. This is like a boxing match between 2 fighters we absolutely know are very legit. KDB has had success against Dan Lanning and Sark. Significant success. He and his staff seems to coach very very very well in big games . I don’t think in a KDB offense you can stop them from scoring 28 points . At UW his dline was average at best and same with the secondary. They got pressure from tremendous edge rushers and outstanding linebacker play. The defense forced teams to have 12 play drives then kick a field goal. At Bama they seem to have a dline that is tremendous inside. Arguably the best backer group in the country and some may even say edge rushers or at least top 5 nationally coming off the edge . People did not see UGA wideouts separating against Kentucky. I think Bama and that offense scores 34 plus … and I don’t see UGA scoring 28 plus. In these games special teams play is the equalizer along with penalties and turnovers. Bamas special teams play is ridiculous. In this first game it will be interesting to see if UGA can strike big plays against Bama and if Bama can continue to eliminate big plays . Can’t wait … RTR

Beating uga isn’t to hard for Bama. Is it. They’ve won 1 game in the last how many? Kirby goes against a team with equal talent his lack of head coaching skills rear its ugly head imo. I love Kirby. Would take him back in a minute. Great recruiter and good head coach. But not great yet.

To me Georgia has only been more consistent at winning the games they are supposed to. The 2022 season they were actively getting their ass kicked until the top receiver went down. Actively got their asses handed to them in 2021. Yet has Georgia looked like the clear best team in the country in any year

I hope Milroe can throw a slant pass, never seen it from him. The best college and NFL teams can all throw the slant. Ty Simpson can throw intermediate passes and the deep ball.

GA fans are the most unrealistic fans in all of college football. I have been in Atlanta for 40 yrs, From Mobile, AL and it is the same thing every yr. They talk about winning the national championship, then, when they lose the entire state seems to become suicidal. As a Bama fan, we felt sorry for them so we gave them a coach (kirby smart) and they don't want to acknowledge he learned from Bama, they want to talk about his playing at GA. RTR!

I don't understand the narrative that Bama has depth issues. This is still an elite roster. Josh used to work for 24/7 so he should know. Bama has 17 5-stars; That's the most in the country, and everyone else is a 4 star. #1 in the talent composite.

Here’s my opinion on the “lack of offensive consistency” thru 3 games.. just as plausible of an argument it is to say they haven’t been consistent, it’s mostly off a explosive plays.. can’t one make the counter argument that they’re explosive plays because our players are just THAT much better…?? Like for most teams the Ryan Williams TD against South Florida is a 1st down, 10 yard gain and play the next play, instead our players are so good that they turn those “normal” plays into touchdowns… does anyone else understand what I’m getting at? Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like one can just as easily make the counter argument that it’s not a lack of keeping a drive, our guys are maybe just THAT elite. Would love to hear other’s opinions

If the ball is snapped to Milroe clean then he will make the required plays. Don’t always look for #2 and get the ball in the hands of players who can make plays as well like 2&6. Put Law in plays like a tighten like Bowers at GA.

I can tell you as a coach and player, Bama Has at least a dozen or so players it’s gonna play on Sunday on offense. Georgia is gonna be lucky to have two or three. Our o line, wideouts/TEs Is probably the most Deficient and the least talented I’ve ever seen in the Kirby Smart era. The players he’s been picking up in the portal on offense, (besides Ettiene) are not Sunday players. You can save this comment and mark my word, The fan base is going to be really mad when we end up 8-4/9-3 And they are going to be really mad when it’s the same day next year and we have to hire a new offensive coordinator and an o line coach and start rebuilding

This host acts like we are extremely low in depth. Sorry , don’t agree. Before Saban retired we had to shed a lot of players to stay at 85. Players leaving was no surprise . After Saban left we lost about 10 or so more players. We replaced most in the Portal. Injuries can hurt any team. Just don’t think we are much more exposed than any contender in the SEC.

Lifelong Bama fan. I was live watching Jalen's 1st game at Arkansas and this last one in Wisconsin. Jalen Milroe has not improved much in the pocket IMHO, but is getting much better O-line play. I think he is a fast runner, strong bodied, and big armed athlete, not a true QB. He doesn't seem to have the progressions down, often looking to 1 area. He threw to the covered receiver with a wide open option on a couple of occasions. He has no peripheral vision like Bryce did. He also has a broken play clock where he holds onto the ball far longer than is wise instead of throwing it away. remember, he has been sacked 5 times in 3 games ... but we haven't exactly been playing the top teams yet. I will be very interested in Georgia's defensive handling. If Milroe can survive Georgia's Defense, the sky is the limit for the season, but I don't yet see the eyes, quick thinking, and finesse of an elite QB.
