To aviod the irritation from aloe, cut off the rigid edges, soak in water for 30-40 minutes. Pour the water off, rinse and pat dry. Then extract the aloe gel to avoid the yellow latex.🤓🤓🎯
Thank you for the advice! I started using it before I ever heard of these precautions, and praise the Lord, I haven't had any issues. Hope someone out there with sensitivities can benefit from these safeguards.
Thank you so much for posting this! You've motivated and inspired me ! I'm 53 and have been natural for over 10 years, I've been lazy and inconsistent when it comes to caring for my hair. I've always been blessed with thick hair, just not the length. I recently decided to focus on growing my hair long. Please continue to post videos. You got a new subscriber!
Hey there! Thanks so much for subscribing. I really appreciate it! I hear you on the lazy and inconsistent. Life gets so busy! However, taking a minute to focus on yourself is a really good thing! I look forward to hearing your success story! Thanks for the encouragement on the videos. I just published one with more of my hair care tips that I have collected in the 25 years since I wrote a book called The Black Woman's Guide to Beautiful, Healthier Hair in 6 Weeks! Hope you check it out!😊
Yes !!! Hair is work period. Natural, Permed, Texlax, ft job, pt job, kids or no kids. Im semi retired , 52, Nurse, going back to school part time and on the bus.. We have to have hair routines. Took me 35yrs to learn and implement finally!!😊
Well said, and I couldn’t agree more! 💯 Also, go head Super Woman! 🤩 The bus brings back memories because my last job before I wound up working from home, I was doing my devotion on the bus to the train. 😆
@@Corporate_Carolyn Lol, me too. I'm on the bus also bcz I'm determined to get my dream car this year ,I've had multiple cars and 3 Hyundai's but now I want what I want so I'm good w bus until the LORD makes a way for my real car💕🤩
Thank you, and thanks for sharing!! I think initially, I was going to use it as a pre-poo, but left it in and when I saw it wasn't a big deal, and then after I saw the results, I just continued to do it! 😂
At 58... immediately clicked...51 and protective styling until 20 inches(1/25). Maybe longer. A few more inches for cushion when I finally start to manipulate again.... your arms are goals!!!!
Oh hey, a woman with a plan! It definitely sounds like you are off to a great start! Be sure to let me know when you reach your goal! All the best, and thank you for the arms compliment! I have been trying to stay on top of them! 😄
The itching is caused by the yellow latex discharge you see when you cut into the aloe. Always wash it away under running water or leave to soak in a bowl of water, then throw that water away. Then use the gel.
OMGreatness... another BEAUTY that's going through the menopausal changes and retaining healthy natural 4ish-hair. THANK YOU for posting! BTW, I used Aloe Vera Powder (from my local Indian store or AMAZON) and have gotten similar results. New Subbie on the journey to waist-length. ❤❤❤
👑@@stephanierembert6221... My apologies in the delayed response. In reference to Aloe Vera Powder, a quick visit to my local Indian Store has saved the day. But, in a pinch Amazon ship has been my alternative option. Definitely love the ease and convenience.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hey there!!! That is so very sweet of you, and I appreciate your kind word! OMGreatness! 😊 Love it! Anyway, you are quite welcome! Thank you for sharing about the Aloe Vera Powder. I had no idea that was even a thing! Would you mind sharing where you get it for anyone who wants to know? Thanks so much in advance, as well as for subscribing! Waist-length here we come!
👑@@Corporate_Carolyn ... You and the Tribe really blessed me🔥🔥🔥... I updated my initial comment to note where I purchase Aloe Vera Powder (my local Indian store or Amazon). I grow my own Aloe Vera plants, but love the convenience of Powder form. That's fir being LIGHT and LOVE❣️❤️
Wow, thank you for that! 🤗 Can’t wait to hear your great results! ❤️ I plan to publish a video later today showing how I prepare the aloe. I’m not good at this type of thing, but people keep asking, and I can’t find the video that showed me how to do it early last year. We’ll see what happens! 😂 Stay blessed! 🙏🏾
Oh wow, that means a lot to hear that! I pray the Lord uses what you heard to bless you in every way you need it! 🙏😇 Also, I am so behind in responding to comments, so just in case you have not seen, I had to do another video because the Aethiopika butter was out of stock for a time. In the second video, I shared an alternate that has comparable moisturizing results: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UhQhvfwZYZ8.html. Hope it helps!
I turned 50 last year but discovered the benefits of aloe for my hair back in 2016, it’s been one of the best things I’ve done for my hair. I’m only using the juice but I’m interested in using the gel. Thanks for sharing!
I agree. I've been natural since 2015 and it is definitely work but so worth it. NO chemicals & NO heat since then!! Shea butter, olive oil, aloe, honey & homemade flax seed gel. Avocado 🥑 is also good👍
Oh wow, and I definitely agree! Good for you! That mix sounds good. I didn't have success with flaxseed oil in the past, but I hear it works great for high porosity hair. I believe mine is low porosity. Of course! LOL
Hey there, I agree! It has been one of the best things I've done too! I bought the juice a number of times, but I never got the results so many said they got. I thought it was just more hype like so many things. However, I started to notice the leaves at the grocery store, and I wondered what it would do for my scalp. So I gave it a shot. I was amazed at how the slimy, okra-like goop helped me to detangle my hair better than anything else ever has! It really has been a game-changer. Thinking about making a video to show I get my gel from the plant since people keep asking me tomorrow, and I can't find the video that taught me. That should be funny! LOL
I agree! Your hair is beautiful. I'm also tired of trying everything I hear about. So far nothing has worked. I will see if my stores have aloe vera plants. I've stopped relaxing and dyeing but my hair remains dry. Thanks for sharing your regimen!!
Water has been my best friend for my dry hair. Spray bottle, water based daily moisturizer ( African pride in the jar) is my 1st choice. I've tried all the expensive ones, and this one is my favorite. mousse ( lattabody or African pride) and I wash at least 1x weekly ( when my scalp itches, I wash). I keep my hair in small twists and I do spray bottle, mousse and moisturizer almost daily. Some people love oils, they don't work for me, so I'm doing what works.
OMG, I'm on a long plait journey too! At 54, I also wear my hair in 4-6 plaits now as they are the plaits I wish I had as a kid. I did have big thick plaits as a kid, but not the really long ones that I wanted. I do wear Marly hair over my natural plaits as my hair is thin and the Marley hair protects my ends and keeps my hair stretched when I wash. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. You are most def a role model!!!!!
Oh wow, thank you so much, and you are quite welcome! Who knew we would wearing plaits at our age? LOL I have never heard of Marley hair, but protecting your ends and keeping your hair stretched when you wash, it sounds like a miracle product.! Wouldn't it be neat if we learn even more on this journey to help the younger women on the journey behind us? 😊
@@Corporate_Carolyn Marley hair is 4c textured braiding hair. Yep. Love my plaits. I have two long plaits in right now--using my hair and Marley hair so that it looks like the hair is growing out of my head. My hair is almost as long as the Marley hair, but the Marley hair keeps it stretched. And it has been a life safer. I either braid it over smaller braids or in big sections--then wash my hair--and my hair stays stretched the whole time!!! I need to do a new vid to update. Yes, all this info should be passed on!
You are so sweet, and I thank you! I do thank God for good genes, but your girl is putting in a lot of work over here too! I don't want to give anyone the wrong impression that they don't have to do anything to age better. Unfortunately, most don't realize until it is too late. One of the things I am trying to do is raise awareness for those coming behind me.
Aloe is my best hair friend. I am in Cape Town and a few years ago we had a droughtand water restrictions. Most people planted aloe in their gardens at the time. Drought is over and almost every garden in my neighborhood has aloe. So I started with aloe. Some of them are a bit more watery than gel-like. So I just thicken with xanthan gum. Something else I found as good for my hair is okra gel. I am not sure if its better, but I will def be using it in our dryer summer months when the aloe leaves are thin and dry. I usually freeze the aloe vera gel or juice for summer use but okra gel might be a Better option
Oh wow, I wondered if Africa had aloe! This is so amazing! I didn't know you could freeze aloe vera gel. Such good information. Thank you! Now, about this okra gel... I have eaten it, but I cannot imagine it on my hair, and I don't know of any benefits it has on hair. So not so sure, but good to hear from someone so far away!
Wow, thank you for sharing this for any women who may have sensitivities. I have never done this before, and I have no issues. Obviously, I am not allergic to it. So funny how everyone's body is so different.
I use aloe as a leave in. I figure something so good doesn't need to be rinsed out. Your hair is gorgeous as are you. A good substitute for the actual aloe leaves is the food grade aloe juice/water. Since it can be used as a laxative some pharmacies carry it. I used that for a few months before I was finally able to get aloe at my local supermarket. It was a wonderful substitute.
Hi there, and thank you so much! Believe it or not, I used to buy the big jugs of pure aloe, and I used it the way that the videos used to recommend, with no noticeable benefit. 🙄 I finally gave up until I saw a video I think early last year talking about using the gel on your hair, and crazy results happened as I did. So at my age, unless something different takes place, I’m going to ride it until the wheels fall off! 😆❤️
Thank you. This is interesting and proof that everything doesn't work for everyone. I remember when I tried flax seed gel and had a similar experience. It did absolutely nothing positive for my hair when I used the seeds to make gel. The whole process was messy and just not worth it for me. My hair was just like "What is this?" lol. I agree that once you find what works, stick with it. No need to substitute if you don't have to.
Wow! You certainly dont look your age. I am in Wow of your hair as well. How did you not have thinning hair & hair loss going thru menopause & at your age? I am 53 & going thru menopause & thought i just needed to forget about healthy & long hair now. You have made me so EXCITED & HAPPY !
Praise the Lord, it is just for a season! Hopefully, you checked out my video sharing my experience with it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-peFGS-qX3Pk.html. It gets better! Hang in there!
Oh wow, I am so happy to hear that! Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it. Now, no one is saying I didn't experience any thinning. I think I have around my front edges. Someone suggested it was because of the permanent color, but it is hard to blame it on that when you have been through menopause. I really don't know, but that is how I have looked for solutions over the years just to make sure I am doing all I can do to create a low-stress, relatively gentle and careful handling environment for my hair. You won't see me in braids or with any protective style touching my hairline or small sections of hair. I have avoided popular styles that use crotchet hair because I think they can pull on small sections of hair possibly causing some thinning. Let's just say, once I hit 50, the stakes got higher, and I am no longer willing to take a chance any more. Praise the Lord, it is just for a season! Hopefully, you checked out my video sharing my experience with it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-peFGS-qX3Pk.html. The supplement I take may help. Either way, it does get better! Hang in there!
My dear sis. You look soooo much younger. I would place you in the late 20's to 30 years old. You are beautiful. God bless you. Thank you so much for your words of advice and inspiring us 50-50+ year olds. Keep God close. 🙏 🙏🙏
Hey there, and thank you so much for your kind words. They are greatly appreciated! 😇 God bless you too! I like to think of this as a type of ministry as God has blessed me greatly with solutions to problems I have, so I feel that if I learn something good, He wants me to share it. Hope it helps!
You are gorgeous & seem like such a sweetheart. Yes, keeping the hair hyrated & moisturized along w/ proper careful detangling is the key to length retention.
I love using fresh aloe… it’s TLC for my hair. I prefer to use it straight from the leaf. When I tried to blend and strain the aloe I ended up with flakes from the pulp. I’ve recently started to incorporate aloe back into my natural haircare regimen. Thank you for sharing 🥰
I love it too! It has been such a blessing to me. I hate fooling with a blender (whose going to clean it? LOL), so I am glad the leaf is so easy to use. You make me glad I didn't bother! Anyway, you are quite welcome, and happy hair growing! ❤️
Thank you so much! I feel you, and dryness has been an issue for me all of my life, and it still is. Why else do you see me moisturizing 5 days a week in addition to this? Take a look at your vitamins and water consumption too if this doesn't help. I am praying it does!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it! I can’t tell you what a blessing this has been for me at 58 to be prancing around with my hair out like a young girl! I pray it’s a blessing to you as well! All the best! ❤️❤️❤️
try using indigo and henna to color your hair naturally. i let dye go 15 years ago to be totally 100 percent natural. your hair is beautiful. i’ll be sure to incorporate this into my regimen
Been there, done that during the early days of my natural journey about a decade ago. I think it was Ancient Sunrise, which gave wonderfully vibrant color, but it took all-doggone-day, and it made a horrible mess. Also, when I would talk about it on YT, some commented that if henna has indigo in it then it is not natural. Someone always has something to say. No matter what you do, someone always wants you to take it to another level. However, I decided that henna is not for me as my stylist warned me about precautions related to certain metals if you try to alternate with other coloring options. Frankly, it was more than I wanted to think about. And now that I am using the aloe successfully, how do I know the two will work well together? I don't, so I think I am just going to keep moving forward. Thank you for sharing your story though as it might be an option for others reading the comments. Be blessed!
Oh, I forgot to say thank you for the hair compliment before I responded about the indigo. I think it triggered me on this Saturday afternoon as I thought about the time it took to clean up and detangle my hair afterwards! 😂 I hope the aloe works for you!

Hello dear big sis. You look absolutely beautiful from head to toe with your beautiful skin and lustrous , healthy hair . I'm from South Africa and here we have aloe all over. It use to grow so much in our gardens but i never knew the benefits it has for our hair and skin until i knew it about 2 years ago. I always use it as a pre poo but didn't know i can leave it in my hair for 2 weeks 😮. I always ask myself why do people rinse of the gel if its so good ? Do you perhaps know what can i use for my hyper pigmentation from the pregnancy of my daughter. I struggle to get rid of it due my face is flawless. Thank for the great video. I've learn something new today.
😮😮😮😮😮 58?? My sister my sister thanks so much for giving me hope because I’m 52 today and I’ve been stressing because I’m going through menopause and I just comb my locs out! I’m excited to see that our hair will grow happy and healthy past 25 😅❤❤❤
Oh hey, thank you for that! You are the reason why I am sharing. There is not a lot said about the challenges of menopause, so I am happy to let people know there is life and hair after 50! LOL I can't wait to hear your good report! 😊
I mist it with Paul Mitchell’ Awapuhi Moisture Mist first to wet it before the aloe application and comb out. If it’s totally wet, I feel resistance with the aloe and not as much slip. 🤷🏾♀️
Now look at such long, healthy and beautiful hair, i couldn't help it but hit the subscribe button, an hey you don't look anywhere near 50, you simply cute!
Hello, i just stumbled on your video, so very informative and timely. I have one question....i have locs for about 14 years so i cant do any combing. Can i still leave the aloe gel in my hair for say 4 weeks or more? I also color treat my hair sometimes. I have the oils you mentioned so I'll do the mix. New subscriber from Guyana South America.
Oh hey! Guyana! That is amazing, and thank you so much for subscribing! While I cannot say how your locs will be affected by aloe staying on your hair for 4 weeks or more, but for me and my plaits, with regular moisturizing, I have seen great results. I wonder if you try it for a week, and shampoo it out as a test, what would happen? Then, if it works well, try longer. Everybody's hair is different, so it is a just a thought. Would love to know how it works for you. Good luck!
@@Corporate_Carolyn I will keep it in for say 2 weeks and see how it goes. Thanks for your hair tips, the good thing is that most, if not all of the oils are sold in Guyana and I've been a regular user with great results. Stay well always. Donna from Guyana South America.
You are quite welcome! In case you haven't seen, I had to do a follow-up because the Aethiopika was out of stock, and I had to test out an alternate butter. Here it is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UhQhvfwZYZ8.html
I say whatever works for you. I tried flaxseed gel -- homemade and a product I believe by Miss Jessie. Neither gave me good results. Everybody is so different.
Hi there, and thank you! Here is my skin routine: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jcTIftllHCI.html and to see what I eat: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZMiXx3tR5bY.html for part 1, and the end screens will lead you to parts 2, 3 and 4 of the series. Hope it gives you the answers you seek. LOL
Try methi seed aka fenugreek powder. I mix the powder with aloe juice (commercial) and tresemme conditioner. Sometimes I add olive or avocado oil to this mix and deep condition. No more shedding!
You are quite welcome! I pray you figure out what is going on. My hair is perpetually dry too, which is one of the reasons I decided to try aloe and why I moisturize daily, as well as deep condition my hair whenever I shampoo it EVERY time. Hair can be temperamental! LOL Good Luck!
Hey, good to see you? Where have you been or have I just not been getting notifications? Love your method here and have not tried aloe on my hair but is it really greasy after all of that or does it absorb and pretty well? It looks beautiful. Is it affected by humidity when you wear it out or does the aloe somehow protect from that?
Hey, there!!! Thank you for saying that and for noticing my absence! Your girl was over here licking her wounds and wondering where an old dog who doesn't feel like learning new tricks fits into the YT landscape! 😂 I was about ready to call it quits, but my son has that recording equipment set up right by my workspace, and I didn't want to let him down, especially as he felt it was premature to give up until I reached at least 100 videos. So, I took yet another shot, and it seems like I could be finding things to talk about that people want to hear from me. At least I hope! LOL Anyway, the plaits are greasy at first, so I run my hands down the entire length of the plaits to get off excess product or residue and wipe it on a paper towel. For anything that's left, either my hair absorbs it, or some of that greasiness dissipates as it dries. Not quite sure. If it is damp when I go to bed, I put a towel on the pillow to absorb some of it. I find that the actual greasiness comes in as I moisturize during the week with the Qhemet Biologics balm. However, I don't mind as much because when I take down the plaits, my hair looks moist and shiny. Also, it might be less greasy if you don't do it every week. I do it at least every two weeks, I think. Also, I have not really seen evidence that it protects against the effects of humidity. I find my natural hair is going to do what it's going to do regardless! LOL I think it behaves better than it would without the aloe, but when in doubt, I just throw on a protective style just in case! LOL I hope that helps. I am getting ready to post a video this weekend to show one of my favorite get-up-and-go styles for a time such as this. Again, thanks so much, and let me know if you have other questions.
Hi there! Menopause has been an interesting journey! LOL However, I think I am on a good course, and I talked about it in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-peFGS-qX3Pk.html I hope this helps. If not, feel free to ask about whatever I left out.
Hi there, I started growing it after a bad experience with a Brazilian keratin treatment (maybe around 2010). After I recovered from that, a stylist convinced me to get a texturizer. Then, I got tired of her bad treatment of my hair, and I stopped going to her. Eventually, I grew it out, and then a few years later, I found another stylist and asked her to give me another texturizer because I was tired of fooling with it! She did, but she left it on too long, and my hair was too straight. So, I grew that out and realized I needed to pick either color or straighteners. I chose color. So, I bounced around from one thing to another until about 2018. It looked really nice, but I wore it out all the time, which led to breakage. So, by 2020, I started doing protective styling. Then, around 2023, I started using aloe, which is when my Afro actually started growing down my back. So, with all that, it must have been a 14 year rollercoaster! LOL
Nice, the aethiopika twist butter appears to no longer exist on the quemet biologics website. Not on Amazon, either. I should have tried it years ago. Any suggestions on another hair butter to use for 4c hair?
NOOO!!!! You can’t be serious! I just went out to Amazon, and you are right I don’t see it. I just ordered some less than six weeks ago. 🤦🏾♀️ I still have over half a container left, but I am going to have to figure something out, so as soon as I do, I will post a video. Sorry about that.
Believe it or not, I would say it has been over 25 years if you count the time it was relaxed, growing out, natural, texturized, natural, accidentally relaxed, growing out, and now completely natural again. It is funny that this was all after I wrote a book in 1999 called "The Black Woman's Guide to Beautiful, Healthier Hair in 6 Weeks!" I just did a video talking about it, my journey and other tips! Hope you check it out. In the meantime, the butter is in the video description now, but here it is: Qhemet Biologics Aethiopika Hydrate & Twist Butter - Frizz-Free Styling Butter: amzn.to/443TRZ7
Sis, can I ask about your hair colour? Did you have any grey hairs previously or is there anything you use to keep your hair black? I have greys but don’t want to dye my hair with chemicals. I would love to know if there is anything natural to get my black colour back! Anyway, I’ve subbed to your channel. 🥰
Hi there! Thanks so much for subbing. I usually dye with chemicals, but I have been using a tinted fiber gel and "hair mascara" shown in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1efbNx4NTDc.html. I hope it helps! ❤️
Hey there, thank you so much! I have been thinking about this, but if I don't do a video, at a minimum, I will do a post that will list my favorite workout videos from RU-vid, which I believe have helped to tone my arms in a major way. Stay tuned!
I may have missed this, but do you put the aloe on your hair first, let it sit for 1 hour, and then wash the aloe out? You look like you are in your 30's!❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much! But NOPE, I leave it in, plait it, unplait it reapply, re-plait it, and leave it in at least 3 or 4 times before shampooing again! Crazy, I know, but I have left it in for at least 6 to 8 weeks before! 😳 This is what has people questioning whether I have 4C hair or not because as long as the aloe is in my hair, there is definition and the curls are more elongated. I guess the aloe has trained it. LOL Also, the nourishing effect of aloe, maybe more so the fact that it makes it easier to comb, has led to this massive growth along with protective styling in my humble opinion. Especially from November to about January where I was recovering from knee surgery, I just keep reapplying and leaving it in plaits, I was amazed when I took it out in February. It was crazy, and it is continuing, which is why I decided to share.
Hi there, so it won’t take me forever to get back to you, here is a video that you can fast forward through to see what I’m using: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-grjK0PbP_-o.htmlsi=DM84YGTfKTfiddvj
I mainly do it every two weeks, but never more than once a week. I started off doing it monthly though because I wasn't sure how it would work! LOL So far so good though!
Good point! Toward the end of this video, I show how I make the aloe infused oil that I put on my scalp as a part of this treatment. Then, when I moisturize my plaits (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tM64Y2cRVRU.html) I also use a little oil by Mielle.
I see now!!! Sorry about that, I should have added that in the video description. I just did, but here it is just for you: Qhemet Biologics Aethiopika Hydrate & Twist Butter - Frizz-Free Styling Butter: amzn.to/443TRZ7
I understand completely! So much goes on as we age, and there can be so many factors that it can be very confusing to figure out the culprit. However, I didn't see the growth shown in this video until I figured out the best way to detangle my tangly hair and to give it breaks from constant handling. I am going to post a video this weekend to show one of the secrets that helped me to grow my hair longer. I hope you can check it out it could help you too.
Hey there! For those who have asked, I made a few videos like this to answer that question. 🤗 Hope it helps! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1-riBOwwAro.htmlsi=5zXAPObiJZn69GRu
Oh wow, I have had okra before, but never on my hair. It does have the same consistency, but unless I heard some pretty miraculous results, I'd be too scared to try it. 😂 If you ever do a video using it, be sure to let me know.
Thank you, but the texture you are seeing is the result of using aloe for more than a year. It has significantly loosened my curl pattern. 🤷🏾♀️ You are not the first person to say this. I did a channel post to show what it looked like before aloe on my channel page in case you want to see. 🤗
Girl! Thank you, and no shade taken, but the reason aloe became my friend is because it finally gave me actual curl definition, which I NEVER had. Years ago, people used to clown me because I could only do an Afro, and some people would say why don’t you do an actual style? 🙄 The only style that my hair would do was an Afro, and it would turn into a dry bird’s nest real fast. The aloe is what took me from tangly Afro to elongated curls. 🤷🏾♀️ My hair didn’t even look like this when a stylist gave me a texturizer. I will find a picture from way back when where I couldn’t get past just Afros. I actually considered going back to relaxers because of my struggles. So thankful the Lord led me to a solution to keep me from doing something so drastic. I will do a post on my channel if I run across some of those pictures. I never used to believe in being able to train your hair, but aloe has actually changed the texture. It has greatly improved my hair’s manageability and curl pattern, which is why I keep doing it over and over again. ❤️
Thanks for your gentle reply. I'm here looking at my hair and thinking that my hair must be 4'D' lol. I'm going to employ that aloe gel and see what happens over the next 6 months to a year. I will be back with the results. Blessungs🙏🏽
@@Corporate_Carolyn This is facts, once the hair receives adequate moisture and hydration the curls will pop out and not just because they have a ton of product on them.
The hair typing system is intrinsically flawed. By the way it was created by a yt man 😂Hers looks very much like my “4c hair”. Also as the hair grows it weighs down and pulls on the curls. I also twist my hair so when I take it out it doesn’t look tightly coiled. The hairdresser who cut my hair was so shocked that it was soft bc ppl think 4c is dry So moral of the story, everyone’s hair is different bc of the diversity in our genes. My sister had much thinner hair than mine naturally. Mine is super thick for no reason. My dad’s side of the family is thicker. Also the front of my hair is easier to manage for some reason not necessarily bc the texture is that different
@@miriammoore4568 I pray it works as well for you as it did for me! 🙏🏾Making these videos and publishing them is so hard for me, but I’m hoping to share a video today of how I moisturize my aloe plaits and how I wore my hair out yesterday. 🙏🏾❤️
