One of my concerns is the scenes where the investigators are just shooting away at the enemies. One of the things that made the original so scary and tense was the fact that ammo was scarce. You had to conserve your bullets and choose when to run and when to fight. This preview seems to imply, shoot them all and let Cthulhu sort 'em out.

Pretty standard for a horror game tbf. RE1 is about 7 hours. RE2 is only about 6-8 hours long (I'm not counting the second run because it's just the first run with loads cut out). Silent Hill 2 is about 8 hours. Dead Space 2 is around 9.

That's not too bad. Dead Space is about 8 hours. So was Bioshock. And re7 was about 8 hours if played straight through. Doom 2016 as well. It's not too bad
