He's me, he's you, he's the geezer you met on holiday and chatted about football with, he's the fella who you say hello every morning, the old boy you have a pint with on a Sunday, the chap who looks after your dog when you go away. He's the man you play snooker with or who delivers your parcels, early in the morning, just as day is dawning. This is the story of redundancy and the quest for a new life in the sun, finding a new profession far away in Thailand, living this new life blissfully for nearly two decades and then building a house up North.
