How an Eye Exam Helped Discover a Brain Tumor 

literally happened to my brother a few days ago. saved his life.

I've had two episodes of uncontrolled double vision over the past couple months and now I have to get an MRI to see if I have a brain tumor or not. Odds are that nothing is wrong with me, but I'm definitely worried.

I had my brain surgery my pre surgery I lost my emotiones and feelings because of tumour pressure post brain surgery I have sleeping issue and memory and I am completely numb feelings and emotiones my surgery has been 5 months now physically I am good just fatigue my balance had improved also my vision but I am not normal as mently plz give me some advice thank you

I was very similar for over 2 and a half months i had relly bad simptoms and because my eyes were blurry my mum took me to get my eyes tested they found swelling in the nerves in the back of my eye they sent me to a hospital to get another test then i got sent for a CT scan and sent across the country to another hospital and had an emergency surgery a biopsy and 2 MRIs in 4 days at the age of 13 and i still am ob my journy right now

I just had my Brain tumor surgery 4 months back. I still cant see thru my left eye Idk what to do anymore its really depressing

I have brain tumor i was diagnosed when 15 (I’m 19 now) they can’t take Brian tumor out, i feel like I’m slowly dying, like everything just feels like a dream and I’m not even alive rn, but the worst is that my eyes are really irritated like they sting and hurt and always red, i don’t wanna go blind, I’d 100 times more wanna die than go blind, even tho i don’t wanna die, over a period of time the brain tumor made me not fear death and accept it, it sounds weird but it’s true, this isn’t even half of what I’m going thru, but i experience balance problems, nausea, vision problems, speech problems so it makes it awkward when talking to people, behavior changes, feeling out of my body, can’t feel my legs or arms, and etc, it’s incredibly hard to live with but if i go blind, idk what ima do

If you were my daughter you would not be going to the Eye Doctor. I would rush you to emergency :(

My son had terrible head aches and went for an eye exam then was told to get to the hospital right away. He had a Gliobastoma tumour and we lost him 2 years ago.😢 he was 31

OMG this is so sad.

I had 3 different eye doctors who failed to recognise the issue until someone sent me to their doctor and it took her only 2 minutes with basic methods to identify the problem.
