I cannot thank you enough for the rip. I have always loved Green Day and the addition of Snow Halation made it a mashup of two of my all time favorite songs.

I have a bunch of questions though: 1.) What server in Club Penguin did you went to record all of these? 2.) Were there penguins/players who happen to recognize the Snow Halation lyrics or SiIvaGunner in general when you recorded it? 3.) What Club Penguin Private Server did you use in recording several parts of the rip? That's all. All I can say is that I'm impressed on the effort you have brought. 1. I don't remember, I went with one of the recommended ones. They were all mostly high-pop. 2. I didn't notice anyone other than the dude that said "okay" 3. I think it was cppsio because cppsme was down.
You know a rip is great when it makes you feel emotional even though I've never played the game. (although I knew about the 2008-9 RU-vid). Great job man, this is undoubtedly one of my favourite rip. Hey I wanted to ask what version of Snow Halation was used? It's different from usual upbeat versions, while this one sounded like more.. "grounded"
In my case I can't compose / rip at all, despite having a ton of ideas... Just saying, I have a list of them from a few different games with SOME clever ideas. To name a few: Kirby: Planet Robobot - Puzzle Room (Manly Version) - Plays the To Be Continued on the black screen before the "scare". If you click HET, it takes you to an unlisted video of Yoshikage Kira's death (the ambulance part of it at least) with the Game Over song in the same style as Kira's Theme. As for the other option, it would show Bite Za Dusto... Mega Man 8 - Wood Man - Plays the Mega Man 8 version of Wood Man in mm2wood style... House of the Dead 2 - Emperor Battle (with Intro) - The intro is replaced with a remixed Nutshack. The main part of the tune is Epic Flintstones. Keep in mind though that there's a few based around House of the Dead (given how meme worthy the voice acting is in that game) and the Emperor has the most rips (this one, another involving Dance of Illusions replacing the main tune and one where the theme replaces Dance of Illusions as the Bait and Switch). And several others, some of which involve remixing the original themes into other versions from elsewhere in the series (for example: Cutman with the Powered Up and Mega Man 8 versions).
I believe most memes starts off as inside jokes between the rippers, and they decide to make music out of it and upload it. It's fun to see the meme/idea show up on discord or the siiva ripper's twitter feed a month before it shows up on the siiva channel.
This is still my favourite rip on the channel. Seriously, every couple of months it worms its way back into my brain and I have to look it up and watch it again.
Unrelated to the video, but does anyone remember that version of Good Riddance that someone made when Lost ended? Seriously, I am not kidding when I say that song has been in and out of my head for the past 5 years.
This is some great insight into the work that goes into a rip! Honestly, you did an awesome job. The video goes from a parody to a heartwarming tribute to Club Penguin so smoothly, just as you intended! The last two shots of the iceberg plus the sendoff actually made me stumble a bit, something I didn't expect coming to the video at first! Plus the Snow Halation + Good Riddance made by Chaze went just too well with the atmosphere you set. All in all, you made an amazing contribution to the channel and I really hope you'll continue to!

despite seeing myself on the comments, It's cool that you made it I didn't get too emotional on Club Penguin because I played it again (in a new account) in like 2 years ago and saw that most of the stuff are needing membership unlike way back when when membership was only making you get some of the stuff that are really membership worthy.
This rip is one of the best on the channel, up there with title theme and ending - 7 grand dad, file select fusion, hopes and dreams (beta mix) and all the other amazing tracks on the channel. As a long time fan of siiva (like that changes anything) this is of the highest quality and should be commended as such. And seriously, that rip was some amazing work. Even though i never played Club Penguin that much it really gave perspective to me on how important the game was to people. Keep on memein' my man.
Please explain the creepy black guy rips. Those actually gave me nightmares. Wanna hear about the nightmare? Basically, RU-vid added an option to make it so that your video can't be interrupted via pausing, muting or even CLOSING YOUR DEVICE, and SMG4 was abusing it with similar jumpscarey content, just with l o n g e r videos and even worse imagery. Creepypasta material right there.
I'm a little too old to be part of the Club Penguin crowd, and I don't really have anything to equate it to emotionally. However, I watched the rip and I could tell that there was a lot of love put into it. Having just finished this video and hearing what was needed to get it finished on time is really something I can respect. I know the pains of editing (or at least I used to) so I can relate at least a little bit. Nice work, 123zc1 and Chaze Chat. You did good.
It's great to know how the whole club penguin rip was made, even if i never played club penguin the rip really set the tone of the whole thing and i see how some pople felt touched by this.
Thank you for making such a beautiful, emotionally-enveloping rip. You and Chaze took the iconic modern feel of Snow Halation and juxtaposed it with the fun, past silliness of Club Penguin. I hope you two can continue to make more innovative collaborations!
I just wanted to say... This rip is actually really important to me. It was one of the rips that introduced me in the SiIva universe. Although I knew about the channel and I kinda liked it, it started to become something important this year. Also , I loved Club Penguin and this rip made me shed some tears. Thank you.
I wanted to make a high quality rip by trying to change the structure of the ripped MIDI file to make it sound like a song I'm trying to parody it out of. The idea is still very bright until I got bored of doing because it's too complex and every attempt I make sounds so off sync and poorly managed... then the idea dies out. The SiIvagunner Team must be prodigies at music theory. Can't help but applaud them for all the patience they have at learning and composing it piece by piece.
I like how "good riddance" sounds like a bootleg version of "i've been delayed" which is a club penguin relic, although this was unintentional, I still find it one of the most beautiful parts of the RIP.
I even de-registered mine and it still didn't have the logo. Pretty sure I have an original copy on an old hard drive, maybe it will still work if I never connect it to the internet.

This video was fantastic dont get me wrong but im just wonering how far along you are in the MC actors videos. I've been a kagepro fan since before MKA came out so i'm really hyped for your series
...Also, if this was made by the day Club Penguin shut down, why was it uploaded quite a bit later? Surprised it wasn't allowed to be uploaded as a paused holiday rip.
