they say there are no counters, but there are, they're jsut not meta, to combat off meta you go off meta like fiddle sup with kalista/ezreal adc, I have played this matchup being the fiddle sup and won both times, although I'm very low elo and wasn't against the specific build, I would be a fool to claim I can win against them, but for them to be countered is just a matter of time

Yeah I can confirm. Some dude added me back in 2018 because I was #12 Soraka in NA at one time and asked to duo. Being an extremely introverted Soraka otp I refused and soon after quitted league because I was too shy to delete the guy but too embarrassed to see him on my friend list. I became a lot more outgoing after I got in touch with reality and life has been going up lately. That was the turning point of my life.
I was playing this with my friend just today, and when he hit the 17/0 mark I wondered if there were any high elo players abusing it. Fun coincidence that this video would come out the same day.
@@stevolve8777 You can dodge your promos from D1 to Master a hundred times and basically play against higher players as a duo while your MMR gets inflated. The moment you start playing solo you get like + 30 - 7 lp in Masters

played it a lot at the start of s11, with tp instead of barrier and no flash on both and it is the most fun i had in s11 yet, cant wait to play it again with the tips from this video
In my years of gaming, vc isn't required when your teamate(s) and yourself know your roles and the expected objecteive. It helps in the early on if you don't know what's going on but it tends to just become a vocal spam match from excitement.
I've been trying this lane from time to time ever since Ivern was released and it always crack me up, it's so fun. The hard part is to convince the only good Rengar player I know to play it. It's not a free win, like he said on the video you have to know what each other will do and always play one step ahead. It reminds me of *Cho'Gall* from Heroes of the Storm, if anyone played that game.
very glad this was first video i watched from this channel. i had subbed a while back but didn't have time to watch any videos yet. today was a good coincidence. as an Ivern occasional player, this warms my heart as a support player, this ignites my heart further
Augh, played against this a few times. The first game was just shell shock, we just got destroyed. I don't remember much about the second time but it didn't go well. The third time, we went Zoey and Sivir. We actually had a really good back and forth, won lane by a decent portion before the first tower was down. The Rengar snowballed off of the other lanes and they won, still it was a good game.
Even better than the strategy is the story how it came to be. A Rengar just invites someone around his skill level to play together. Both having different expectations (Ivern going support) basically randomly "trolling" for fun. It works. They continue. They clime further together. A truly amazing companionship. Having fun and just trust the random stranger who you basically meet by accident. The fact that they basically know nothing about each other and still have such a bond is truly heartwarming. (I assume because they never heard each other's voice)
omg this looks so fun to play as a duo, but imagine Rengar Ivern bot teaming up with Addy is helpless top Taric playstyle and a Kindred jungle for ranged dps and 6.5 sec undying ult combo 🙃
I love seeing duos like these. Also I would kind of love to see some videos on old builds and play styles(like years old) that changed the campion. Like the old bruiser Soraka top.

I unironically just recently started playing Rengar bot with a friend of mine as Ivern but lethality in lower Gold elo and gotta say its the most fun inducing bot lane combo i have ever played.
Me and my friend who likes playing volibear and Renekton bot: Yeah, I'd like to see you try If you're wondering how this works, simply you play like a Leona. Once you're level 2 or level 3 simply go full ham. They can't even hide under tower due to voli ultimate, and on top of that they're bruisers who are used to diving under tower so it's honestly really op in any elo unless you fall behind due to stupidness or jungle camps you. Once you're behind it's hard to come back with this duo, but still. Renek stun lasts long and then there's voli stun. Even while behind, if you can catch the adc slacking they're gone

you should make a video like this about champs that are just unpopular for whatever reason like "how a aurelion sol got to challenger" or azir, maybe ryze etc. your videos are nice not because of the off meta picks you feature, but the though process and explanation you give to those picks. i think many champ are unpopular because players dont understand them, so your videos in this style could be very nice to watch for meta picks too. honestly even a top tier meta champ would be very interesting to watch as long as it comes from a player who managed to climb high with it. as i said, your videos are nice because of the though process and explanation you give, it can work with anything, you dont need to limit yourself to off meta picks.
legit just pick rengar adc with any good support its free, morgana, thresh, alistar, shit lke dat. Even bard helps since he offers u a saving grace from ur awful lvl 1

this was actually done before btw. Two guys got to KR Chal with it before you couldn't duo in masters +. But they took tp instead of barrier on rengo and they had a similar build but not the exact same since it wasn't s11. They also had slightly different strats Im p sure

The counter is to kill focus ivern after he protects rengar. The survivability comes from ivern added shield and health to rengars anti cc and stuff. Ivern can't protect him self and rengar at the same time. So once he protects rengar have an assassin kill ivern. I've countered this many times with my reksai. Usually ivern shields the rengar and lays bushes and everyone runs as rengar chases. Then I come in and kill ivern. Without ivern. It's just a basic normal rengar.
I’ve been practicing this comp with a friend and while I don’t reach a positive game often mostly because my CS is TERRIBLE. It’s very fun mid late game when you get tons of bushes. Went like 10/17/14 in a game cause jumping fun.
I love playing ADC and these build combos are the bane of my class pick but god damn is it amazing to see the meta challenged. I personally love seeing it change up. Makes me think of strategies to counter a new problem vs. What other adc am I against?
I've played against this combo before. Our lane got absolutely demolished by it, wonder if it was the same people because this happened a couple years ago.
