Very interesting. Learnt alot about Ankole breeds because I was one of the people who did not understand the hype around these Ankole cows. Hope you'll be posting more content😊🌻.
😅You telling the Lira and Popo story killed me. Reminded me of the movie "Ferdinand". We appreciate the info. I'm venturing into farming and trust me it's alot of work but amazingly profitable and worth it. Either than that, I'm having the time of my life. I'd rather deal with livestock and crops than with people 😂. Your videos have been helpful. Continue the great work, I may just join you soon enough. We need to move as a youth and see what is at our disposal. I'm genuinely bothered by the youth following this lifestyle they can't even cater for.
Sperm nana for selling Not semen .buying livestock over everything love is the way to go***😍😘🙆♂️thumbs up. I subscribe to you my ankole. It's our own promulgation indeed which is pivotal
I’m American, they are popular here, not only on farms but in zoos! It’s kind of funny to see. They are treated like royalty as a zoo specimen. I suppose a good zoo is really like an exotic farm. If they treat the animals right… I’ve seen them, at the San Diego Zoo and Safari park. Its funny because they are kept and displayed in a “Northern Africa” themed exhibit, with Sudan gazelle, Barbary red deer, dromedary camel, Dama gazelle, aoudad (Barbary sheep), scimitar-horned oryx, addax as well as ostriches and large African crowned cranes cranes, Goliath herons, etc. Quite an unusual mixture I think, and definitely not completely “North African”, though some of the animals are. They even used to have some northern white rhinos with the cattle, until they passed of old age… now there are only two northern rhinos left. Protected by security guards in Africa. The only two remaining. 😞 But the reality is, Ankole and Watusi may be somewhat hyped & popular here, and even Europe, maybe… I don’t see them loving the climate of Europe. They will only survive & THRIVE in the driest states of the U.S. and México. Basically, this means Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah…there are other states where they may survive, but more or less, all of these states I have named have very similar weather to South Africa. Especially in the warmer months,-but it does get slightly colder here in winter. Never gets as low as 0°C though. Winters are usually around 20-25°C in California. Still, the cattle seem to do well with heating systems and they eat a bit more. Thank you Mama Africa for creating these beautiful animals. ✌🏽 🙏🏼 🇿🇦 🐮
