I am married to a narcissist. He always talks how his mother lover him, where that woman put him in her heart. His no.4 but controlling everyone in the family. His wrong or right have no say. He mentality is too much in how mother raised him😢😢😢😢😢. I'm really suffering the pain of that woman
I am so sorry that you have to go through this. Narcissists enjoy controlling people, it's in their nature. They will not accept any one's opinion / viewpoint as this is seen as a threat. They believe they are better & smarter than anyone else (grandiosity mindset). The bond & love between him and his mother will always be there. It's a battle you can't win sis. However, he needs to learn to draw the line, put boundaries in place & protect you from his family including his mother. Seek help from church counselling / family therapist, this behavior is not healthy for you and your overall wellbeing. Just know that God loves you & does not desire any of his children to be mistreated in the name of love. Much love, Lindy🥰
It is spiritual, but cultivated by certain bad behaviors which are mostly groomed in childhood at home by parents. When a child becomes an adult, those behaviors are magnified as they were never dealt from childhood. That is why we have to deal with those bad behaviors early on through discipline & teaching kids to be accountable so they don't grow up feeling superior / thinking that there are no consequences for bad behavior.
