How are they so fast? VRC Pro Buenos Aires E Buggy Qualifier April 14 - Netcruzer RC 

NET: I have won a few world championships in VRC offroad. I don't race much due to time but I still know a few tricks. First, on your setup, you only need 37 degrees at most for SPEC except for 2 tracks and Buenos is not one of them. Second, you have to be aggressive with the throttle once straight. Some people change to "CURVE" in their radio as much as 25% and in nitro, even more. If you send me a friends list, I will send you the winning cars setup for that race.

VRC is hard. It doesn't 100% depict real life. You're still good man! These VRC races could be cool. All walks of life on there lol

The game lets you gear up way more aggressively than you could in real life without overheating. Also you could lower your ride height to touring car levels without worrying.

one of the biggest things i've done to help my speeds get faster is to actually set the drag brake to 4 or around 20% (you get two options depending on your setup). Try that and just letting off throttle going into corners and let it do the braking for you, i find since it only drags brake it keeps the car more planted. plus you can get on/off throttle faster because of reduced travel throw.

My usb adapter for my transmitter should be here today so I can start using VRC! Are there any suspension adjustments you can make as well to help with the fish tailing? Was wondering if changing shock oil would help give you a bit more traction. Can't wait to check this out!

Great video and thanks for posting. I spent hours today trying to perfect my setup on this track. The fastest I could go was mid 44's but not consistent enough. I was wondering what your brakes are set at? Turn 2 is difficult for me to be consistent

Man, I am not good at VRC Pro. Just bought it 2 days ago, so I can't expect to be middle of the pack right away, though I am ok at RC driving IRL so I kinda thought that would give me more of a leg up than what I'm seeing. My $450 laptop from 2012 can only seem to run the game smoothly on the lowest settings, which I wouldn't expect to be a disadvantage since it can hold 60 fps like that, but the one thing I've considered might have some influence to the driver's sensory inputs is the shadows. Turning shadows on bogs my laptop down heavily, but I'm not sure if I'd drive any better if I could turn them on.

Are you still using a traxxas radio? They are tough to race consistently with.

So dumb question... How does one customize controller settings? I've tried everything I could think of once I'm in the controller customization screen, but the best I've been able to achieve is to have "X axis -" appear in whatever value field I click. It's coming up with throttle and steering channels reversed by default. I suppose I could program a custom model into my radio with CH1 and CH2 swapped, but theoretically it should be easier to change in game, lol. Also, can anyone fill me in on how Steam fits into this picture? I downloaded VRC Pro after learning of its existence when I decided to see if an RC car simulator worth checking out might exist in 2020. I went to the main website for the game, and it's billed as "free to play", but a few glances around the screens resulted in a "Yeah, not really." impression pretty quick. It looked like by paying just shy of 50 euros, you'd get access to, if not most to all of the content, at least plenty to keep one entertained a while, for 6 months. So I'm assuming it's a monthly membership licensing model. Shortly thereafter, I realized it's also available on steam, with the price for the base package appearing to be ~$18.00 and it looked like tons of DLC at about $5 a pop, which appeared to be a car or track each. So can you choose one time payment on Steam, but then have to buy any DLC you want separately vs. the monthly fee directly to VRC World giving you access to a lot more but only as long as you maintain the membership? Or is going through Steam effectively just paying for the convenience of using Steam, but you still have to pay VRC World monthly? I hope this doesn't turn out to drain your wallet more effectively than the real thing. 😉

I can’t figure out how you are getting 44 second laps. No matter what I try I cant get a lap faster than 48 seconds and can’t think of anywhere to pick up 4 seconds. I bet I have logged a thousand laps in this track just to try and match your time.

Your top speed looks lower play with your gearing. Changing that may change your drive train feel front and rear diff’s

His motor is geared for lower top end than yours. That's how he makes his time
