I love this woman. I sense such kindness, power, and authenticity from her. I'm so grateful God brought her into my life, when she preached Good Ground! At the 100min mark that hit me where I'm hurting. My spirit feels like it's being cut and the lesions don't even heal before they're ripped open again. Every area of my life is a dam that's burst open. God please stop decreasing everything. Except my weight! You can go ahead and help me decrease that cuz I'm working my butt off and seeing no results lol!

My God, my God, my emotions are not sin because Christ was touched with them yet there was no sin in Him. Thank You God for revealing the root.

It's OK, not to be OK, BECAUSE. Jesus Christ KNOWS the Worst things about US, But HE loves and cares for US the Most, THANKING GOD, forever, always, he's more than ENOUGH, to get US thru it.

Whenever I feel overwhelmed by my emotions God always leads me to Isaiah 51: 12 “I, I am he who comforts you; who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, of the son of man who is made like grass.” Many of us still don’t know how to approach God as our comforter, we’ve learned how to worship him, praise him and study his word but we don’t know how to be still and be comforted and consoled by him in our deepest areas of hurt. I’m extremely bad at this, when I felt anxious in the past, I would run to other things to numb my anxiety and force my emotions into a happy state ( but doing that eventually led to me developing addictions -which I had to rely on God to deliver me from). I realized that running from my emotions or hiding them from God never solved my problem. Thank you Dr. Anita for giving me steps to analyze my negative actions towards myself. Your first step- detaching condemnation from the failings, really blessed me. I’m going to use this format for analyzing my decisions from now on 🙏🏾😊 what am I doing, what am I thinking, what am I feeling and what do I know

I was honestly having a tumultuous year and today I felt genuinely bad for not making it to church but I am so financially emotionally and mentally exhausted…. I came hearing God telling me to watch this sermon and I have been crying on my bed…. My house looks a mess and after intensely been honest with God today, I found the strength to actually clean up the kitchen and I know it’s God

I love the breakdown of this therapeutic message. It was a great addition to last Sunday's message by Bishop Showell. I was able to put this into practice today. Thank God for this anointed woman of God.

Dr. Phillips is a teacher/preacher for this generation especially, specifically for the millennials. As a boomer I thank God for her anointing and gifts.

I loved this. I felt that I could (even if just for that moment), take off the mask and attempt to identify my pain, even if I dont fully understand. Distress has been trying to write my story for so long and although I take some missteps, I'm thanking the Lord for my progress, because I'm not who I used to be. Thank you for this message. 🙏🏾

This is crazy how accurate this is… Grief and the whys is what I need to know to be healed. I have told God how broken I am to heal my heart. I cried so hard that my tears didn’t fall but still cried so hard that I ran out of tears to cry. I asked so much and the only thing that helped literally took the pain away wasn’t God it was alcohol and medical mmj. Seriously I tried but eventually over time I will heal. It’s time that heals it’s God who gives us strength the faith of a mustard seed grows too eventually. Glimmers of hope and glimmers of relief happens rarely more than what I ever used to have daily all day I still say God is good and knowing he’s working when I feel nothing, He’s working when I drank that wine, and he’s working, when I see the same cycle of not working daily. I know life is hard, it only makes me wonder what other hard I will go through because I was destroyed and almost took out, but wasn’t taken out but very close. I don’t even know what that means considering I live for my children but that nervous breakdown I suffered put definitions in these words. I am still grieving it’s been 4 long years but my grief graduated immensely these past 3 yrs. Well, moving forward with God knowing Jesus is in my presence when I call on him and I have to see what God’s Will is because it’s been the longest 40 yrs of abuse and suffering He’s definitely sustained me

The name of my storm is everything. I don't know what or why I can't let things from the past and present go. I know that I'm broken in my heart and spirit. I do have some and faith, but I'm just hurt. This sermon gave me some comfort, but I'll try to get better. I'm ok, but I'm not ok emotionally 😔

I had seen this video suggestion for days but because it wasn't Bishop Jakes, I wasn't pressed to watch but...Dr. Phillips' gave "me" a crash course on "me". I am a thinker. I am very analytical and being a Born Again Christian who is analytical is often literally a war of the mind. I was a perfectionist and a Christian legalist which is the wrong thinking. I was the quintessential "good little church girl" but inside, my mind was always talking to me that I had failed in some area and then the condemning would start. I feared God and never felt worthy of His grace and mercy. I thought that being a "good Christian", I was never to be tempted, never fall, never fail, never be sick, always speaking those things that are not as though they were... until my sister died from cancer. My sister wasn't just my sister but my friend, my protector, my second parent, my cheer leader, my support system and my defender. I was very shy and easily intimidated and often the target for poison darts but she'd step in deflect them. My sister died from metastatic breast cancer at 54. Before she was diagnosed, I believed God literally for everything. My faith did not waver. If He said do it, I did it. I had laid hands on the sick and they were healed. I had laid hands on strangers who were terminal and they were healed. The proof was medically documented. One 90 year old woman was healed from stage 4 cancer. When her daughter took her to the doctor, the x-rays showed nothing was left but scar tissue. When I prayed, my hands literally emitted oil. I could walk by people and the demons would cry out rrcognizing who I was or the sick would ask me to pray. When we found out that she was dying, even in her pain, she tried to protect me from the knowledge of her disease. I knew God was going to heal her beyond the shadow of a doubt. Why wouldn't He? I was His bride, saved since 9 and taught to war by mom who was a mother in the church and the pedigree goes on but my sister, my Ruben died. I was born to my parents when they were menopausal. All of my siblings except one is old enough to be my parents and in most cases, they treated me like "Joseph" so her death shook me to my core. I nearly lost my mind and for a time, my peace, my desire to pray, serve, believe and I was angry at God, my Father, Daddy because the thing that I desired most died... How could God deny me? I had lived what most thought was a perfect life and He had the gall to let her die? She not only died but died alone. I was there with her every day but the one morning that I didn't go, she gave up the ghost and died. My eldest brother told me to stop it, to stop acting out and to stop crying and get over it but I couldn't. I grieved and lamented, pouted, refused to pray, was afraid to pray because I wasn't sure if He'd answer. Years passed and I finally shared my brokenness with God, my honest feelings, my anger, my disappointment that He let her die and the failure that I took personally for her death like I wasn't saved enough, believed enough that she'd live. I realize that I couldn't will her to live and she was ready to go home. I would be a witch if I overrode her desire to see Christ. This knowledge healed me mentally and spiritually. I was always honest with God to not lie in the flesh but didn't realize that I wasn't honest in my feelings. I realize that it isn't of works lest I boast and it was filthy menstruous rags (literal translation). I walk in my humanity knowing that God is still my Daddy, He loves me and when I was in my feelings, He didn't cast me away for them.

Holistic, comprehensive, revelatory, fresh anointed, mana, Holiness word. Thank you for your obedience, consecration, and service in ministering to us. 🙏🏿❤🙌🏾⛪🫂🕊

My God! I have marinated in this message for 3 days! I am a professional therapist who has spoken this message to my clients and family for years and I have felt alone without support in my beliefs. But no longer do I feel alone Jesus clearly stated reading from Isaiah that his first ministry was to "heal the brokenhearted" Luke 4:18. Thank you, Dr. Anita Phillips Much love and respect to you!

I just saw this because I fell asleep and my time is different to yours. I am not okay , I am not okay ... I feel Spiritually starved although I am feeding daily on the word ... I am not okay because I am Emotionally trapped to what was and what God has in store for me .. I am not okay because I live alone and I do feel lonely at times even though I know God said He is with me . I want to be okay so I will continue to read his Word and allow God to Guide me on my journey of not being okay until that day when I WILL BE OKAY .

I’m so glad these two powerful women have a thorough understanding of Theology and Psychology and delivered this Word like careful surgeons- they helped us understand that God is not divorced from our psychological needs and that there is a healthy way we can process our emotions. Honestly, the church could have benefited from practical sermons like these years ago. At least for me, but I’m thankful for evolving knowledge and understanding of his Great, Wise, and Compassionate God. He created us in His image!! No need to be ashamed of how we’re made!❤️

I experienced a stroke on 8/25/23. It has left me unemployed still awaiting disability payments. My Mortgage and car is in jeopardy of repossession and I will be homeless. I have been feeling grief and fear. Releasing these feelings have been difficult buy hope still resides. Please keep me in prayer. This word have empowered me, Thank you

I found this quote in a book entitled The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence which was written in the 16th century! To hear Dr. Phillips express the same sentiment in the 21st century lets me know that His truth endures through all generations. Psalm 100:4.

Last year Aug 13.20 I was in a traumatic accident hit by a semi truck 6 weeks pregnant and unconscious made it out with 4 injuries and Subdural hematoma. although I lost everything my child🥺 my car, my memory, almost my home, I can honestly say a year later I still grief I don't know when I will be healed but this message reminded me that god is able to do exceedingly Abundantly above all that we we ask or think! I know him and trust him🙏🏾 ❤️
