He was a hired government hit man but things turned against him and he ended up in prison for 25 years. #trending #documentary #viralvideo #roadto100k #njerainicitu #relationship #reels #celebrity #mustwatch
Sad story from the witty and couragious man. I was in remand in Kamiti and though not for very long the scars remain 27 years later. I would like to employ this man for a while welding and painting, then send him on his way with welding equipment and some cash to establish himself near his home to reunite with his family.
This guy just delivered, told the story as it were, no sugar coating, brutally honest. Tragic as it is, his humour neutralized it all. He deserves HELP. Superb coverage.
I was locked in saudia arabia for six months for helping a kenyan lady to escape but how I felt it's a big story,am trying to feel 25yrs..it's not a joke..God bless you
This is the most sobering testimony I have listened to without distraction. The narrator's experience is heart-wrenching, his composure is captivating. If he lived in a country where the rule of law is respected and upheld, he should sue the State and the prison for injury and irregular imprisonment. Kudos to the interviewer -- very professional, empathetic, and has a listening ear for content. Good job!

and to the young man interviewing, you are on a path towards being the journalist of his time. good interjections and directing the story. thank you too
I have never sat this long to listen to such captivating story. Kipyegon is charismatic in his story telling. God give him all the necessary help as he handed him second lease of life.
What an inspiring story!! Kipyegon, you'll go very far. That committal warranty was not given to you for a reason. That is what got you out. Though the devil stole your 25 years, God has the ability to restore to you the time the locust ate. As for the interviewer, you are one of the best I have ever heard. Your patience, no-unnecessary interruptions, keeping to the flow of the story, empathetic nature, comments of encouragement makes you the very best in the industry. Very few of Kenya's interviewers are like you. Well done!
Am sorry for what you went through. Your sense of humour makes me laugh despite your sad experience. May God help you regain everything you lost during those hard and miserable 25 years.
Tell Him if he happens to be in kericho, i Will give him all kinds of brushes that he needs. I have hardware in kericho town sambuza street, sababu ni mtu anajua kericho anitafute. My shop inaitwa. Rure hardware
There is something that is just likeable about this guy-Kipyegon. HE is very charismatic, captivating and great story teller. Since he is a news reader in his own rights, he should consider among other things doing counselling in prisons, hospitals and schools......or even write a book later in life. AS someone said, the fact that he wasn't given that Committal document (Warranty) that was NOT an accident. God had plans for him because that is the very reason as to why he is out. The host is also a great interviewer. HE did it without any interruption and just let Mr. Kipyegon's story flow. HE let him tell his story without any interruption. We are glad. For those who can, let's please assist him in whatever way we can. There is no little help. The guy who gave him that small brush boosted him a great deal.
Thank God for the grace & humility in this guy. It's unbelievable how he does not hold grudge or have immense bitterness for those who did him injustice. May God open divine doors for him.
I don't know for sure but he and fellow prisoners should have been or should be compensated for injuries sustained during the alleged accident enroute to kisumu from naivasha. I can attest that this man is eloquent reformed and oozing wisdom to would be offenders. He needs help and support.
Nuru, Omosh and the rest should learn something from this humbled man if you are not a government official politicians we use you once you are arrested you will never see them again leave them alone am deeply touched God will do something you are a good guy politicians ruined your beautiful life
Well said bro, when will people learn honestly, ukiwaona apo wakisema they are redy to die no 1 wud wish to die na risasi ikilia hakuna mwenye anabaki apo
I have never sent anyone cash, this was my first because but this guys story was very touching. May GOD open doors for you. Hope to meet him one day when I come to Kenya. GOD might just open a door to get that shamba back. Mungu akubariki sana.
This should be a great lesson to our youth! A visit to Gitamara prison clearly depicts the deplorable condition that those used by politicians to execute the 1994 Rwanda genocide are living in. Yet those who incited them had financial powers to run into exile.
I can't believe I have watched this from start to finish...at one time I had to scold my little daughter for making noise thus interrupting my concentration...Kipyegon, God will come through...you're talented...kudos to the host...you're a good one...asking the right questions with little interruptions...the story was flowing smoothly like a novel!...this gives me a good reason to subscribe to this channel which I just bumped into while roaming around RU-vid!
The interviewer is a very professional one. He has no unnecessary interjections to like others wr have witnessed and is clearly empathetic to the narrator. As God change the life of this man who gas seen hell real life my God lift you to heights.
Everyone is fighting a battle no one knows about.... i appreciate this man for giving me the heart to thank God for everyday in my life and fight on and conquer every problem that comes my way.....kipyegon ur such a nice guy! May God grant you many more years to be a successfull man in life!
God is going to bless the work of your hands. May God return the years the conkworm ate. God is forever faithful. I love the host and this man. No bitterness.
I will not take for granted the freedom I have. Really am so grateful to God. Have learned a lot from our brother, this life needs no one to give up. There is hope again. You are strong brother.
*To the beautiful soul reading this, You may going through something but GOD got you. He didn't bring you this far to leave you. We don't know each other but I wish you all the best life 2023 and beyond.🙏🏽*
What a story, but the saddest part of this story is where he has brothers and sisters, but they can't support him despite the experience he got. Nway, God is God.
Oh my goodness, I wish the youth can learn from this guy and know how politicians manipulate them. And when they get into trouble, this politicians are not concerned, even in death. You or your family suffer alone 😢😢😢😢 kilio
How i wish we can hold hands through the itugi tv we can raise something for him to start over again and maybe buy back his land. Ancestral home is always the best
Thank you so much Kipyegon for sharing your story. 25 years is a long time to be locked up. May you hold on to Jesus until you find complete, endless freedom in heaven. As we go on in this life on earth, keep in REPENTANCE, be HOLY and RIGHTEOUS in everything. The LORD will walk you
Story is full of lessons for youths and family members and community at large . Kipyegon please accept the little cash for todays meal .God will help you thru. Sorry for your misfotunes but you have enlightened many
