Dear sister, "The beginning and the end" does not mean one who has beginning and end but He who had been before anything began and He who will be there (forever) when every other things have ended, i. e, the eternal One. That eternal God is a Spirit, and He should be worshipped in Spirit and truth, not through any physical objects. If you say Christianity is a story they gave us, then so is isese too. Our generation met "the story" on ground also. Secondly, everybody may have the right to claim that his/her deity is the true eternal God, but by their fruits/character we shall know them, not a matter of which one is foreign or native. If you cannot call some white men fools/bastard for coming to learn ifa from yoruba land and take it to their land, then we who received Christ also know what we are doing. It is a matter of what you are convinced to be the true and good one for you. All I surely know is that that true, living eternal God is the God of universal love, peace, righteousness, justice etc as revealed to us by Christ and that which true christianity stands for. Religion is a personal thing but when it contradict humanity or constitute a danger to human life, freedom and dignity, it becomes evil/satanic which is to be condemned by all. I don't believe in ifa/any idol, but that all humans irrespective of their religion, are God's creature to be loved, respected and be fair to until they have shown themselves as unrepentant evil doers. Grace.
Madam, in as much as i love your dedication to Yoruba tradition, please try and stay on your lane for the purpose of integrity and dignity. Yahweh does not mean "Lord Ruins." As a matter of fact. I had never heard it defined as you erronously defined it. For the purpose of education, here is the meaning. Yahweh is the name of God in the Old Testament and the state god of the ancient Kingdom of Israel and Judah. The name is made up of four Hebrew consonants, YHWH, which is also known as the Tetragrammaton. The Tetragrammaton is based on the Hebrew word for "being" and may come from a verb that means "to be", "to exist", "to cause to become", or "to come to pass". The name's meaning has been interpreted as: "I am" "He That Is" "He Who Makes That Which Has Been Made" "He Brings Into Existence Whatever Exists" "I am who I am" "I will be what I will be" "I am the One who is" Thank you
To follow your logic, since you refer to God as a "HE", there must be a female God too, right? Otherwise, the mode of your statement defies law of balance and symmetry, which is fundamental to any physical existence!
