I tried to talk just about the meta, not the game as a whole, the PVP dynamics, the game mechanics, the gameplay feel, or anything else! I know there are a lot of other things to talk about (Normalization, skills, strategies people are using, and PVP mechanics), but those type of things will be in a future video after World tier 5 drops!
Ak plays there’s so much wrong with pvp right now i can’t even get to caring about the metas. agree with everything you’re saying though, especially about specing into sniper for one shot headshot kill (which there should be)
I don’t see what’s wrong with drops in conflict, it’s like weapon spawns in halo- it catalyzes engagement. The issue I have is that it drops randomly. It should drop in a difficult to claim area. The real problem in conflict is poor map design combined with low TTK. These make locking your opponents in one area for numerous spawns very easy. I also care less about vector/shotgun/shield because it forces close fights that are more fun than taking random shots at range. I do think the lifesteal is a bit overturned for PvP. The defender drone is too strong because it comes back when you die (conflict and DZ), and one shot snipers should require a 100% investment in build to achieve the one-shot. It’s just not engaging when everyone can drop you with little effort at such a range. Sounds like a lot of this is set to change, so we’ll see!
That is true Charles, the healing rate on the vector build is too much, and I think the upcoming changes to the safeguard talent should help that a little, but more may need to be done!
One Shots are fine as long as u fully spec into it, 1 gold gun and grey gear shouldn't be enough. Thats the issue. Speccing into Defensive stats should save you from the 1 shot but it doesnt.
@@Cryptonomous sorry I don't agree . and I think most people would agree that they don't want to be one shotted just because someone seen them first and not because they are a better player
@@cbrandocbrando1764 you dont agree what? Take away all 1 shot potential and whats the point of Snipers then? You want them to be irrelevant like they were in TD1? House n LW Meta was boring af. DeadEYE required no skill. If you want to avoid getting 1 shot you should have to spec into Toughness. If you want to 1 shot you should have to spec fully into damage but you wont be able to 1 shot those who build against it. Thats balance.

@@himbri4n I just laughed so hard at that imagery! lol It does look like an upside down bowling pin! Also I agree Striker, the movement doesn't look anywhere near as fluid or smooth as Div 1!
Hey Harish! Not really, I still have the old habit of doing a slight strafe, but using cover well and even rolling are probably better options! They did a lot to get rid of the chicken dance fights in this game!
Sorry Sebastian, I may have not made the distinction clear enough! The meta builds (Vector, sniper, shotgun, and shield) are crazy strong, and that could be ok in theory because it may end up like a bunch of super builds fighting it out, but they don't counter each other well at all, so in reality it ends up being a lot of really sudden or underwhelming deaths! I talk more in depth about the builds at 4:55, and that may better explain why some are seen as OP and my opinions on if they are and what changes may be needed, if any!
