In this episode we will test our 90's banger bike projects again, this time at the Hanmer Springs MTB Skills Park in the beautiful Hanmer forest! The GT Karakoram and Diamondback Ascent are a bit heavier than what Pablo and I are used to riding and with the aim of completing all the challenges on all three skill levels (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced) this could be a recipe for disaster! Our initial goal was to build cool resto-mod 90's mountain bikes with a budget of $300NZD, which was successful thanks to our friends at Around Again Cycles - A mecca of used bikes, components and most importantly knowledge and advice! So, now that they're built it's time to find out if they're any good! Lets do this!
