Hoping they really work on the confidence between Milroe and his O-Line and get him more comfortable with other options than throwing deep. But Texas played a great game, props to them! ROLL TIDE!!! True Bama fan here. I love this video because that’s how I feel about the loss. Yeah it hurts to lose after beating on them for so long but that’s what we like to see in a team improving and recruiting better talent to have a shot at defeating us. This loss will only make us stronger and 10 points is not the end of the world but a second loss will take us down😂👏🏾

That was for Colt McCoy! Quinn Ewers got his revenge too! The past decade has been difficult for Texas, but Steve Sarkisian learned from the best and I feel like the Longhorns are finally going in the right direction. Y'all will bounce back pretty easily from this loss, and I'll be rooting for the Tide to go win the SEC. One thing you can do for us is when you beat A&M, tell them that there's nowhere to run and we're coming for them! Hookem' Horns!

Fans definitely have to step it up. They actually booed the coaches (and maybe players) during the game - when we were down by four. It’s ridiculous. The coaches and players work very hard, and booing them is very disrespectful. It’s also very entitled - especially given the greatness (and spectacle) that the team has given us for over a decade. Most fans never have that experience. Basically, the team deserves much better than that. Regardless of the score or even their record, the team has earned our support.

Thanks to Alabama I have to hear several weeks of Texas is back. Why did you do this to us?

Can we just take a moment to talk about how the receivers have improved so much from last year especially Jermaine Burton. they’ve emerged as a strength of the offense ( other than the runningback but they Bama they always good at that)Jalen Milroe and the offensive line performance completely overshadowed them. Just need to find a guy who can throw it to him. Reminds me of the Jalen and Tua situation all over again

These close games are really what football should be more about. It's difficult when we're accustomed to winning all the time but this will bring out the true players and the true fans. The young ones who have only followed Alabama while they've been a dynasty don't get it and we'll soon find out if they actually love Bama or if they just love championships.

It’s def a top ten loss since 2008. Our line cannot pass block. Also, there better be open tryouts for center this week. On Defense, our defensive backs disappeared in the fourth quarter. We know they are better than what we saw last night. I may have missed it, but I didn’t see one player that looked mad at the end of the game. Everyone loves to win. Winners hate to lose. Didn’t see that.

I hate to say it, but I really think we're witnessing Saban's slow downfall the past 2 seasons. The dynasty can't last forever unfortunately and it's disheartening, but the transfer portal and NIL isn't Saban's style. It really started 2 seasons ago, but we know and have heard plenty of times that Bryce covered up or made us blind to many of the mistakes. Bama went from being one of the top 2 most disciplined teams in the SEC each season and always near the top in college football, to the bottom or 2nd to last in the SEC, and bottom part of all colleges the last 2 seasons with this being the third. Saban likes to have almost total control of his team, and when there's young players making hundreds of thousands to millions each season and can transfer the second they get hurt or upset, it creates an atmosphere that's breaking down all of what Saban's system or machine. It's the main reason he left the nfl (other than the small part of Miami not getting drew Brees)... He couldn't discipline the players and they basically did what wanted to. Saban has yet to figure out how to motivate these young men in this changing time of college football. Other coaches have figured out how to discipline these players, but we're going into the 3rd season of the NIL and transfer portal being the new way, and Saban's team is once again incredibly undisciplined and players are more nervous/jittery than in the past and other teams. There's alot more than just the discipline being an issue, but it's too much to write on here. I really wish I was wrong, but Alabama isn't one of the elites anymore. They will still be a good top 10-15 team this year, but Saban's teams will not be built like they once were, as recent as 4 years ago. Roll Tide! ....and Saban thank you for EVERYTHING you have done over the last 17 years.

As a lifelong Texas fan, I know all too well the pain Alabama fans are feeling right now. I think it's probably safe to say that the Nick Saban era peaked a few seasons ago and that their historic dominance of college football is now in the rearview mirror. Not that they're a bad football at all, just not what they've been for what seems like eternity. But all dynasties come to an end eventually. That said, we may never see a program have the success they've had or a coach like Saban.

First, Thanks FunnyMaine. I've enjoyed watching these videos for years. What, no “Go on Jalen!” ? Each year I watch the spring game and this year was no different. This year I saw 4 QBs in action and my pick was the Ty Simpson for the starting QB job. Sure, he doesn’t have the experience Jalen Milroe or Tyler Buchner. But Ty looked better than Jalen and Tyler albeit the spring game is not the same pressure cooker as a game like Texas. My problem with Jalen is when the ball is centered he immediately follows his targeted receiver and lacks focus on reading the defense. Hence the interceptions against Texas. Jalen failed to read the defense and missed the “spy” laying in wait for the interception. To Jalen’s credit, he has made some REALLY nice on the money throws. Against MTSU Jalen was 13 for 18 for a team total of 5 TDs, two that were Jalen’s running. Again Texas, Jalen was 14 for 27 with 2 INTs that lead to Texas Touchdowns. Jalen attempted to run the ball when he got in trouble against Texas. And he was in trouble. A LOT. Jalen was sacked 5 times and I stopped counting hurries. Jalen is quick and strong, but he’s not Jaylen Hurtz. I didn’t like Hurtz scrambling with the ball either, but at least he knew when to get rid of the ball. I’m sure Milroe will get coached up this week before South Florida. I’m sure the O-line will get coached up too. Everyone will get coached up. They’ll all have calluses on their rear ends when it’s done and over. I’ll be watching the South Florida game closely next week because we all know Ole Miss is coming for us. Along with every other opponent on the schedule who saw Alabama play poorly against Texas. They’ll all be wanting to get a piece of BAMA too. Trying to keep it real. BAMA is my team and always will be. There’s a lot to improve on.
