Only when there are more indigenous business the gdp per capita will grow as these businesses provide jobs to local people more easily. Also diversification is needed in products. Being a Bangladesi I would like to mention that we don't have diversified economy. As we are heavily dependent on RMG and foreign remittance, in future if these two sectors collapse the economic growth may go down. So it is high time to think about diversification. The Government can push financial organizations to invest in new industries.

This is really amazing the way in which inexperienced first generation entrepreneurs have built RMG industry from zero within 4 decades. Since forefathers of these first generation entrepreneurs excelled in textile manufacturing only 200 years back before the savage imperialists invaders colonized Bengal, it may be in their blood. RMG entrepreneurs are always willing to take risk even after a very business non -friendly ambiance is being created by our corrupt bureaucrats. Once we are able to create a one stop digital based service delivery system bereft of bureaucratic red tapism , sky will be the limit not only making Bangladesh a textiles and RMG haven but business hub of IT, pharmaceuticals, leather and leather goods and agro- processing industries including quality shrimp cultivation and processing as well. Post- script: Some overenthuastic and ignorant blokes tend to scratch out a line or so of my text without even understanding the meaning of those lines. I have said that, had there been not such a business non-friendly ambiance created by our corrupt bureaucrats , our entrepreneurs could have excelled even Vietnam in bringing in export proceeds ( for Bangladesh has ranked 164 among 173 countries in terms of "doing business ambiance" according to WTO report last year).
