How Barbara Walters landed a career as a journalist: 20/20 ‘Our Barbara’ Part 3 

Her Dad, Lew Walters, was my grandfather's agent. He ran a nightclub called The Latin Quarter and knew just about everybody in show biz at that time. She didn't exactly come from nothing, but her career and her groundbreaking work should be celebrated.

What an iconic life and career, there will never be another.

I loved Barbara because she asked questions we all wanted the answers too that many interviews would not ask!

Barbara was a trailblazer and an icon in journalism she opened the door for all women condolences

I think she was pretty and I, as well, as a lot of people, love to hear her talk. I believe part of her appeal was how feminine she was.

she had to wait until Frank McGee passed away to officially be named “co-host” of Today and now the two current co-hosts are both women.

Barbara was attractive.

It looks like she had a nose job done very early on in her career and possibly other work done on her face. But why??? She honestly thought she wasn't beautiful? That just wasn't true!
