I think that people don't like her bc they feel like she got famous without putting in the work. (But I completely agree she dosen't really deserve the hate at all, much love to her)
i think she first got a lot of hate/cancelled cause of her tattoo which depicted the sun rising flag that Japan used during the WW2 but please do educate me and let me know more about it cause i can’t find anything that’s relevant enough or unbiased
To everyone who gets mad why she acts like a child. Let her be. She's trying to enjoy the freedom and a childhood like life she never had. I hope you understand her now.
She most likely wouldn't have been angry inside, when people go through the same stuff day after day it loses effect and there's no longer any anger just lingering and compressed emotions along with if she was opening up about it she is most likely holding no more grudges about it considering alot of people would not open up about such big things in an interview if they were not over it or atleast able to stay calm internally and on the surface.
She probably saves that for when she's alone... Sometimes, dissociation helps and she may have healed and understands what they did to her 💔 And I'm glad she's safe from them to be able to talk about them bc e w w w, many children don't survive! Certain ppl know they shouldn't be parents but they still take advantage of kids anyway!!! Depl ora ble🥴☹😥
ikr? They literally got Bella as their servant which is completely messed up. This is why the saying goes "kids deserve parents but not all parents deserve kids."
@@noboney3312 it's normal here too in Swaziland, I'm a 12 year old girl and I work like crazy outside. As in feeding goats, chickens and cows, cleaning the whole house and handling 8 dogs without being harmed.
I don't know why people dislike Bella it's not her fault that she got famous for that one tiktok she doesn't control her followers so what's the reason to hate on her? She's unproblematic adorable and has talent
This is why Bella is the best tiktok star, she isn’t problematic and she makes ACTUAL good music. Instead of the obsessed, fuck boy etc etc, I feel bad for her and I just want to hug her. I hope she has forgot about the abusive past
Pretty sure someone is gonna comment someone about the rising sun tattoo that is already over for over 6 Fucking months🗿or say she's racist cause of her black friend code name
@ukindxb music is base on people's preferences some people might like it and some don't . So don't go around telling people their song is bad and they should stop cause your not a professional
Bella doesn’t deserve all the hate she gets. I remember when people would hate on her over her most famous tik tok video, and complain how stupid she was because she got famous over bopping her head. She never asked to be famous, people made her famous. It sucks to see people who have been through so much in life, and people continue to judge them without knowing the persons hardships. I’m happy she’s at a place in her life where she is happy and successful.
yeah. Now that most people know her past, im glad they are sending positivity at her. Bella didn’t deserve what she had went through. I’m happy she’s happy now.
In her Old instagram pictures 2017, there's a caption "I don't ever want to go back home ", that explains a lot And her mom nicknamed her "stupid bitch", now I understand that "build a bitch " is much deeper than I could ever think of
The audacity of her stepparents to try and contact her after everything...I hope she's in a better place without them and is recovering from her grandmother's passing
It’s even worse because her stepdad literally told her to never come back, this is not your home anymore when he dropped her off to the navy. Now that she is rich and successful they’re pretending to be good parents.
As a survivor of child abuse, I am extremely proud of spirit and how she refused to let it be broken. Her story touches me on a very personal level and I appreciate her bravery in sharing it, maybe oneday I will be able to share mine too ♥️
@@jadennnl I mean I’m not really a fan of her and I get annoyed with people who get famous for next to no reason at all but fuck you for saying anyone deserves mental and physical abuse
Yeah like at school people bully me but they don't know about my backstory not like my parents abuse me or something but something happened that my parents and no one knows except for one person which is the person who did it to me
Here in the Philippines, things like what happened to Bella are STILL happening. People give birth to children and use them for cheap (free) labor. I wasn't even shocked at what her stepdad did to her because it's so common here for kids who grew up in poor families. Some kids even experience so much worse things. I'm really glad that she was able to overcome all the shit she went through and become successful. I wish her more success and happiness in the future
Okay? And what do you suggest happens? This is about Bella…this is her story it’s good to focus on HER right now because it’s HER story. Comparing other people or comparing other abusive families to hers is just plain wrong. I understand ur trying to be nice but this is about her.
The stepmom is equally as guilty. She was in the same house. Guilty by association. She did nothing and fear is no excuse for not standing up to abuse. - abused person
@@zeejeyy2521 but if it were you do u think its acceptable to let YOUR CHILD go through the same experience as you? Mothers are suppose to protect their chikdren at all costs
@@l0via359 Yeah...But HOW can I protect MY CHILD when I'M abused too? When you think of it it's like our life is in my husbands hands. She can be Scared (By the fact that he's an Army veteran?), blackmailed and threatened. But yeah FATHRS/MOTHRS are supposed to protect their children at all costs. (And I'm just a teen who have seen worst)
She's so talented and cute. I really hope she is feeling better. Yall hated her for acting childlike, but that is a result of a dificult and traumatizing childdhood, so please let her have the childhood she never had. I see a big future for this amazing singer and woman!
"Apparently it's part of Filipino Culture to mind your own business and not to get into others family matters" That's accurate. When I was younger all I would hear was screaming everyday (my parents). Thought it was normal and pretty sure that influenced me and my brother since we fight alot and we're always screaming. It even got physical most of the time. Now that I'm a bit older I'm still surprised we never got any noise complaints. Now I'm just waiting till I'm old enough to get a job and older to move out.
Agree ako na may mga ibang parents talaga na walang pake sa mga anak nakakita na ako ng ganyan pero naalala ko yung mga maritez at mosang dito hindi ma mind yung own business nilaHAHAHAA (skl hehe)
Wholely agree.. I have neighbors here screaming as if they gonna murder each other... And we the neighborhood won't really care... It's their business and shit... There was another Neighbor here where the father was Punishing his kid and the kid was screaming... But we don't give much of it because it's their own business to do that... That's how it is here in the Philippines. We don't give a fuck, we only care if the kid is dead.
@@Eff_Average_109 no tiktoker is realistically "talented" They have special qualities about them I guess. (being funny, good looking, can kinda dance, etc). Don't shame them for being famous, you made them famous. And saying she's using her trauma for clout is really fucked up. Stfu and leave
I don't particularly dislike her or hate her, she just doesn't interest me. But she isn't problematic and she's not hurting anybody, so i don't see why she gets hate. She doesn't deserve it, and i sympathize with her aswell. Poor girl :/
Her step dad probably suffered from depression , anxiety , PTSD and even shell shock if he was a veteran. People like him flip from time to time. It's not an excuse for the abuse , but he was battling some serious demons of his own. It's ironic that she joined the armed forces like her step dad.
Yes and it wasn't mentioned in the video (idk why) but Bella said she was really happy when she joined the navy bc she felt like it was a vacation for her being away from such a terrible household
The saddest thing is that only now people are standing up for her and telling people to stop hating her- and she's getting less hate. People shouldn't have to open up about traumas to be loved or treated like a human being
As a Filipino it really annoys me that they aren’t allowed to speak their native language. Growing up in a house like that must be so hard, I don’t get why people hate her. Yes, I know that here in the Philippines some of our parents are strict with our job but it’s HIS job and not theirs. Smh 🤦♀️
Before I met this video, my English teacher actually told me everything about her childhood life, and I was super sad, its like everyone deserves to be treated well, not to be treated badly.
I’m so tired of people hating on her for absolutely no reason, she’s not even problematic. People say she’s not talented and not important. She served and wrote a song, she is, but ok. They also get mad at her because they say she shouldn’t be famous, it’s not her fault she’s likable, and it’s not a bad thing but they’re so jealous that’s all they can say
For real, like I found this one person that was calling problematic bc she was an “imperialist” and “she went to the military and that’s bad” LIKE STFU
It’s really sad that she had such a hard time as a child when she should have had a proper child hood yet to this day she gets hate even though she already has gone beyond her limit with all the hate towards her for no reason :(
Ikr. Like I really don’t get why people hate on the poor girl. She dealt with enough. She went to the military and had a traumatic past. People should just leave her alone.
This is horrible. Sometimes I get mad at my parents for cutting off my internet, but now I just feel spoiled compared to this. I feel so bad for bella! I can't imagine having to deal with child abuse at such a young age. I glad she's having a better life now.
Can we just appreciate that she used her fame to make a song that covers such an important topic. She went through so much, and made something good out of it. It honestly gives me hope, knowing that after all she’s went through, that she still had hope. She may not think she deserves the fame, but I do.
Idk why people say "Why is she getting so many views *JUST* for bobbing her head🙄" Like she's not just that- or even like that. She has an amazing voice, She doesn't try THAT hard to look "cute" unlike most tiktokers who legit move their entire face-(don't get me started about the mouthsノಠ_ಠノ) She just makes actual cute facial expressions :) She deserves all the views she's getting💖 Shes also really nice 💗 She's been through alot and pulled through it the haters are just as another obstacle she can pull through :) Love you Bell 💗🎉
Bella definitely deserves to be famous. I'm so happy for her for her success, and even if some people will keep saying we made her famous for "nodding her head", I honestly think it's just a gift from God, and besides, she ACTUALLY has talent!! So she deserves to be famous and successful anyways, she is talented and sweet and I hope her life will always get better and better everyday ❤❤
In her Old instagram pictures 2017, there's a caption "I don't ever want to go back home ", that explains a lot And her mom nicknamed her "stupid bitch", now I understand that "build a bitch " is much deeper than I could ever think of
Just wanted to say that not all filipinos are like Bella’s biological mother. A lot of people here don’t mind their own business and would gossip and be included in someone else’s problems.
@@eggthehotdog935 Yeah, true, but Maybe they can get help? If the father abuse them they can try move out I don’t know but I’m just angry she didn’t try to help
right she suffered a lot in her past and she didn’t even have a childhood. She was treated exactly like a servant, im happy she’s getting the freedom she deserves.
As a filipino myself, there is no way that neglecting your family is part of our culture. Yes, it is definitely true (that we still should mind our own business when it comes to others) but if the abuse is within my family, there is no way I'm staying silent. Not saying a word towards your son and daughter who were being abused is a different type of low.
i'm filipino but i live in France (but i do go there on vacation lol), i do know my own culture for sure but not that deep i guess. I didn't even know about this culture where you mind your own busisness, i shocked- 💀
After everything she’s been through, I have so much respect for her for braving through everything. I’m glad her success made a lot of possibilities happen for her that made her look forward to more of her life. Hoping the best for her always.
I legit cry every time I hear her story, I watched that podcast crying like nobody's business 🥺 I have so much love for this poor soul, I just want to squeeze her in my arms and tell her from now on I'm her biggest sister 🤍
Another person who thinks people are hating on bella and not the fans. people hate on the fans because they actually support this stuff. somone nodding there head to music and getting so much views while talented people work harder and get 1,000 views.
You don't get it, I'm also Filipino, And all the neighbors are just gossipers specially in squatter areas. That's also one of the reason I'm struggling with severe S. A. D.
It’s sad because her story is highly traumatic but it’s considered normal here in the PH. Physical and Emotional Abuse is so normalized here. I have multiple mental disorders because of what I went through and one of my best friends died due to complications of abuse he went through from his parents. There is a song called SIRENA by Gloc 9 which is a song all about abuse a kid goes through simply because he’s gay, that’s what happened to my best friend but sadly he passed away. The video is very raw, but it’s something you can actually see irl. I hope Bella speaks more about this; parenting can be so fucked up in our country and I hope this changes in the future.
the phrase "mind your own business" does not even exist in filipino people's vocabulary cuz they will always gossip and make up stories about you or your family even like when you pass by them you will literally be their topic
Yeah like, even if you just want to wear a jacket or skirt they'll just start gossiping about you like "Why are you wearing a jacket, it's too hot outside" or "your skirt is too short your gonna get r@pe for wearing that", sadly my mom is one of them, I can't wear tight or short clothes, but then she asks "why don't you dress like your friend?, she has good fashion sense, while you're here wearing a baggy shirt and shorts eating chips all day" it really hurts and I don't want to talk to her about treating me better cuz she'll just say "I do this because I love you, and I'm your mother" something along those lines
Yea, then when it comes to an abusive household they always steer clear from it cause of sheer intimidation (pero syempre, nag chichikahan pa rin mga marites sa tabi tabi)
@@annakimiko31 I can totally agree with u about the clothing part. My mom keeps comparing me to my friends and i only go shopping like one time in 2 years so i only have to wear like my cousin's clothes which are from 2004 and she still is saying to me wear something pretty.
she deserves everything she has now and more. she endured all of that ab*se and doesnt use it as an excuse to act terrible like other tiktokers. i love that for her
shes the sweetest potato ever i cant believe that she and so many other people in this world have to go threw abusive people or parents or whatever but i'm glad shes really enjoying her life now she is amazing and she always makes me happy

bruh why were people bothered in the first place- the video was cute and creative and that’s why so many people liked it. people just need to accept that.
Imagine not letting your seven year old eat, absolutely disgusting. Whoever her dad is needs professional help. Edit: Yes ik it was the stepdad who wouldn’t let her eat I didn’t know that but I have now corrected it 💙
yeah like even tho the mom didn’t do anything to bella, she could have atleast spoke up about it. Like who would want to see their own child suffering and not help?
True her mom might of not said anything but it’s part of their cultural beliefs and even though it’s terrible I’m sure she felt bad in a different way. We can’t judge it’s a completely different places there.
This is why i respect support and like this woman. She has been in the Navy, she also been through abuse, and other things. She also has tattoos that cover her scars...i have a similar thing, but my ink is from a ex boyfriend who was abusive, i got tatted to cover the scars. But i can relate to her in that situation. I'm glad she was blessed from this app. She definitely deserves it!
Honestly..i love Bella sm bc she aint a toxic tiktoker she does deserve who she is today and abt her stepdad i hope karma gets him dont let themget to you

Recently she also released a new song Inferno ft sub urban, and if you watched the MV you'll know that the storyline is very deep and dark which is about a girl being drugged with sleeping pills but she eventually runs away and takes revenge. Bella said that the MV was real and that when she was a teenager she almost got r@ped, so this girl has really been through so much.
yall need to understand that when someone is living in an abusive household, speaking up isn't an option. when she said the mother didn't speak up (4:23) and then you said it's because of culture, that's not true. its really hard to speak up
she's half right because it's also part of filipino culture. i'm filipino and my mom hasn't left my dad despite him being abusive/slapping her because divorce doesn't exist here and everyone's just told to "pray for them to change" so yes it's part of our culture
I think Bella said that its probably part of our culture to ignore, because that's how she perceived it back when nobody tried to help her out. I'm guessing that it also has something to do with people being intimidated of the possible consequences of doing so back then (Cuz her dad's a foreigner that used to served in the army) Some people are more willing to lend a hand nowadays, but I can't deny that abuse still exists :
I might agree with you but there's a part where you are wrong. I'm not from the Philippines but I'm pretty sure for all Asian culture, when a parent is scolding/ canning the child, the other parent will mind their business and not speak up about it. It happened to me a lot and it sucks.
Fr. But of course we don’t know any of these other tiktokers pasts, we should never judge anyone because they could have gone through a lot like Bella.
I'm actually Filipino, and I've never heard of that cultural thing before. Maybe because I grew up in the states? Besides that, it's really unfortunate that someone so talented and kind was treated so badly. We love you Bella, and we wish you the best in life.
I just can't believe any of this happened to her, she's been through so much and now she's getting hate??? People confuse me with their hatred but this is one person who deserves to be who she is, like the saying: you do you. Let her be herself, and do what she loves.💝
😂😂😂ikr....where have you been all my life....the hypocrisy of this "fan love"....they love you as you blossom then 3 years down the line they are tired of you and be like "do you remember when..." "Is it just me or..."
I just came across her tiktok and I ❤️ her. I felt so bad for both her and her brother. Her stepdad is an extreme jerk to them. Send prayers and faith to her and her brother
its sad, cause i'm litterally going through the same thing, my foster parents treat me like shit, and so bella has always benn my idol, i hope one day i could be successful like her too. I love you Bella
@BasicShii aww that is really nice of you to say, i have never recieve this much kindess from a person that idk, but thank you very much, your totally right, im trying my hardest but sometimes things are hard. Love you too
everyone is like “idk why everyone used to hate her” and stuff, but honestly at least they’re apologising, I myself used to dislike her because I thought the way she became famous was kinda stupid but knowing her past, I feel really bad and I really am sorry Bella for judging too early, I’m happy she’s doing better for herself now and I just hope that it just keeps getting even better. So all I’m saying is for myself and everyone who disliked her and is now changing their mind/ at least respecting her, Growth is better than Ignorance. So don’t feel too guilty.
Even if she didn't have a traumatic past there's no need to hate on someone for doing a tik tok dance, why are people so focused on why she's famous? Jealousy???
ppl be hating on her for no reason but it's not her fault in the first place, she can't control if people would like her video or not or for it to become that famous, all she knows is that she's just a random girl on tiktok that posts videos in the first place. We're glad that there's people that's starting to understand that you need to know a person before judging them.
Disliking someone just because of how they became famous is ridiculous. You’re only taking back your dislike because of pity, not because she’s a genuinely good and unproblematic person.
Bro okay im finna make a fanpage supporting her being her biggest fan ever, she deserves so much love. I love this girl she's so inspirational and amazing i wish the best for her oh my godness.
When they started showing her tattoos, I got a tattoo ad that literally showed a guy regretting his tattoos he had. I know this isn't funny, but let's give claps to RU-vid for trying to lighten up the mood.
