@@nloggraficas thanks for the support! I'm still waitnig for the response from booking.com. And the Russian police officer told me to visit the police station in Russia to proceed with the investigation. But I can't do that because I'm not in Russia.

@@emgris after returning to Russia you can do file a complain and investigation in the police department…. Im not sure but you have certain time because of you are in middle of traveling.

Букинг пора раскулачивать! Давно известно что их система не идеальна, но нельзя допускать того чтобы постоянных пользователей так «кидали» на деньги, дак еще и блокировали их аккаунт без какой либо помощи. Emgris мы с тобой!

Hey emgris I forgot to ask you last week, are you still doing travel tours? I know that I can’t go to Russia right now due to the sanctions but I would really enjoy having someone help with travel to other countries. I’m not to good with computers so I don’t know how to book using Ubers or Airbnb places to stay and I don’t speak the language so if that’s something you might want to do let me know. I’ll be traveling by myself and I’ll be looking to go sometime in late July.

Such a shame, Booking should do a better job in vetting for their customers. Always best to book directly too, wherever possible. I’m hoping to visit St Petersburg in May. Not sure how I’ll be able to do that from Ireland with Visa and Mastercard being blocked but I’ll see lol

Yeah, believe Booking should do something to prevent such scams. I've been told that it's quite a usual scam there :(

you should try one of Russian servises like onetwotrip.com or ostrovok.ru I'm not quite sure if they still accept foreign visa or Mastercard, but they probably do, as international companies not under sanctions. Anyway, in case they don't, they just won't charge you
