Bennett is so broken because he's always been adventuring on his own, he needed to do everything on his own. He's learnt to deal damage, heal, and buff himself because no one else has been in his adventure team to help him all this time :'(
That's why he's so strong. Mihoyo never thought that he would be a pure OP support character. All his passives and constellations are for DPS only a few for both. they are there for him to rush his Fantasic Voyage on field and always have it. An offensive C6 Bennett can actually do everything on its own, even Abyss 12 (not all stars anymore but close)

If you just want to know Xiao's backstorry, unfortunately I can't tell you much because I miss him too. However, what I do know is that when he is in attack form he loses LP and goes into a freak mode, which symbolizes the suffering he has as an adept and the fact that he has lost all of his friends
When you realise Bennett is a healer, dps, sub dps, support all on his own because he is the only one on Benny's adventure team and always has been. Boi has adapted to face every situation.
@Félix yes, that's why these 3 existance will always be the meta. Meta will barely changes especially for these 4 stars thus forcing mihoyo to make niche character for only specific character like Thoma for Hu Tao, Gorou for Geo. They probably will never make new 4 stars to able to snapshots the buff.
I love how he went from "trash" at the start of the game when no-one realised his potential to being literally the best character in the game by a country mile.
I rerolled an account with jean and klee and WGS for beidou and bennett, over the past year I got C200 bennett but I'm still C5 on beidou and I got 2(+1 cuz of rerolling) for free. Wtf mihoyo give me another beidou 🤬🤬
Bennett and kazuha and zhongli make no sense. Kazuha maybe has the down side of not being compatible with none p.e.c.h dps, and zhongli has corrosion (on which he is still insanely valuable), but bennet. Nothing. He is mihoyo ' fav for sure
It honestly bums me out how good Bennett is. He fits into literally any team, making most teams look similar in how they just have Bennett At least in the overworld, Ive tried moving away from Bennett recently just to help me diversify my teams more, even if they end up worse. It honestly helps change up the pace of the game too; one does not realize one's reliance on Bennett, until one has relinquished one's Bennett

Lore 4 star? Wait till you find out that Bennett could have been a reincarnation of god in Genshin because in his story it says that he was left in a fiery place potentially mare jivari as a baby. If so then how could he have survived to be in that place and what if him being unlucky is actually his rite of parting (constellation name) as a god. We know that ninguage could have been reincarnation of John Lee’s ex and she’s a 4 star. Bennett even lore wise is looking to be a 6 star

@@pookiemari143 it does. That's why the nerf was only a little bit. Bennett becomes the ultimate Pyro booster at C6, and can help some characters auto-react. Example Xinqiu and Ayaka.
@@joshuaottley7902 I have him C6 to be honest I have never felt the nerf. Too many uses for that C6 especially on shields. It doesn’t affect burst which is the reason most people use him.
Somehow I wish Bennet turned out as the actual "gonne missing" pyro archon... or at least some sort of succesor. Think about it, he's freaking broken and was (presumably) borned amidst a fire cataclysm...he was epic since day 1
In lore he is not as powerful as gameplay implies. Kaeya and Diluc are stronger than him. You must remember that bennett is a kid. When he grows up he will likely surpass them so yeah. He is certainly not archon level though
back then rating were given with open world exploration in mind for sure...we dont have the abundence of materials we have now so healers were a blessing to a team especially consistent ones xD
@@andand3570 yeah she is still S tier. But now there exist two new higher tiers, S+ tier, and SS+ tier. Technically, on D to S scale, she is in a B tier. Its not that the characters are getting bad. Its just that as the game progress, there are new characters that powercreep them and replace their roles
I was writing how did Mihoyo let Bennett happen, especially with how extensively they beta tested the game. Then I realized that it took months after release for people to actually catch on, he was rated pretty low in tierlists. And that's how we get to Mihoyo very carefully calibrating Inazuma characters so they don't end up busted.

Ya it seems like everyone making these Genshin videos thinks this way. Hahahaha None of the content creators obviously have a REAL f2p account. I literally just got my first bennet a week ago. And as far as 5* weapons HAHAHAHAHA. I understand the theory of some of these videos to try and think of a future team you may use based on the characters u will hopefully get but I wish they would really use only c1 and below for 5* and no more than c3 for your more common 4*. No free to play player is getting all the five stars and all of them any where near c6 along with their perfect fit weapon u know at refinement 5 hahaha

@@reisen9584 you get more options without the c6 for sure, it's a pick your poison thing, if you use it you get stronger pyro for all units, if you use it several characters can't use Bennett. The only characters who get nerfed from this are Keqing, Ayaka, Eula, Razor, and anyone else who doesn't infuse with their own Burst / uses Physical Dmg. Most of the units who got affected by c6 Bennett, Bennett isn't even in their best team (tho I do use Ayaka, Xiangling, Bennett, Zhongli, so I won't be making him c6 if I ever get 4 more.)
This is so true lol. I always wonder why my damage is so weak compared to the showcases I see in youtube even the "f2p" ones but when I got Bennett on this month's shop, my damage literally doubled, and it could be more than that once I upgrade his talents more. That's when I realized that my characters are not weak, I just don't have Bennett in my team.
Yep. And even among Bennett showcases, there are still better ones. When I use my Bennett, Mona and Kazuha, my Heizou's max DMG is 143k. When I used other people's Bennetts, I get 200k.
Bennett’s name originates from Latin: ‘bene’, meaning well and blessed (also why it has the same stem as beneficial) Guess miHoYo wasn’t lying with that name!
Also, Bennett atk buff linger for 2s or so even when getting outside of the circle/when it ends give it not only 1s downtime, but also room for mobility rather than forcing "staying in the circle" unlike most thought.
@@TechyCatz That's literally impossible to do as dodgeing has a very small Invulnerability window and you can't dodge again until the animation is done. You WILL take some damage no matter how well you play the game. Unless you play like a coward and stay away from enemies losing precious time and risking not getting stars
@@bloody4558 and the healing only triggers if the active character HP is below a certain percentage. If it's above it takes pyro damage. Bennet used as buff support is great, but for healings i prefer other units.

I'm not sure what exactly you would talk about, but I'd love to hear you do an analysis on Klee! She was my first 5-star character, and although she's pretty much faded into obscelence meta-wise she is still very near and dear to my heart.
Klee still does massive damage. If you wanna play you can clear any content with her. I had 230k+ crit dmg on achievement on early genshin. It was hard to beat until i recently got hu tao and triple crowned her bullying ice flower boss many times-finally beat it xD
I use a triple Ice comp to melt the face of teyvat with klee. ayaka (op burst), diona(shield+heal+stamina cost reduction), ganyu(off field cryo+op melt CA) Klee becomes the main dps melting all ice sources here while 3x ice battering my ayaka op burst lol. plus with this, I can spare bennet+xiangling on another comp. (childe or raiden)
Tbh I think that Bennet was intended to be a jack-of-all trades support (damage boost, pyro res, battery, healing), and Mhy just made his numbers too big.
is interesting to see how much more mihoyo seems to unbderstand their game, at the start of the game i doubt mihoyo thought characters like bennett, sucrose, or xinqui(more balanced of the 3) would be so good and valueable to most teams. i would bet that if bennet was made next patch he wouldn't be near how op he is
These starter characters are there to literally get players started. If everything meta is locked behind a paywall then f2ps will have literally nothing to work with.
Imo they made them broken without thinking that much about it since people went after the 5 stars right from the beginning, then realized it after when everybody started using them and didn't make any character as op as them since then to not make the game too easy
Nope. I think Mihoyo didn’t understand their own game which is why standard 5* chars like Keqing Diluc Qiqi are less useful than initial 4* chars like Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett. Look at 4* chars that came out later. Much less useful than the 4* at the start of the game.
I would love a showcase like this for Kazuha! It's insane how my half-built Kazuha can kill everything so fast and he only needs two elements for reactions!! Especially with c1!
The funniest thing about Bennett is that, I'm pretty sure Mihoyo never planned him to be that cracked and now I wonder if it makes them think hard about how to make a Pyro Archon who won't be usurped by him lmaoo
Bennett was the first character I ever pulled when the game first came out. Along with Chongyun. I knew real quick how awesome Bennett was at c0 and was very confused why no one talked about him. Now no team is truly complete without him.
@@cestalia Mmm Phy Kaeya is not that strong but he should still hit harder. Maybe try upgrading talents, grinding for artis or try better team comps for physical kaeya.

I too am the 5% because I‘ve never seen Bennett as a character I like to play and powercreeping or others showing off their Screenshots won‘t really change much, I‘m very happy with finally having a team buffer who I love playing (Sara) and will probably keep on the team for a long time ^^
Her's E creates blades similarly to pyronado while the burst soround you in fire and lose health overtime but with massive Atk buff, could work, or maybe not.
tbh it is better that way. He is broken/overtuned as heck. Game should stay fairly balanced unit wise and well...content wise that still needs work but difficulty of that can vary of course (for f2p to whales). Rather keep the "everyone can be viable if you learn their ins & outs, get some good rng on artifacts, and team comp/player skill" stick then powercreep past chars with new chars bennett tier or higher.

Genshin adapting to include *all* the stats that possibly exist in the game is the perfect way to make everything meta-viable. A good game can utilize all it offers in a balanced way (as in nothing is practically useless, not as in the meaning whether or not something is OP or UP). ATK stat and dmg itself is quite a bit too free in this game. There are not enough defensive options from enemies to make us think before we hit and would pay out more than just spamming attacks. Something interesting like dmg reflect, dmg conversion into healing (e.g. pyro dmg on pyro shield/aura = recover shield, or buffs enemy a lot, or heals enemy), or even enemies doing a counter like Beidou to wreck us instead can help nudge players into building more debuff-based and passive damage-over-time-based teams (if that ever becomes a thing) will surely throw the game into a more refreshing state. Since this is a gacha game, this also means no matter which chars one may have, at least everyone can build towards something very meta-viable with practice and not just pray for artifact stat RNG.

Now that we have Yae, whose a unique playstyle, I really hope we get a sustained damage required enemy. I keep picturing the bounty hunter cat Rengar from League of Legends, because he has a skill where he restores a percentage of damage taken in the prior few seconds, literally designed to counter being bursted down so he can dip out of a fight after doing assassiny things. We need something like that. The other thing I could see happening is a trickster enemy that switches your attack and defense, so you'd never die, but Bennett's attack boost wouldn't be useful.
I went from benching him to using him out of necessity to becoming weirdly attached to him after playing his hangout quest. That quest line really hits different. His lore man. His bloody lore. Benny boi you poor bastard. You can be on my team forever. I will not abandon youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.
I remember Bennet was the first unit i got when i started. After Noelle...at first i did not like him, but when i saw " this dude give attack buff and heal? " I was also supposed by his healing, faster and stronger then qiqi. And i saw the community's saying " he is garbage unless you have him at 60/70 but why would you invest in him when diluc exist and you can reroll for him". I remember thinking "those guy are dummy"
I remember in earlier days of Genshin I fought with someone on Mtash's video about why Bennett was trash. Benett was my 1st healer and Pyro Character. He has been part of my team ever since.
@@0Adnin Well, but it's true that in low AR and early content, Bennett is not so useful. That's why a lot of people thought he is bad, as he deals less dmg than Diluc, healing was not so important in the game as everything was doing literally 0 dmg to you, and that atk buff didn't give much in the early days for your characters. But in the endgame, Bennett is the god.
The good news about Bennett is he's an extremely accessible OP support character. The bad news is, his existence ruins the game coz he kills any creativity in team comps. Bennett is a must have in any team comp and that's what I hate about him. Every character showcase is a Bennett showcase.

Speed is a factor that not enough people take into consideration when evaluating character strengths. A really good comparison for this I'd say would be Thoma and Zhongli. While I love Zhongli's meatball cutscene as much as the next person, holding his E down and waiting for his shield, then subsequently waiting for the meatball to fall feels incredibly slow compared to Thoma's flip kick and snappy burst animation. Something people need to understand is that every second a character who isn't your Main DPS spends on-field is damage lost, so while flashy burst cutscenes _are_ really cool to watch, there's a very large advantage to having faster animations, especially when practically all buffs are limited to a timer, and when most challenges in the game are timer based.
I agree to an extent, but while Zhong's animations are slower, the effects more than make up for it (RES Shred & Petrify), allowing my main to do more DMG and get faster clear times overall.
I would honestly even add Albedo to the list of characters that work well with Bennett. If you build full DEF/Crit on Albedo, you often don't even want to use your burst, because your ATK is so low that it is not worth the cast time. When you have Bennett on Albedos team, you can deal some real DMG with Albedos ult, without having to build ATK at all.
The fact that dendro come out and give us a team to use without needing with bennet is actually so good finally we can have another team who simply doesn’t need Bennett
If Bennet didn't exist: 1. Zhongli riot wouldn't have happened, then he would be actually stay balanced, 2. Barbara, Qiqi, and Kokomi will be more appreciated, 3. Thoma will be considered as a great Pyro support, 4. Xinyan won't be as forgotten, 5. Kujo Sara will actually be used, 6. Diluc and Yoimiya wont be called trash since Xiangling wont ever be meta without her battery and buff. (imagine/try using a Bennetless ER% sands Xiangling without Severed Fate artifacts). 7. Future pyro support characters will have a chance to be usable (unlike now, there will never be a pyro support char that we choose over Bennet) I love Bennet, but honestly, if Mihoyo actually care about game balance, they should kill of Bennet in Sumeru or Natlan and have him unusable in the regions going forward. Xingqiu is fine, he's only meta in Vape comp and a "great addition" for taser comp, unlike Bennet who is useful in any team.
Make sense but Bennett is the shortcut for f2p to reach higher level of dmg in this game. Being a f2p friendly RPG game has been a very successful strat of Mihoyo and be proven by billions of revenue. You imagine if Bennett is exclusive 5* the gap between whales and non-whales would be so huge. And without Bennett? This game would lack of DPScreenshot, or diverse into p2w for niche support characters. Anyway, Bennett is one key, and they wont change that in near future.
@@bngwwy DPScreenshot is a bad thing and should never exist. But you are right, it is nice for F2P to have the best unit in the entire of Genshin's 10 year long lifespan. At the cost of we will never be excited for dozens/hundreds of characters in the future. Also because of Bennet, we know that it doesn't require a brain to get stronger. So there is zero bragging potential for players going the extra mile.
@@Ibwidana Well, this is a casual mobile game after all. It has to be easy to play first. Bennett is a good start for everyone and it is not harmful. At some point Mihoyo will know what to do, and you might wonder at which point? So you have heard some discussions about Xiangling and Hu tao, some says XL is better. I dont even argue that, the point is Mihoyo is a business entity, they do things to get money. So at a point that a 4* affects their revenue, they will be nerfed directly or indirectly, they will have their way. But looking at Hu tao revenue, you understand that no one stop pulling because there is a strong 4*. So it does not matter.
@@bngwwy Hu Tao is still considered as a top tier dps, moreover she has a lot of fans because of her character and japanese VA. There is also Homa banner and if I am not mistaken, it is also included in revenue. It's different for supports, check Kokomi revenue. Kazuha banner was also pretty bad at release because he was consider weak on beta and steadily incressed because players found out how strong he is. Pretty sure if they release him again he will be on Venti level revenue. On the other hand Kokomi will probobly will never be in banner again if the banners stay in same form, they might even put her on standard and make her second Qiqi to make people angry on 50/50. Feels kinda bad that all that shit is happenig because there is one character that improves so much any comp that nearly anything other is irrevelant.

I bought his constellation from the shop too this month, now he's C3. I have only gotten 3 constellations out of gacha for him and i play since launch, if i don't have his fifth cons when he appears in the shop again I'll surely buy him once nore
To be fair, having Diluc early on made a lot of content easy to steam roll. Even when Bennett's potential was discovered, he was still paired with Bennett. I don't regret getting Diluc but it's certainly interesting to see how the meta is now today compared to the first one or two months since launch.

Ive always liked Bennett because I read character stories, but I didn't know how broken he was until everyone realized it. I still probably would have used him either way because hes one of my favorite characters personality and story wise. I also do like his design because it matches his character
One thing I noticed about Bennett is his typical Shonen backstory, just like Naruto. No parents, avoided by everyone, strange circumstances during birth, very optimistic person despite his bad luck, simple yet effective skill set (like rasengan and kagebushin). Honestly I think Mihoyo is cooking something for Bennett!!!!! What are the odds that by the time we arrived in Natlan we will see a statue of Bennett?
Basically if your second team doesn't need bennett you can use bennett on hutao you just need to lower healing just put instructor set on him you hutao will become more more powerfull For me core support for hutao still xingque and bennett (you just need to lower healing like 1k per tick)
Actually like the comment above have said, Bennet actually work with hutao. Just need to use non hp set on bennet. Use some trash flower artifact and avoid HP%/HP sub stat . His healing will not interrupt hutao when his max hp is low.
The only thing I don’t like is people literally will tell you that “YOU. NEED. TO. BUILD. HIM. EVEN. IF. U. DON’T. LIKE. HIM.” He’s op af but you don’t need him, same with Xingqiu. I have not built either of them since I don’t like their “boring” gameplay or their aesthetics and I have 36 starred every Spiral Abyss since the original with the Fatui and the ice floor. Building what you like is far more important.
I agree. It hasn’t been a week since Thoma’s release and I’ve been told three times by random people that “Bennett is literally better and more useful than Thoma! Why would you even use Thoma instead of him?????” Like people, I know as much as the next person that Bennett is the pyro archon, but I currently would like to use Thoma more than him 💀
The thing is what if "building what I like" involves having my favorite dps hit as hard as possible ? Now I'm obligated to take Bennett because nobody else does what he does despite the many sources of atk buffs that exist (noblesse, Sara, Tenacity)
Benny boi was my first healer and Main DPS at launch. I remember when getting him I was like meh generic anime protag design but liked the fact he had 3 E variation and the thumbs up.

Can you do an Analysis on why nobody uses Noelle for real and a slight forecast comparrison with Itto? I love my Noelle and she's an amazing early game carry but she just has no damage for endgame. Maybe part of the reason is her Geo vision and she was right about preferring an Anemo one XD.
For me the real reason is, despite being a cute character she’s pretty much the definition of an unga bunga auto attack bot. Makes diluc look downright cerebral.
I think its a case of Jack of All Trades master of none when it comes to Noelle. She's so self sustained that she can solo most content in the game, however the fact that most of her kit is meant to support Noelle herself rather than a team makes this self sustain a double edged sword. And as you mentioned Geo is a more supportuve element which does not have offensive reactions at all, so it doesn't help her case of being a 4star hybrid character unlike Jean who does similar things to Noelle but edges her out due to Viridescent and being a 5 star. Overall Noelles kit makes her so independent that she can't fully fulfill any support or damage role without basing a whole team solely around her. Of course this might change with the next patch which is generally be buffing Geo characters in general so we'll have to see where she ends up Jan.
She's boring but she's definitely not lacking in damage especially at C6 , I don't why people say that , C6 nolloe litreally deals more damage than C6 ninguang and razor while also heals and shields and have insane AoE and the artifacts and gorou gonna buff her a lit
Fun extension of this video: max level Hu Tao never cares about Bennett buff cause staff of homa and A4 talent is worth more unless you are nuking, low level Hu Tao, completely maxed c6 Aquila Bennett ( although a different support would offer more in this last case usually for Hu Tao). So this is another option for removing a character from Bennett by making comparable buffs for being under an hp threshold.
bennet is the pyro archon,but honestly I like xinqiu more than him as a support bcs of his insane dmg(his dmg on his E is like baal burst first hit,and with sacrificial sword can be even double that,also the burst dmg is incredible,he has dmg reduction and can aply hydro non stop)but I think they are equal strong,cuz of that hugee dmg buff bennet gives you+the healing,as a thing.. use both =)

As a "Person who has sworn off the use of Bennett for stupid reasons" seeing that list of characters who are dependent, basically everyone, does hurt my soul a little.
Bennett is mihoyo's earliest mistake on genshin character design and is something that's really hard for them to take back or nerf considering how much time has passed and the possibility of outrage.
Btw they actually can’t nerf the characters stats or scaling, it’s illegal in china. They can only nerf them undirectly like by making a new enemy that counters them like the new enemy wolfs that counters the shields (zhongli).
Bennett was actually my first carry despite the bad initial tier rankings. I liked how he and Chongyun synergized. I used Bennett as my carry AND healer from launch until the Childe banner.
I still remember at the start of the game I had Bennett and Diluc (lucky pull), Bennett was in the worst tiers but when I saw his kit I was like wth is this he buffs atk and also heals that's so op and I didn't know why people said he was not good of a character.

Lowkey even if his ring doesn't heal or doesn't buff attack, i'd still use him because his burst is one of the most satisfying shit to use in the game. Quick, Clean, the slight screenshake when he punches the grounds and the dmg number appears is just smooth asf
Bennett is so broken, he makes it to where someone like me, who's not used to games like Genshin Impact and has no idea how to build characters, that he gives you some much needed oomph when it comes to damage output. and plus his ults healing isn't too shabby.
Bennett is "broken" because he's one of a kind, ironically the way to balance Bennett is to make other characters comparable to him. Sara never should've been released with not only a significantly worse buff with only half the duration, but also with none of Bennett's utility and ease of use, instead of feeling balanced she just ends feeling crappy while making Bennett seem even stronger.
They're afraid to make new 4 stars as op as Bennett. They can't nerf characters so the only way to balance things out is if the release weaker characters. What that means is. They're making new 4 stars useless while making OP 4 stars look even stronger. Which sucks btw because not everyone like old 4 stars design and shit.
When you were talking about Bennetts strengths, you forgot that Bennett's burst can also cleanse majority of debuffs. And that he does ALL of those things for a cost of 60 energy.
Literally the lowest burst cost for a healer in the game but heals *better* than a vast majority of them AND generates better amounts of energy than them as well. Like, he's absurd
Some of you may not know, but Bennett's Burst damage actually takes in the Burst ATK buff before it hits enemies. People argue that you have to be in the circle first before you get that ATK buff, but miHoYo made it so that Bennett also gets it for his own burst.
Compared to a lot of the starter 4*s, the new supports seems downright underpowered because we can only use them under very specific circumstances (i.e. Kujou Sara). I guess Mihoyo really, really does not want another Bennett on their hands lmao
With more 4* added to the game constantly, it will gradually become more and more hard to roll exactly Bennett on banners. They future-proofed this. Half a year more and Bennett will be really hard to obtain for new players.
Basically its like they kind of realized Bennett was a mistake and is absolutely broken and kind of ruins comps since almost all comps use him, but they can't nerf him cause of legal reasons if I'm right so all they can do is avoid the mistake again...which makes all the new 4 stars weaker by comparison.
@@jeremiahsmith916 The thing is, every F2Ps have the chance to get him because he's in the starglitter shop (he's currently in there rn), and the characters in shop have never changed so far.
@@jeremiahsmith916 not really, as he's still featured in rate-up banners and starglitter shop. Sadly, Amber/Kaeya/Lisa constellations just get harder and harder to get.
With enough investment it works fine outside of abyss. It isn't really recommended though. Eventually she will reach c6 and at that point the majority of her damage output is electro. The good news is that due to not really needing ER or EM, her sands should be an atk%. Paired with her atk% ascension stat and a weapon like Rust she will still perform well as an auto attacker while Oz does very solid damage with an electro cup. My c6 Fish does between 8-9k autos while Oz does around 15k and the c6 procs add another 2.5 to every attack. This is without party buffs. I mostly use her as an off field sub-dps but I'll use her to pick off leftover mobs at range. She was my carry till around AR40. The sad truth is that aside from Eula, physical dps characters can't really keep up with the increasing dps demands of abyss.
@@Nowaylarry I disagree slightly with this. I think her physical damage output IS higher than electro, mainly because a 4P Pale Flame is WAY STRONGER than a 2P Thundering and 2P Shimenawa's, for example. Add all that physical damage bonus to the passive of a Skyward Harp (It is affected!) and there you go!
I'd love to see more videos that talk about why characters are broken or bad. I usually just see people saying it so it would be nice to get explanations!
Because every update will introduce new artifacts and weapons. New monster or corrosion also will impact the tierlist.. so the char tier list and the reason behind why the char is broken or bad will keep changing from time to time Before 2.0 update, xiangliang is good but have energy recharge problem and she unable to fully optimise 4 crimson set After 2.0 update, with emblem set, engulfing, the catch, raiden, now with the wavebreaker weapon.. xiangling become broken char Or before 1.6 update, anemo is only good due to viridescent set .. but after 1.6 update, anemo receive swirl damage buff which make sucrose a lot stronger than before
They have their own specialties, sucrose for elemental reactions teams, kazuha for better grouping and pure elemental damage buff, venti for the black hole and a battery
I didn't use Bennett for the longest time, I just hated standing inside his circle. It wasn't until I got Riaden Shogun that I really started using him combined with Kujou Sara! I had him built for the longest time though! Now I can do big damage get some heals and if I exit the circle it's OK because Baal's burst is only 7 seconds.
@Random Person hahaha yeah that works too, before I got Baal my my main two teams were Morgana , and a Ho Tao team with zhongli, Albedo, Xingqiu, he really doesn't fit in those teams. But now that I have a team where he's need it's all good.

You know this character is balanced like crap when I can describe his kit to my programmer buddy and it gave him a legitimate headache and makes him question "why the fuck would you ever use anything else in the game when this exists???" lmfao
