Whenever Trots was on the ice, my stress level went down, as he was great offensively and so sound defensively. Those dynasty teams were fun to watch and winning 19 playoff series in a row is a record that will never be broken.

Helped the Penguinis win a cup too. Pens have more Cups than the Islanders franchise has, or ever will have, thanks in part to Trots.

I've got to give it to, Gretzky. Trots played smartly against him, and shut him out. I think it's cool that he's said Barkov is the defensive player since, and also, just like Trots, Barkov can play both ways, too.

If you go back and watch the games, especially in Edmonton, they weren't matched against each other nearly as much. Al Arbour had a lot of confidence in his other centers - Brent Sutter and Butch Goring - to match Gretzky along with Trots. The 83 team, even with their injuries to Perrson and Langevin, were so deep and could play anyway you wanted to match up.
