I had a car wreck which caused my tibia to have a compound fracture. 2 weeks After the surgery to insert hardware in my leg I was showing signs of infection and was in complete agony for days to find out it was MRSA. All I can say is that if you have a friend or family who has it as well and they are complaint, believe them and be there for them. My bone sticking out of my leg was nothing compared to the feeling of MRSA. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy
Be Blessed thank you for your truth// I am struggling with recurring staph/ I am leaving my job because it's just coming from a sick building frequented by 100's of people everyday I feel like being there is stealing my life/
This is my 5th time getting MRSA since this past July... The 3rd time I had a full blown outbreak. Blisters throughout my body. I counted over 17 lesions, blisters, and absysses in just between my legs. 3 of them over 6 inches long, 3-4 inches wide, 3-4 inches in diameter. I was admitted into the hospital because it almost took my life. I was sent home on a PIC Line, which also almost took my life causing blood clots. Just one abyss is extremely painful. My body was riddled all over. This one absyss I have now is in my inner thigh. My Dr had to drain it, then packed it with gauze. Which means it will have to be repacked every other day, tearing out flesh and tissue. The last one they had to drain and pack was small. This one is much deeper. Pain and agony on top of more pain and agony. I'm so over having this. This is for the birds. I am so strong in my faith, I am usually in such a strong mind set spiritually and physically, but I am now feeling defeated. I hope and pray I find answers to how to get rid of it for good🙏🏼
No cure but only remission I hear. I've had it for four years now without remission. The abcess infections are the worst. I had to have one cut out of my jock. I learned to get them out early myself by soaking in hot baths and enduring the pain of squeezing. Best remedies I have found are raw / unpasteurized buckwheat honey if you can find it. manuka honey seems less effective for more cost. Walmart sells a wildflower honey from Brazil that also works good. The body absorbs the honey overnight wash in morning. Not actually a sticky problem in the morning. Coating the area and keeping it on the skin is the trick. I found nylon hosery to be very useful for this. Vaseline I would say should be the primary over the counter topical you want to use. Works better than mupirocin ointment I would say by far for wound topical. Use heavily on the area under bandages or nylons as the area allows. I grew allergic to vinyl and only worsened the problem so use cloth bandages to be on the safe side. Nose maintenance to control the staph, you can use mupirocin ointment this seems to be its best use but a little odorous. Vaseline is again the best bet applied generously by Q tip or finger if needed about once a week seems to work fine. It will block out your smell sensory for the day but no funny odor. If you feel your nose is going raw it is the staph. Use Vaseline or mupirocin. Shower two to three times a day. Bath two to three times a week with half cup to a cup of bleach added. Dermatologist says 1/2 cup for ten minutes twice a week. Seems ineffective to me, I try to use a cup bleach for an hr soak every other day. Don't make the tub too hot soak and let it cool down. Hot water will inert the bleach. If bathing is not an option you can spray bleach water on with a spray bottle or do on top of bathing periodically. Probiotics should be used constantly I find, not just when on antibiotics. I use pill form and probiotic yogurt drink. Keeping clean clothes and bedding, use laundry disinfectant. Stay positive somehow. This is key, or we give up. I tried to kill myself three times last year. I had to give up on working to survive. It got too stressful. Try to stay away from stressful situations as our bodies are stressed enough. More sleep seems to also be needed for physical and mental healing. Half my day on average has to go to taking care of myself or the MRSA gets worse. When I got the MRSA my Dr said it was just infected hair follicles and my fault for not taking better care of myself as I was homeless living in a van and she refused to refer me for over a year letting it get worse and worse undiagnosed. I had to diagnose and treat myself. By the time I got into see a dermatologist forced by an ER dr, I was telling the dermatologist what I had! Other than an official diagnosis that dermatologist was useless and washed their hands of me offering little that was helpful. The second dermatologist was knowledgeable and said Vaseline will be my best friend. Other than that useless when I can only get scheduled once a year. This will help, Good luck.
@nzube1017 thank you so much for have taken the time to read and reply with your beautiful prayer. You are so much appreciated 💜 Love you sis! God bless you!
My aunt brenda over 20 years ago died from this my prayers and thoughts who had or got the infection and any one have infection or died or had family members or friends with this infection. It can be horrible disease and kill in just a few hours my aunt died less then 12 hours from this mrsa infection it spread like wild fire she wrnt into muti organ failer she was only 58 to. Im sending my condolences to everyone family and friends who have been taken away and also to anyone who had this to and survived
Incision & Drainage must be the first line protocol treatment for all MRSA abscess infections. I&D removes the infection potential by physically removing necrotic cells along with most of the MRSA microorganism cells. Simply opening up the abscess & scraping & culling out all the pus and necrotic tissue makes anyone feel better! using antibiotics often fails or leads to the MRSA progressing & eventually it becomes a systemic (blood born) infection requiring immediate hospitalization and potential for contracting HA-MRSA (Hospital Acquired MRSA). I&D works far better as it is a far more aggressive & helpful first line healing protocol treatment.
I'd like to add there is MRSA inside the body (like mine that's attached to my hardware I got from spinal fusion surgery) and then there's the more physically contagious skin MRSA. It's probably the same kind - just showing up different places. That's something I was worried about when I got it bc I didn't want to infect others. 9 years later and I haven't infected anyone, Hopefully never will. Just wanted to put that out there in case anyone is going thru the kind I have and are curious about that. I didn't really trust the nurses telling me oh everyone has it and not doing proper handwashing and PPE dealing with me. Those type of Healthcare workers are probably how I got it in the first place while in the hospital.
I keep getting boils on forehead when I sweat. My skin swells up and it looks like a lump. I used to get impetigo on my nose when I was younger. Just really annoying. Sometimes if I’m anxious or stressed my skin breaks out as well. just want it to be cured. Really affects my confidence as well.
@@allanford7767 dang bro. Sorry you’re still going through it. Been looking for the cure for a year man. My next doctors appointment is Friday. Might try my 5th or 6th medicine. I’ll pray for you man.
That’s my problem too.. excessive sweating/ oily skin all of a sudden .. I think it’s from one of my meds honestly bc it’s a side effect and before this occurred years ago.. my whole life I had perfectly clear skin and really no acne as a teen either! My doc even gave me a pill for the sweating but with all of the other meds I’m on for it.. it was a bit much.
Silver does help tremendously, I would used both garlic and silver, I would eat the garlic and applied the silver ACS and silver wings have work really good for me also Curad
@Hect Vega also Gentian Violet it super affordable some Latin stores have it for a few bucks amazon also sell it for around $5-$6 dollars compared to $2 plus dollars at your local store
@@Bullet-Tooth-Tony- yes, Mrsa sometimes doesn’t respond to certain antibiotics, in order for them to fully get rid of the infection they had to perform surgery on me, I’m not sure if it’s like that for everyone but me personally yes, they removed a piece of bone from my leg because that’s where the Mrsa was. But I was a kid when I had Mrsa so I’m not sure if treatment is different, it’s best to discuss with a doctor because it depends on the severity of it, when I had it we caught it really early luckily.
@@kiralove214 i've got a staph infection too but it's not like how yours is, it's sort of like boils that have a weeping toffee like crust that appear on my butt, back, chin, forehead, neck, cheeks etc it seems to have spread all over quite fast. They always leave these round marks behind that look as if someones pressed a coin into my skin. I've been on erythromycin for 3 months and it hasn't remedied it :( not sure what to do at this point....
This is what worked for me ( not a doctor) neem oil (Azadirachta indica) on a big bandaid kept on for 24 hours x how meany days till it clears up. For me it's 4 days if caught early. Pau D'arco as a tea plus herbal pills 4 pills × 3 times a day till cleared up Neem oil may cause allergic reactions and is hard on kidneys, but is the most effective out of all the oils I've experimented with. hope this helps 🙏 good luck.
So you’re saying that 30% of the population have staph in the sinus naturally? Does that mean it doesn’t need to be treated? I was told by my doctor that I have staph in my sinus, and I was given an antibiotic that contained antifreeze and completely destroyed my digestive system. However, it didn’t clear the staph in my sinus. And I wonder how it could of, when it wasn’t put into my sinus? Does it need to be treated or not?
Just took linezolid and it didn't do squat for remission. It only slowed it down. Stuff is spreading through my lymph system. Trying internal CDS next bc the doctors and pharma didn't have an answer that worked and mine is immune to the common herbs recommended now.
How he says it's not to worry about; sorry not entirely true My Father died from a staph infection, a coworker's brother dies at under 40 of staph infection/ now at work we have had more than 4 confirmed staph infections one with staph on leg, 2 workers who spend time in fridge both got staph in lungs, now I'm home sick with blisters all over my body and a raw throat is it staph...
The weird pimples or lumps continue to show up on my scalp/at emergency the doctor just said wash with listerine so I have a spray bottle and short hair the situation hasn't changed just keeping it at bay but it returns.... Help?
Hi.. please I have been suffering from some chronic staph for 8 yrs and no antibiotics i have taken seems to work. Please do you have an idea of any to recommend that could help?? I need help please 🙏
I jave excema and staff skin infections are a regular occurance .. until I cut out all sugar and sprayed it with colodial silver and showered every day for 5 mins. 2016 till now I've been clear . but it's back because I started eating some rubbish again. Lesions all over my arms legs and body rash.😢 Docycycline was what I took before.
septicemia = blood poisoning Page 158 Fleming, however, correctly predicted that bacteria would over time become resistant to the new antibiotic, and indeed by 1952, three-fifth of all staphylococci infections had become antibiotic-resistant.
Its on my eyelas area. I got it after swimming in public pool 2 years ago. I went to doc so many times and he kept telling me i have plephritis. Weeks ago i insisted on a swab and it came bacj with this staph. Its coming back less and i take antibiotics now but s few minths ago i fainted and i was very hot. My bp mustve been very low and i guess it was tss. Im not dead obviously but i will probably report doc to health dept. For negligence. 2 years!! Of a weeping red burny eye and waking up with very red eyes and crusting on lashes. 2 years!! My nose is crusted insude. It must be in my nose too
Staph is typically responsive ??? That's funny, cos I just finished reading a study that found that more then 50% of Staph Aureus infections recur within 6 months. I currently have a staph infection I have had for 8 weeks. I am applying Mupirocin both topically and intra nasally, I am now on the fifth course of oral antibiotics (Flucloxacillin and cephalexin), washing with triclosan and also using chlorhexadine cream. Washing bedlinen every three days in hot water and tea tree oil and drying them in dryer IT JUST WILL NOT DIE !!!ThIs bug will prove to be the most serious health issue of our time
I deal with it from time to time and have a scar on the left side of my chin from it. The scar happened because I did not realize it was MRSA, I thought it was herpes or impetigo and I treated it wrong, finally, I went to the ER and they told me I have MRSA. I was given Bactrim (spelling?? not sure if that is exactly how to spell it) and it is a powerful pill, it is very common though and inexpensive. So, after my 1st go around with it, I've had it a couple of times, where it took the top layer of skin off another part of my chin, but it was just the blistered part, what I do now is use Hydrogen Peroxide, it will turn yellow immediately from it, and as I use that I can also tell how far the infection has spread topically, as the anywhere the infection is present the skin will turn yellow in response to the Hydrogen Peroxide. I then add 91% alcohol to the cotton ball and it will sting but I apply it to everywhere that turned yellow. Then I use a topical called mupirocin and that destroys MRSA and then each day, I check to see if it is spreading or retreating by using the Hydrogen Peroxide, and usually after I do that, it stops the spreading and it begins to retreat or just be destroyed. If the skin is all spongy and looks like it is going to fall, I get rid of it and the skin under the layer that was infected with be red, but so what, the damaged skin which is filled with the virus is gone. But that is in extreme cases, as usually using the 3% Hydrogen Peroxide stops it and then being consistent with the medication and the mupirocin eliminates it and your skin is back to normal. I get it around the face, mainly nose, just above the upper lip can be sensitive, and around the chin. It usually happens after shaving, so I try and use a lot of topical alcohol before and after shaving, as well as witch hazel and that helps a lot.
Hi, I am 11 years old even i am suffering mrsa with toxic septic shock, undergone with surgery, was taking linoplus ended up with black tongue then with mycin tablets of all now with clindamycin tablet. Still how long I have to take tablets, when will I come out of it?
@@yeeshaharish2222 Stay away from sugars... even in fruit. Vegetables are great. Not too much fruit though, bugs like staph feed off sugar. fruits in small doses and not very often is ok
I’ve had one for 12 years that they haven’t gotten rid of covering my whole body at this point tried every oral anabiotic that exists and they will not admit me and do an IV anabiotic I don’t know why last culture was still positive for heavy growth staph
@@tooquick6 👋 Hi. Yes, I do still have it.. all over. Stilll seeing derm regularly..last doc I saw for a 2nd opinion had to get his supervisor.. she came in to make sure there wasn’t “more they could be doing for me” - she’s like nope! Just the topicals- Mupiricon, Clinda lotion, and chlorahexadine wash.. I was like I’ve been using these all of them for at least 11 years there’s gotta be something more we can do. They are at a loss.. But it is a smaller rural hospital
@@larissa_7729 I’m so sorry. Im fighting this with you. I also have it all over. I just got a patient advocate to help me. Hopefully something good comes out of it. Wow! I cant believe i'm totally cured at last from the damn shit! Herpes. I'm super excited! I just got rid off both my hsv1 and hsv2 genital herpes respectively within just 11 days after following some super B protocols and guard lines about herpes disease! Fully happy. Don't know if this helps but I got staph from either eating a steak which had funny yellow pebbles all over it. Did not taste right and texture was totally off or it was the chicken nuggets they warned people on the tv that the nuggets had been contaminated by a worker that had staphacocolus. It was terrible, never had so much pain and burning in my teeth😰
